  1. It's only 4 years old with 92k on it though. Far from worn out no?
  2. Hmmm....only issue is tacking on another xx years of payments when they'd be done in 2.. Interesting though
  3. Thanks Bramfrank. A big issue is that there is nothing competitive size-wise that is in the same price range. I'd have to jump up a class to have something similar in size or bigger.
  4. I agree Silenze. It was really a question of reliability. Assuming the truck remains as problem free as anyone can hope for, I hope I can drive it for years to come! I just wanted to see if you guys had any major issues or if the truck has been pretty reliable for you all
  5. Oh and true Canadian dealers don't give a crap. In the US you guys get way better deals!!
  6. It will be paid off in 2 years. I just wanted to see if you guys find it reliable. Think it'll make it to 200k if well taken care of? It's my 1st Dodge!
  7. Hey guys I have a 2011 Journey CREW. I must say I like it a lot but have had some issues with it as well. Before 60,000kms I replaced 2 shocks, all 4 brakes, trunk door lock, repaired gear shift 3 times, air filter/smell issues, rear camera calibration, and a few other minor issues. I currently have 93,000 kms and have a clause in my financing that I can return it at 4 years (this April) with no strings. I took it on a 6 year. I am afraid for the long-term reliability and if it will cost me money in the long run. Do I keep it and risk having to put money into it or do I give it back now and get something else (i.e. Honda, Hyundai, Ford, etc.)? Thoughts? Thanks!
  8. Hi guys Been a while since I've been on here. Lots of home projects and an incoming baby taking up all my time!! Quick question and sorry if it has been answered before, I searched for it. I have a 2011 Journey CREW with the 8.4" touchscreen. I did not opt to get the GPS as it came in an expensive package and I did not need all the other stuff (including the GPS). WHat I wanted to know is, is there a module or software I can install to have the GPS functionality? I assume all the vehicles are pre-wired? Same question for the u-connect, as it displays the logo on my screen already but I have no bluetooth! Thanks guys D
  9. Well they already started rusting. Should i grease em?
  10. Cool. Thanks guys. Did you do anything to protect the bolt (i.e grease)? Anything to be done for the hole or leave as is?
  11. Hey guys It's my first winter with the truck. I just put my winter rims on and it's the 1st time on any car that I see this, maybe because the rims are hub-centric? The front rims seem to have a "bolt" exposed and the rear ones have a hole all the way through where I can see my disc. - See pics Is this normal or do I need to do something to protect them (i.e. grease the front bolt, cap the rear hole somehow)? Thanks D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/dproko/IMG177.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/dproko/IMG178.jpg
  12. Hey guys sorry if this was already answered. I'm at work and can't search on here too long cause our connection sucks and I'm probably sucking up all the bandwidth. Called a garage for a quote. he quoted me 875 tax in with rims for the Toyo Observe open country. He said the rims are not OEM but there would be no issue to install them. He had done so on another journey this week. Think it'll be ok? Thanks D
  13. So I went to the dealership last Friday. Obviously the brakes didn't squeal while I was there so they couldn't diagnose the problem properly. The one thing they did was sand the pads and lubrify the calipers. So far so good. No squealing since. Will it last though...I'll keep you posted!
  14. 8.8? Wow that's great! Best I got was 8.9 but that didn't last the whole trip to Boston from Montreal.
  15. Going to dealer Friday at 9am. I'll let you guys know what they say...
