  1. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc is the one i use
  2. seems like remember someone posting that the oil filter cooler was covered under the power train warranty which i believe for the 2014 is 5 yr 60 k , i would call a different dealership and ask them or maybe dodge care can chime in on this post......as far as your last sentence since no other car manufacture has any problems with their product ,all i can say is good bye then....
  3. well report back after doing thoes 3 items.... 1,3,2 is what id check first.. but first throw a charger on the battery, over nite so it will be fully charged then if it runs drive it down and have a load check done on it to see if its good , most places ( auto part stores) will check your alt. for free if you can take the car to them. have no idea on the battery temp sensor ,,,,,,,, last week seen a girl and old man working on her Honda or whatever it was ,they were trying to jump start it, but as soon as they disconnected the cables it would die. even more interesting was when it was off you couldn't even put the gear selector in neutral from park so we jumped it again and then before we disconnected the cables i had her put in neutral it did it with no problem so then we took the cables off and it died again but at least we were able to push the car off the road to the side and then she put it back into park and then we couldn't move the shift lever again.told her about the battery sensor cable and then had to leave so never did find out what they did to it. ..........can you shift the gear selector as of right now in your journey?
  4. if you feel you can replace the plugs yourself ,do it and as jkeaton suggest swap the coil packs to see if the error code swaps to the different plug, you are getting close to the time to do the plugs anyway. also i have checked with several local garages and their price to replace plugs are about the same or more than my local dealership so i am going to go with the dealership myself here in a little bit with my 14 crossroad, i have about 84 k on it now.will probally let them do the coolant flush at the same time i know more $$ for them to do but then its on the record i had it done and i have the max life warranty. so that way i am covered ,let us know what you find out...good luck
  5. last couple of days the site seems to take forever to load or when clicking on post, computer working fine on all other sites just real slowwwww here?
  6. wouldnt hurt to clean it,have watched a you tube on it not hard..
  7. what about the map sensor,.............. What common symptoms indicate you may need to replace the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP Sensor)? Erratic or rough idling Delay in acceleration or deceleration Check Engine light is on Excess exhaust emissions resulting in failed emissions test
  8. not a common problem but I was watching a you tube on it, there are some seals on the bottom side that can leak and or a over tightened cap on top, since it has a o ring seal most oil change places are over tightening the caps and they are made out of plastic so they crack. i do my own oil changes and i just put some oil on the new O ring and hand tighten it down as tight as i can by hand and then use my socket and give it a little push, thats all. always comes loose the next time and never a leak....o rings when tightened to much tear or leak.
  9. i just googled .........dodge journey inside fuse box location....... there is a video of it right below the glove box partially covered it looks like by carpet and or cardboard cover .............
  10. yep they love to post here and complain about the pos journey and then never come back to report on what ever they found out that fixed their problems kinda doesn't help others that way glad you have had good luck with your journey i love mine

  12. dont think changing your battery will fry it,ive replaced 2 batteries in 2 different journeys and no problems
  13. the awd light could being caused if you are running on the smaller spare tire, even different amount of tread wear can make it come on i believe.
  14. what size rim? factory rim? why is it crazy, he hit a curb probally damaged the wheel hub and sensers need to get it into a garage that works on that to have it checked. re[lacement rims cab be bought off mopar websites listed on internet, some discount the prices a good bit ....good luck try www.lkqpickyourpart.com
  15. yea i know but was thinking something just for repair videos or links to you tube repair, might be to hard to keep up with all the spammers or misuse i guess. thanks anyway...

  18. the advise i gave about replacing the belt tensioner was given to my father yrs ago by a dodge dealership he had had a new alt put on so he also had them do the belt they didnt advise to replace the tensioner and while he was on a trip about a week later, out of town the belt came off and he had it towed into the local dodge dealership and they asked him didnt they tell you to replace the tensioner when doing the other work and said no why? the manger explained that when you take the belt off the tensioner a lot of times they go bad and or dont go back to full pressure that they are supposed to be . anyways they fixed my dads van gave him a new belt and all he had to pay was for the new tensioner they, didnt even charged him labor just the price of the belt as they said it should have been suggested to him the first time........do want you want and hopefully you wont have any problems..... good luck.
  19. of course it has a serpentine belt they all do but you all were talking timing belts you also need to change out the belt tensioner as well as a lot of time the lose the correct tension after the belt being removed and then reinstalled, it happened to my dads van good luck on the repair and make a video for you tube and be a star.
  20. didnt know the 3.6 had a timing belt thought it was a chain and certainly not at 100 k
  21. i believe the lighting bolt sign you are talking about is the throttle body light
