  1. like the strips, not sure about the red rims, not my style but if you like them congrats....
  2. most products like this are more subjective to what you want to believe. only a dino test would show any improvement, kind of like k-n air filters giving you better performance and mpg (which i do use but havent noticed anything except saving money of the replacement filters) kind of like a placebo pill if you believe in it it works for a while. just my thoughts.plus to save any money on gas mileage it would be a very long time considering the price they want.also your friend doing both things at one time he really cant say which one helped him the most if any.
  3. it shouldn't cause the engine to overheat but it might leak coolant and also not let the coolant return to the rad after it is cooled do to the leak.have you flushed the system and maybe a the rad is partially plugged up, check your hoses to make sure they are not collapsing and closing off coolant flow are you sure they used the right thermostat so many causes, also fan should be kicking on before you reach high temps. how high are the temps are you talking about?
  4. found this, actually only list up to 2017 that it fits.... BUT the same thing was said when i had my 2011 journey they said no back up cam they had would work on it when i first bought it new but about the yr later then it all of a sudden it was listing a part # for my 2011.... have a feeling they dont update their part # to include the newest model, get with your dealership as if they had to repair a 2018 back up cam they would have to order the part and i bet it would be the old part #....you could buy it and run the wires and then just pay the dealership to flash it. has been discussed in the forum under settings check them out. Rear View Camera Brand : Dodge Part Number : 82212553AB Our Price : $360.00
  5. there shouldn't be any noise ,didnt listen to the video but there shouldn't be any noise so TAKE it back to the dealership before your warranty is up.....
  6. has been discussed here a lot you can go with org oem back up cam for a lot less. i assume you have the 8.4 screen cam from mopar is somewhere about 350. and about 150-200 for install and then its covered under your 3/36 warranty check the threads under the forums for more info.
  7. well was meaning if its just one wiper maybe it was loose on the post that turns the wiper and had offset it. the wipers are held on by a spring clip to a serrated post for holding it in one postion
  8. probally the motor you could pull all the plastic push pins that hold the black plastic cover that hides the wiper linkage and motor under the hood and then run the wipers and see if any thing or what is happening while they are in motion.then you could also see if you want to do the repair or have a mechanic do it. let us know what you find out, also a regular mechanic would be cheaper than the dealership
  9. you should be able to turn them off thur your radio in the settings section,LOL most of the post on here are wanting to activate the drl for the U.S. folks, good luck.
  10. could be an electrical gremlin with all the computers try disconnecting the battery for half hour then reconnect, might help couldn't hurt...
  11. actually since he is talking about the rear plate they use the nut insert the uses a different thread them the ones you showed and he would be better to make them fix it then for him to try to fix it. the insert and screws can be bought off amazon or someplace that handles such screws. M6 6mm Flat Head Aluminum Rivet Nut Blind Insert Nut Pack Of 100 not sure if this is the size he needs but this what he needs and then has to remove the old ones that are bad put in the new ones than buy the screws. you can u tube to see hoe to install them buy buying the tool or rigging one up yourself. i actually have a a small cup of them off the floor when i worked at the caravan plant 10 yrs ago still haven't used any of them yet...lol
  12. search the forum under which you posted i have seen articles showing how to do it, not cheap tho
  13. well why not go back to the dealership and have them fix it or replace the screws for you i assume it is a new journey and even if it isn't still hold them libel .
  14. no its not the limp mode as usually limp mode only lets you go as high as about 20 mph at least that was what happened to me in my caravan. i would say something didnt get fixed or connected while being fixed
  15. i would think so but why not check with body shop at your dealership for a correct answer
  16. since you doubt its the battery. i WOULD def rule that out by having it load tested before doing anything else ,and clean all the connections and battery post.might just save you some $$ and heartaches
  17. i have a NewGarmin portable also that has been updated and i have learned not to always trust it 100 % as it has tried to take me the long way to go somewhere that i already knew the way to and has at times had me going around in circles, so its not the journey fault. even my old Garmin had tried to give me a runaround at times also,,, at least the new one doesn't say recalculating all the time when i dont listen to her.....
  18. welcome to the group
  19. here in the states we are so lucky to have reasonable shopping options its crazy on how much things cost overseas that we dont see, even stuff for Canada cost so much more, just doesn't seem fair.. take care and check back in and post some pics of your journey and your country side.....
