  1. this what should be under the forum for those with unresolved dealership repair problems easy to find for thoes who need it
  2. jkeaton it would be great if the dodge care name and what area they serve listed on the forum under a special heading as people to contact in case of difficult problems with dealers and the posters problems
  3. Stephanie Dodge Social Care Specialist try contacting this person she helps out posters here when she is on line, hope you get help i would try to follow up with getting higher up help with dodge corporate .if the dealership is admitting they see and feel the problem they should be able to get help from the corporate engineers. i had asked my local dealership how much plug change cost and he had told me about $250. i plan on maybe getting my local mech to do it when needs to be done. hope you find out what the problem is. i feel bad for you.....
  4. actually i asked about that as i carry my wife's 3 wheel scooter (200 lb) and the hitch was about (50 lb) and he said that shouldn't affect or cause it to go out of alignment it is from the road wear and tear is what can knock it out, but i would assume carrying something heavy might make it easier to go bad.
  5. take it back to the dealership. that is what your warranty is for.....
  6. sorry to hear but anything can happen to any kind of vehicle, hopefully they will find the problem with it,at least you have warranty so that is a good thing. keeps us informed n what happens and good luck...

    Ugh. Winter

yea getting cold here as well had to switch from my shorts and flip flop to my pants and reg shoes at times.....
  8. i would probably change the plugs as i said i once has a caravan that ended up being a bad plug wasn't throwing a code and most of the time it ran ok but then would mess up kind of like a hesitation , sorry dont have any other idea.
  9. has been discussed quite a bit, you can research it in the forum under Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
  10. well if your into saving money all cites have some garage selling takeoff tires from wreck or whatever, i have bought them with no problem last set i put on my 2011 main street same size i believe as what you quoted , they had about 75-80 percent tread left on them and most places give you 30 -90 day warranty on them and can be bought for about half price that new tires cost, my problem with my 2014 crossroad i have the 19 inch rims and they dont get them as of yet...
  11. i bet he is in hell when he goes to buy underwear......
  12. not always , so is this a dodge dealership you are dealing with or a reg car lot? might be fuel pressure problem or a vacuum leak who knows you wont find the answer here as we cannot see or have knowledge of the problem you need to take it to a qualified garage that you trust good luck...
  13. is this the shop that owns the lot where you bought it? and if you let them tell you that is a normal sound then there is no hope for you. not trying to be an arse but i meant take it to a local shop not affiliated to the dealership where you bought it. they will tell you what they think that noise is as since we are just guessing here from what skimpy info you gave us.like miles on the speedo and what kind of service records, did you get a carfax on it(accident reports) no car should make dragging noises when turning that is not normal... good luck......
  14. just do them all, and be done with it after all the car is going on 9yrs old........
  15. when turning and hearing a clicking noise is a front cvc joint going bad. also check out u tube videos on front end noise might be a bad wheel bearing going bad, since you say you have a warranty take it to a local garage and take them for a ride to hear the noise and they might tell you what is wrong. good luck
  16. discount tire always runs a great sale on tires during a holiday( thanksgiving coming up) you pay reg price on a set of 4 tires and they usually have at least $ 65-100 rebates from the manufacture plus an extra $ 65-75 rebate from them and if you use their credit card (easy to apply and get immediately approved) you get an extra $30-65 rebate they also ship the tires for free. Plus no sales tax unless your state requires it... have bought 2 sets from them and you get them within 3-5 days .... tire rack you have to pay for the shipping....

    Ugh. Winter

sounds like a great plan you have,do you have a place in Australia or just visiting. stay safe mate
  18. also when you put the best tires on they still can get ruined by your alignment as that has just happened to me ,my rear tires started wearing on the inside of the tires from the rear aliment went bad and i rotate and balance my tires every 10k but by the time i noticed it both rear tires are quite wore down on just the inside of them and it is hard to see that while they are on the car also with the alignment out of wack the car didnt change the way it was riding it didnt pull or run bad. so i expect to get maybe about another 10k out of them but i have 32k on them now and they were rated for 70k on the warranty of course even the fronts wouldn't have made that amount either. these 19 tires just dont seam to last like the 17 inch on i had on my 2011 journey did i got 65 k on them...so this next time i am going to do what jkeaton said and go with the beal deal i can get ... i am running cooper cs5 touring tires now....
  19. well since you havent said how long you have had the car( the trans has a learning period on your driving habits)or how many miles are on the speedo, condition of the vehicle. its hard to give advice, i have a 2014 crossroad with about 68k on it and I dont have the problem you describe feeling something thur the pedals or seat i might would suggests brake rotors but only if felt when braking. possible bent wheel or maybe a wheel bearing starting to go bad, what ever you find let us know and good luck .also might could be a bad spark plug i had something like that yrs ago on a caravan drove me crazy as it didnt cause enough trouble till it finally went bad enough to find it... just a thought on the plugs
  20. well you could jump start it and take it down to the local auto part store most will check your battery for free and your charging system. sounds most likely your battery is going bad, that would be the first thing to do, that said it is under the the wheel well and is best to remove the tire for easier replacement.good luck and also buy the best battery you can since it is in a bad location....check out you tube for some videos on what you will be doing or pay someone couple hundred to do it for you...
  21. has been discussed alot look thur the forum for what you need.....
  22. should be able to get a locksmith to use a slim jim since it is a side door....also this is for the front doors it might help or check out you tube videos for help...Dodge Journey DIY Maintenance & Repair Guides. then scroll down to pauls dodge journey info.....

    OEM Heated Seat

we bought a 2014 crossroad that didnt have heated seats the dealer said they wouldn't install them as the passenger seat has a different kind of airbag sensor in it if the car comes from the factory without the heated seats. so i had Katzkin install the heated seats, but they also wouldn't put a heater on the passanger side seat bottom due for the same reason, but actually the wife decided she likes it better with just the back of the seat having the heater in it as that way she can use it during the summer when her back is hurting, i have been thinking of disabling the bottom seat heater on the drivers side as well for the same reason and it doesn't get that cold down in alabama for both the upper and lower heating element....
