  1. Going to PM you my VIN, DodgeCares... My Journey was built in January. I've had the issue once or twice, but want to make sure my VIN falls under this. Thanks again for the info... YOu've been AWESOME!
  2. Pretty cool contest. I heard that the first one had been won already.
  3. For the longest time I just assumed that it didn't come with a fusebox because I couldn't find it... Didn't expect it to be underneath and behind the glovebox!! I am very lucky with my dealer it sounds like as they have been nothing except awesome to me. Even my sales rep keeps in contact with me to check on how things are going, and remembers my name whenever I'm there. It's little things like that that go a long way for customer satisfaction.
  4. I've seen a few people mention about the excessive brake dust in the Journey, my 2011 hasn't had any (visible) brake dust at all... I only have 7700km on it though.
  5. My January 2011 built Journey also has rubber TPMS sensors. They changed it sometime during the 2011 production year because when I asked a couple dealers about it, they asked for my VIN to check which one mine came with.
  6. Welcome to the Journey family! That's awesome you were able to find one that came with the 8.4! Those are in short supply now! Also - your link is broken for the HIR bulbs I've actually never heard of them before now... do they actually work as advertised?
  7. Looks great! I've also done the Chrome gas cap, R/T emblems on each side, and the front air deflector! I like the way your mirrors turned out as well!
  8. OP - I took a look at the part numbers for the 2010 Journey's vs the 2011 Journey's. The rotors and pads are the same between the 2010 and 2011 model years.
  9. It seems completely bizarre to me that the harness that I received that came from the factory is unavailable from dealers... it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I don't understand how it could be a Canada only part either since it's just the plug... I'm sorry that I can't be of more assistance, and I do hope that there is an actual resolution for this very soon for you guys!
  10. I am wondering if this isn't on the 2011s? I have never ever seen this at all... Even if I'm going down a hill without even using the gas...
  11. The reason I ask is the Mopar hitch (vertical receiver), it rated for 3500 lbs, but the ball mount they provide is only rated for lbs... There are after market ball hitches that will support the full 3500 lbs.

    Dimmer Control

Wonder if you could change the LED to a brighter one for use in the side pockets.
  13. Wow... That is definitely some terrible service that you've received from your dealer... I wouldn't label it all as Dodge though as it seems to be the ineptitude of you dealer unfortunately. I do hope that they were able to fix the battery issue for you.
  14. @LUX MAN - There was a TSB released to address this problem. It's a quick software update done at the dealership.
  15. Wow... That sounds like a complete nightmare for sure! Hopefully you won't have to deal with that dealership anymore!!!!!! Did you end up getting the Mopar hitch rated at 3500 lbs? Or an aftermarket one from the dealership?
  16. This was posted already - but none-the-less, good information. It does resolve the shuffle issue, but there are still a few things that are left unresolved. Here is the link to the discussion when it was originally posted:
  17. Hey there! Welcome to forum! I am guessing that you have the 4.3 touchscreen? I believe there are a couple links to purchase the 8.4, however it is pricy - around $2000... And that doesn't include the VC and BT. Unfortuantely for the 2011's there is no way to add the BT capability yet to our Journey's... Hopefully Dodge/Mopar will release something similar to what is available for the older models, but at this time, nothing
  18. Awesome. I am not sure what exactly changed so much with the 2011's but this doesn't work for the 11's unfortunately. Will definitely be looking forward to an option when it becomes available though. Nice work on yours!
  19. The dealer here wanted something like $130 per rim for the 16's... I ended up getting them from FountainTire for $77 a rim.
  20. I would appreciate it if they did, but sadly it won't happen... They aren't even offering any option to add BT to it that I've been able to fine.
  21. @BUGS - Just out of curiosity, how does the Journey do pulling the full 3500 lbs? Especially on hills?
  22. Where did you get the uConnect Bluetooth kit? Do you have a link to it?
