my daughter couple yrs ago called and said dad i think the transmission is going bad in my caravan she told me it was making a slight knocking noise and was jerking when trying to pick up speed while going down the road so i went out took it for a test drive and then lifted the hood and heard the noise she had 1 spark plug that had loosened up and that was all that was the problem so you never know what could be causing your problems....

i did use used tires on my 2011 journey never had a problem with the abs system i believe it is the awd that have a problem with different tire sizes and or low -high tread on the tires. we have a local place that sells used tires and he sells them at a great price and gives a 90 day warranty on any problems with the tires, but the above tire business sells them as is without warranty on them after you have them mounted.....

well just remember you hear from the upset or pissed off folks alot more than you do from thoes who are happy with their vehicle, the only problems i had with my 2011 was from the undersized brakes and rotors and false reading from the transmission, then i got my 2014 crossroad and have been tickled pink until about 45k and had a oil sensor started giving a false high pressure reading and that was fixed under my max mopar warranty and they treated me quite good on that....

seems like a great price and they have 4 left in that size ,only problem i see with this company is that all the tires weather new or used is they are sold as is and once mounted and drove off the lot there is no warranty on them at all and if you rec them and decide you dont want them for any reason you have to pay the return shipping on them. so that is a no go for me, but hope they work out for you..........

? so did replacing the blown fuse make work or not
-
first change the fuse then if still broken i would check the actual horn by running a wire from the battery and check to see if the horn is the problem before tearing onto the steering wheel good luck...

make up some for sale ads and post on other journeys in parking lots when you see one also post them for sale down at your local gas station or dealership if they will let you. might try to sell them to a local car lot, good luck on the future sale

2014 and up use a different oil filter so it might matter a lot, but i have no idea for sure, i would just order the org part that way no unexpected problems might pop up on you,,,,,,but that is up to you....

google and youtube videos work wonders

if you are losing coolant then you do HAVE a leak somewhere...
-
maybe the dealership? take the one bolt out and go to lowes and get another bolt that matches it.

before investing any work or $$$ disconnect your battery for about 15-20 minutes then reconnect and see if that might fix your problems so many computer glitches these days..

agree with Ohare on the fan connectors i've had 2 different vech that had burnt or melted connectors that connect the fan wiring to the wiring loom, also if possible to check for power at connector going to the fan for power. possible your electric fan has went bad so many things it could be just be careful and dont ruin your engine take it in to a mech if you have to..

could be the switch at the door has gone bad.

used 1 on my 2011 with 70k on it till i traded it on a 2014 and i took it out of my 2011 and put it into my new one and i have about 70 k on this one for a total of about 140k and not a problem yet,i clean it once a yr let it dry real good and then re-oil it and then reinstall it, also i use the k-n cabin filter also saves a lot of money....BUT i do use mopar oil filters for the engine

well when all else fails why not call the dodge dealership for info so easy to do.. -
good luck you wont find thoes wires
-
that is a service dept that i would wonder if they knew what they were doing? why because if your looking for a problem and see a leak coming out of the transfer and still say well lets check the transmission instead of the transfer case and had seen the similar problem on a different vech. DUH hope this is being covered on their dime and they just aren't trying to milk you on it.. Just another reason why i won't buy awd as it just adds to the repair cost with more parts to go bad vs fwd vehicles.. good luck but as i said earlier bet it will be something in the transfer case is the problem....

to be honest since the production of the dodge caravan has been discontinued that left a hole in the chrysler and dodge van lineup, use to be you could buy a caravan for the avg family starting out for around 20k now the lowest is around 28-30k for a family van so the base journeys are picking up their absent. chrysler should never had abandoned the dodge and chrysler van as a lot of their former customers that still want a van are moving up to the imports....

heads up to any one in the States my local ford dealership has a side store called Quick Lane they are a new franchise dealing in auto service and tires, anyway they dont advertise it too much but they offer 4 wheel alignments for $79. for a one time, or $179. for a lifetime alignments, had to have one done couple months ago and paid $89. at the dodge dealership. thinking since i bought the max lifetime mopar warranty i think i'll go there and get the lifetime alignment from Quick lane they said no limit on how many times i want it checked or fixed and good till i sell it or wreck it... anyways heads up to you all about this service.....

shouldn't be hard as long as there is power to the plugs you found,
