  5. yes during the winter time there is a loud squeal ,i live in Al. so we dont get cold like they do up north or in Canada ,so mine is usually just a loud squeak or short squeal. havent heard any one complaining about it during warm weather.so why should they have to pay to fix a 7 yr old water pump or power steering problem unless she just bought it and it was in the sales contract that it was to be fixed ? not sure what you meant by your statement....
  6. my 2014 had a bad oil sender at about 45 k all i seen was the Gage was pegged at highest it could go, i was on vacation and as i have the max care warranty , i took it to the out of state dodge dealership they gave me a free rental and it was ready the next day ,cost me my ded of $100. otherwise with the rental the dealer said it would cost about $450 to 500. good luck on what ever you decide to do
  7. cheapest way to go is check your local recycling yard ( junk Yard) for org oem. should be cheaper than new from dealer

  10. use to have problems with the caps coming off the lug nuts (cheap nuts from chry) mostly caused from air guns over torquing the lug nuts. you might have to drill it out. before doing this go on amazon and order you a complete set of solid lug nuts cost is quiet reasonable ( $ 20-30)and also use a torque wrench from now on when putting the lug nuts back on.
  11. i dont believe a used 2016 is eligible for the lemon law
  12. how many miles on the journey?, thinking you might want to change all your plugs while your that far into it, just a thought
  13. they sent me a letter saying they wanted to give me 2 months free on my 2014 i never kept it after the first year, i just threw the letter in the trash...
  14. so is it a 2017 or a 2018 either way still new but different values in price?
  15. the mopar full warranty should cover anything down the line in repairs, congrats on the purchase
  16. learn something every day here... hope i never need to use the advise...LOL thanks bfurth
  17. i had a 2011 ( a few problems with the undersized brakes) had 70 k on it liked it so much i traded it for my 2014 crossroad have had one small oil sender problem at 45 k but my extended warranty took care of that (100. ded) plan on driving it till i pass on or it does. that said if your so worried about things you have read you might want to get something else. just remember you usually only hear the bad stuff about things and the good praise usually goes unsaid. good luck on what ever you decided.
  18. might find it at your local auto salvage yard also,,, bfurth glad you posted this i didnt know the location for this part, does each wheel have its own module or is this for all 4 tires?
  19. hope you didnt get hit to hard on the trade in, you will like the caravan just as much or maybe more than the journey as it will give you more room inside in case you got kids. i like the styling of the Journey better but the vans are really about the same and share a lot of the same components. good luck and be careful with your new purchase.....
  20. usually its between 80-100 for a diagnostic check, if i was you i wouldn't bother having it fixed unless it is bothering you real bad, you might find a after market garage that would be a little cheaper i guess,
  21. did you ever disconnect the battery for a while? it may be holding onto the old code after moving the wheel, good luck but sounds like a trip to the dealership for an expensive visit if its something you cant live without.
