  1. well was meaning if its just one wiper maybe it was loose on the post that turns the wiper and had offset it. the wipers are held on by a spring clip to a serrated post for holding it in one postion
  2. probally the motor you could pull all the plastic push pins that hold the black plastic cover that hides the wiper linkage and motor under the hood and then run the wipers and see if any thing or what is happening while they are in motion.then you could also see if you want to do the repair or have a mechanic do it. let us know what you find out, also a regular mechanic would be cheaper than the dealership
  3. you should be able to turn them off thur your radio in the settings section,LOL most of the post on here are wanting to activate the drl for the U.S. folks, good luck.
  4. could be an electrical gremlin with all the computers try disconnecting the battery for half hour then reconnect, might help couldn't hurt...
  5. actually since he is talking about the rear plate they use the nut insert the uses a different thread them the ones you showed and he would be better to make them fix it then for him to try to fix it. the insert and screws can be bought off amazon or someplace that handles such screws. M6 6mm Flat Head Aluminum Rivet Nut Blind Insert Nut Pack Of 100 not sure if this is the size he needs but this what he needs and then has to remove the old ones that are bad put in the new ones than buy the screws. you can u tube to see hoe to install them buy buying the tool or rigging one up yourself. i actually have a a small cup of them off the floor when i worked at the caravan plant 10 yrs ago still haven't used any of them yet...lol
  6. search the forum under which you posted i have seen articles showing how to do it, not cheap tho
  7. well why not go back to the dealership and have them fix it or replace the screws for you i assume it is a new journey and even if it isn't still hold them libel .
  8. no its not the limp mode as usually limp mode only lets you go as high as about 20 mph at least that was what happened to me in my caravan. i would say something didnt get fixed or connected while being fixed
  9. i would think so but why not check with body shop at your dealership for a correct answer
  10. since you doubt its the battery. i WOULD def rule that out by having it load tested before doing anything else ,and clean all the connections and battery post.might just save you some $$ and heartaches
  11. i have a NewGarmin portable also that has been updated and i have learned not to always trust it 100 % as it has tried to take me the long way to go somewhere that i already knew the way to and has at times had me going around in circles, so its not the journey fault. even my old Garmin had tried to give me a runaround at times also,,, at least the new one doesn't say recalculating all the time when i dont listen to her.....
  12. welcome to the group
  13. here in the states we are so lucky to have reasonable shopping options its crazy on how much things cost overseas that we dont see, even stuff for Canada cost so much more, just doesn't seem fair.. take care and check back in and post some pics of your journey and your country side.....
  14. i do that also, never have ordered nothing from them either
  15. https://www.moparpartsoverstock.com/p/Dodge__Durango/HOSE/.../04891862AB.html $46.25 here in the states they might would ship to you .good luck
  16. please respond back when you find out what happens and your fix for the problem for the next person....
  17. do like jkeaton said and buy local unless its a huge difference. to be sure.things have happened a couple of times when buying parts to me and being local i was upset but just a trip back to the store to get it straightened out didnt have to wait days or weeks or have to put it back together again. i would also stay away from JC Whitney, go with rock auto if you do order parts.
  18. never had ,nor never want a hole in my roof, but you might stop by your local dealership to ask for some advise on how to install it maybe take a 6 pack of beer and go towards closing time to talk to some of the mech. there prob are some that do repair on their own time that might help you... good luck
  19. what size engine. need a lot more info . should be able to source a part from the internet with the correct info.we dont use diesel engines here if that is what it is.seams like your local garage should be able to get or make a similar hose fit. good luck
  20. take it to your local mech and let him install or get his opinion weather this would work for you.

    dealerships

i have always known most dealerships charge different amounts for parts and labor ,so i am getting close to having my plugs changed in my 3.6 i have about 80 k on it now ( 100 k is suggested) and since it looks a little more than i want to do i started pricing the cost from a couple of dealerships first one was a dealership closest to me and they wanted $425. then i called my dealership that i normally use which is about twice the distance than the other dealership and they wanted $225 for it and i asked about doing the coolant flush ( 150 k is suggested) and they want $125 so think i will have them both done at the same time, at least with them doing it ill have it on record that it was done.. Just thought id put the reminder out their to price check your dealerships before you have anything done. Take care all
  22. always asking for help but most never report back after they get theirs fixed to help others out.
