    Leather Seats

normal they came that way from the factory....
  3. glad to hear about the journey and sad to hear about the bike accident. take care and get well the bad thing is when you get older like me things that happened to you when you were younger ,comes back to haunt you. arthritis and aches and pains so take it easy on your body......
  4. so was it an OEM or aftermarket unit? i have a 2014 OEM and it has been working okay the last few years but recently it has been a little inconsistent lately sometimes working and then sometimes not, havent been to worried about it as i have a fold up rack that carry's my wife's scooter on the back so makes the cam not to important. iv checked the wiring going thur the hatch back and no wire problems there i can see, but i have heard a lot of journey owners on face book complaining about the same thing.
  5. well just got back from a trip to the Smokey Mountain area, and have about 82 k on the 3.6 engine in our journey and even with us carrying my wife's 3 wheel medical scooter on the bumper carrier rack with 2 adults, the total miles driven was 712 and we used 30 gal for an avg mpg of 23.73 mpg. i topped off the tank about 3 times not wanting to get caught some where gas was outrageous. the trip computer was saying total for the trip was 26.5 mpg but some stop and go and around the town driving actually brought it down some but overall the mpg wasn't bad for all the driving thur the mountains. We went to Helen GA which it was supposed to be Oktoberfest but most of the town was still only half open so it was a let down for the wife and then the last 2 nights we went to Cherokee N.C. to the casnio and actually won some money so that was a great plus to the trip, but the big let down was we bought 5 tickets to the mega millions lottery and dam we didnt win anything, lol oh well guess we will have to live with out all that money... but overall the journey took the mountains well and we had a great time....
  6. just remember the warranty only covers up to what the actual cash value of what the journey is worth at the the time of the repair, if it is more than the value of the journey they only cover that much minus the ded.
  7. no problems with my journey but my 2001 dodge pickup would do that the first time when applying the brakes then no more problems the rest of the day, never did worry about it and my truck was used in mild weather that we get in Alabama
  8. if it is fixed properly you shouldn't have no more problems with it.
  9. why wouldn't be okay. I would demand the service manager ride with me in your journey and point out the noise you are hearing and then say now we will take a test drive in a different awd journey on the same roads and show him the noise difference if their is one....if they wont find a different dealership and remind then nicely that you buy your vec where you get them serviced
  10. well after having the alignment done you waited till spring and then put on new tires and didnt bother to have them recheck the alignment and now blame the dealership after the tires get ruined again? have to say a lot of the problem was due to you. I had my rear alignment go bad and it ruined both of the rears lucky they were getting to the end of their life anyways, so i had the dealership do a alignment and after a couple of months later when i bought new tires i went to quick lane tire store ( they are a national chain store) they had a sign up that they offered lifetime 4 wheel alignments for $179. so i bought that service ( alignment was fine they told me) and have since had it checked about 2-3 more times since then you might want to check them out if they are in your state. good luck
  11. i am no mech but it sounds like what ever controls the fluid pressure be the torque converter or whatever. good luck and report back on what you find when you get it fixed
  12. with the flush DID you have them replace the filter with an OEM one or after market filter?
  13. its like when your working on your journey and the dam wrench is just a little loose then you have to stop and hunt for the metric wrench or socket and then realize dam i dont have that size ,then have to reach for the vice grips....LOL plays both ways on us southerns take care up there i might have to get out of my shorts here in another month or two...
  14. he probally hasn't even looked at his owners manual...probally be a one poster
  15. actually i believe the fuel pumps were moved to the gas tanks yrs ago because it made it more standard and less parts that had to be added onto the engine for all the different car models. i worked at Chrysler Huntsville Electronics for 28 yrs and remember all the different parts we made for different car manufactures. fuel pump sending units, oil sender units speedometer clusters all the different computer modules ,radios, air bags senders, and many more automotive parts. we made parts for ford,gm, and many different import makers as well.
  16. well dodge is based in the U.S. guess its because of that reason. But i do wonder what about imports are their metrics or standard like the usa, have never owned an import to know any difference...
  17. i cant believe i just lost 2 minutes of my life reading this post,
  18. well i have a hard time believing that a air filter put in backwards would cause a difference in air flow on only one side of the hvac system, ( as the filter is just a thin piece of cotton ) more likely the blend door became response after you were changing the filter, anyways good luck that it stays working for you. now the temp difference what be from a partially plug heater core and from what most posters have commented on that flushing sometimes works only to find they later on need to replace the heater core , being 2011 might be better to just replace the heater core instead of doing the flush ( save a little $$) check out you tube for the easy and cheap way to do it than the dealership way....
  19. my daughter had a problem couple yrs ago with the coil going bad on her caravan sounds like what you are having problems with, they ( regular garage not the dealership) kept replacing her coil said it was bad, lucky thing was the coil was guaranteed for 1 yr and it kept going bad about every 3 months ( this was her postal van) so it started bucking and messing up so she took it in and it ran good for him but he said leave it and let me try it for a couple of days he ended up finding out the wires in the connector were shorting out and thus making the coil go bad he replaced the connector from the wire loom and no more problems for her. have them check for shorted or bare wires. good luck
  20. thanks for posting back with the solution, might help some one else down the line. good luck i have had 2 journeys and have loved them both
  21. JUST go by your local dodge dealership they can look up your vin# and print out everything your journey came with and they can also print out all the maintenance it has rec from any and all dodge dealerships since it was brand new, you can probable even do it yourself online if you google how to do it.... try this web site dont know if it works for Canada www.dodge.com
  22. well might as well change the left one out and hope that was it. check your power steering fluid level just to be safe. and seems like all the new posters are double posting their comments here lately...might be the blogs programming?
  23. so much info.....dark road and a match?
  24. well the good thing about your warranty the trans they just put in is also covered for as long as you own it, please find out what it would have cost you for not the warranty. also it should be covered for a period after you get it back if any problems with it without a ded. that is what they told me when i had to use mine for the oil pressure sender switch that went bad i think t was 2 yrs.
