  1. most extended warranties have a deductible . even if its a covered problem, i went with a $100 ded. on my max warranty that i bought.
  2. mine made a little noise but i used a silicone lubricant spray and never had any more noise but also i live in a warmer environment than you all do so might be some corrosion problems that is causing the problem.
  3. as Journeyman said, my fwd has more pep and power than the tires can handle, you lose hp when it is transferred to your rear wheels vs all the hp going to the front wheels. just the nature of the setup .
  4. www.youtube.com/watch?v=26FyUgmhUNQ this is for a 2010 caravan but about the same thing you need to do
  5. check you tube i believe their is a few videos showing this repair. keep us posted and good luck
  6. your welcome, also dont forget your coolant it ages and can cause problems with age.
  7. my daughter had a similar problem with her jeep, sorry to say we never found out the problem she traded it in on a new jeep. i have had heard of other car owners have the same problems. i would check for loose connections near or under the outside fuse block under the hood. maybe some one else here can help. good luck
  8. do a load test on the battery and also check the alt, i assume the vehicle other than the dash is working okay, are the wipers coming on by themselves also. we need a lot more info than you are providing
  9. well even if you buy the rubber boot you would have to cut every wire to run thur it then reconnect them, why not just wrap the wires in electrical tape and then silicone the holes shut around the wires. or just wrap the boot back around the wires and then use some tape to close it up and reinsert the boot ends back into the holes with a little silicone for sealer. but if you really want the boot just go to any dodge dealership part department and they can look up the part # for you and order it.
  10. i have always bought dodge and my caravans always seemed to start leaking around 100 k so i had a great transmission man that i always used and when i bought my 2011 journey with the 6 speed trans i asked him if he could work on them and he said not for a long time as they required to much for him to get involved with them...thats when i bought my 14 crossroad i went with the unlimited miles and yrs warranty with mopar....
  11. P2563 code. doesn't exist using google? what engine? miles on journey?is this a diesel? need a lot more info for help.

  15. sorry if i upset you Donald as i said i was only stating on how old the trans oil was, if you dont want to change it then dont. since you dont have a dip stick you might be low on fluid? as i asked what engine you had and you gave no answer. bad spark plugs can give some of the problems you seem to be stating, you are posting asking for help and i was only trying to give some insight but do as you please and i hope you get it figured out.
  16. glad you are so smart on how to deal with your problem, i was just stating that your trans fluid was 6 yrs old, do what you want,i was just offering my point of view. hope you find out your problem.good luck.
  17. well you should have let them do the trans service they are right 6 yrs old. i had my trans service down on my 2014 at around 70 k even tho it isn't supposed to be done till 100 k its called preventive maintenance, also when i get to about 90- 100 k going to have the plugs changed and the coolant changed out good luck on whatever you find out.just out of curiosity what engine do you have.3.6 or 2.4 if the 2,4 change out your plugs with org. factory plugs?
