  1. Personally, I've noticed this: The Journey will downshift from 6th to 5th when there it drops 5kmh. It will drop from 5th to 4th if it continues to drop another 3kmh.
  2. Hey there, Here's what I found in the owners manual for the 2009 Journey: Automatic Unlock Doors on Exit Programming The Automatic Unlock Doors On Exit feature can be enabled or disabled as follows: For vehicles not equipped with the EVIC, perform the following steps: 1. Enter the vehicle and close all doors. 2. Place the key in the ignition switch. 3. Within 15 seconds, cycle the ignition switch between LOCK and ON and then back to LOCK four times ending up in the LOCK position. However, do not start the engine. 4. Within 30 seconds, depress the power door unlock switch to unlock the doors. 5. A single chime will indicate the completion of the programming. NOTE: If you do not hear the chime, it means that the system did not enter the programming mode and you will need to repeat the procedure. 6. Repeat these steps if you want to return this feature to its previous setting

    DRL

Here is what captainhilts did that the posted in another thread that got the DRL to work for him: captainhilts enable DRL
  4. Glad they are finally getting it fixed!!!

    DRL

That's interesting. I thought pressing the lights button in only turned on the fog lights. Thanks for the update.
  6. This might help you out a little bit. http://www.gmb.be/CJD_parts/CD5/Catalogs/06-09/10jc.PDF I took a look in there, and there is a section that talks about the EGR valve. It looks like it connects from the EGR to the intake.
  7. This confirms what DodgeCares posted in the other thread. Some of them cannot be resolved with a software update though.
  8. 911km?! Wow. That's awesome - What was your fuel economy on that tank?
  9. That is pretty insane that it is causing this much of an issue to get something so simple turned on! Hopefully you'll get the right answer soon!
  10. From what I understand, it has to be done via the dealer or some tire shops have the equipment to do it. I'd recommend calling the tire shops in your area to see if they can do it.
  11. Hey there! If you are wanting to tow, I'd definitely make sure you get a Journey with the trailer tow prep package... That will allow towing of up to 3500 lbs. i believe without the tow prep, you can only tow 2000 or 2500.
  12. AWesome! It's a pretty awesome vehicle. It does have a few quirks
  13. DodgeCares - Thank you. I will PM you my VIN. Edit: That TSB you posted was just released yesterday! Thanks for posting it for us so quickly! Those symptoms are exactly what I have experienced sometimes (having to pull the door handle a couple times)... DOdgeCares - Can you keep us updated on the TSB on when they have found a resolution? Looks like right now there is no fix:)
  14. Something incredibly small - THe lip on the drivers side A piller where it attaches to the windshield isn't high enough... When washing your windshield, the wiper pushes the washer fluid right over top of the lip, and if your driver window is open, it will come inside.
  15. Good to know - I wasn't aware of that. It must have only been for certain 2010s... None of the 2011's had it that I am aware of.
  16. Awesome - Glad you got it figured out. It's also possible that someone debadged it intentionally. Some users don't like badges on their vehicle
  17. Hmm... Looking at that TSB it is only for models with the 4.3, not the 8.4... Guess that TSB won't resolve my issue.
  18. So all that caused it was a difference in tread?! I hope he was just making something up because that is a pretty big issue.
  19. I'm quite surprised that yours didn't come with one... The 2011 5 seaters all came with them from the factory as far as I knew...
  20. I wasn't aware that they came with crossbars... All I have ever seen are the Mopar accessories for them added by the dealer after they received stock. Checking our the mopar accessories site might be your best bet.
  21. Here is the part number that I was able to uncover for the LUX badge in the 2011 Dodge Parts list: 68089363AA I would recommend calling your dealer and providing that part number and see if they can pull it up... Otherwise, I'd look at some of those Mopar shops online and see if they can order the part. Lastly, here is the name and phone number of a Dealership I dealt with for ordering accessories from the US and they were awesome: Bosak Motors (Dodge Dealership in Merriville, IN) Jim Jaeger - 219-738-2323 They do have an eBay store, so they do ship to Canada (I've ordered from them personally), so they should be able to source the badge and ship it up to you.
  22. Could it be the switch itself? A wire/contact came apart from the switch?
  23. I believe there is the option in the settings on the uConnect for DRL... I believe another user was having an issue getting them to actually turn on. I would guess that if the country code was changed to Canada, that it should enable the DRLs, but I could be way off.
