no, you are not screwed, only if the last oil changed you screwed it up some how and caused engine damage like using the wrong oil filter ( there are 2 filters for the 3.6 engine) or maybe used transmission oil instead of reg approved oil, yes you should kept records and when possible recites, doing engine modification that cause damage will void your warranty...take care

JDM ASTAR 1200 Lumens Extremely Bright 144-EX Chipsets PSX24W 2504 LED Fog Light Bulbs with Projector for DRL or Fog Lights, Xenon White ($19.99) wasn't going to add led to the fog (driving lights) as it seamed like to much trouble but was ordering some stuff off amazon and to get free shipping i bought these lights.i miss the old days to get to your lights you just undid 2 screws, the lens pops off and put in new bulb and add your lens back and your done... now to reach the fog lights i popped off the inner fender cover turned the wheel in or out and then strained to get the light electrical connection to come loose remove the blue plastic clip on the electrical connection removed the old bulb installed the new bulb onto the connector then reconnected the bulb to the base. (glad i had bought some of the push pins couple of months ago to be used when the need was to arrive) to replace the old ones that didnt survive the removal process... well since you have a garage to get it out of the weather take it for a good ride then after putting it in the garage try taping a small sheet of clear plastic under where you think the leak might be and try to get it level so you can catch some of the fluid before it soaks into the concrete floor, should be able to determine if it is anti freeze or trans oil then next nite try cleaning off everything where it might be leaking and tape some white Kleenex around each tube and or connection to pinpoint where the leak is. good luck let us know what you find... plus after you shut the engine off the pressure and or heat on the coolant builds up more as it isn't being circulated as when the engine is running...

Happy New Journey owner but crazy hitch question
2late4u replied to grapeguy's topic in Hauling & Towing
did you run the wire to the front battery or get power from the rear? -
well it is about 8 yrs old, check the forum for blend doors so I assume you are getting just cold air blowing on the passenger side while getting heat blowing on the drivers side.

everybody has their own opinion on when to do oil changes but at 500 miles is a little soon but if that is what he wants okay.i stay with name brand oil ,what the manufacture calls for on the weight, i also use syn oil but not blended. read somewhere not to use syn blended oil. and i usually go at least 6k between changes havent seen the oil change message in a long time and have 68 k on my crossroad.i did have the dealership change the transmission oil and filter at about 60k book says at 100k but i think that is a little to long....
