  1. check all your rubber tubing in the engine compartment going to the evap canister..
  2. i use the K&N filter as i bought it for my 2011 journey at that time i couldn't find air filter for less than $20 for the journey,( i paid about $40. off amazon and figured after 2 filters i was even) so when i traded the journeyt in i kept it for my 14 crossroad. Since then air filter for the journeys are easier to find and the price has comer down some. and yes cleaning it isn't any problems but you do have to let it dry which takes a while and then re-oil it, no big problem and as Jkeaton has said many claim seeing mpg and or increased horsepower from using it and that is a big laugh as you won't see that...better off switching to syn oil for any benefits....i did buy a K&N cabin air filter which will save you big $$ as them little filters can get expensive and it's just a simple clean it and let it dry or shake it to get rid of excess water and spray with whatever you want to put on it ( i just use some pledge clean and dust) and replace......
  3. LOL yea you can get your hand in there but damn it hurts and YOU will end up with a small scratch or two

There is a benefit in that the life of an HIR1 and HIR2 bulb is about double that of a conventional halogen bulb. Info on HIR bulbs: http://store.candlepower.com/9011hir.html One key on the base of HIR bulbs has to be trimmed to fit into the 9005/9006 receiver. There are templates for this and it is simple to do. I bought mine from candlepowerinc.com The have a deal for a set of 4 bulbs for $70 . . . . . http://store.candlepower.com/hirsponeseto.html A template for trimming the bulb base can be found on this page: http://store.candlepower.com/mohirbuba.html this site was recommended by one of our members
  5. so had to add a little air since the weather has cooled down, have never spent the extra$$ for nitrogen for the tires always have been to cheap ( LOL ) i guess.. so what is everyones take on spending the extra $$ for it......
  6. check out hir bulbs instead of led for the headlights,if i had to do it over think i would have went that route.....
  7. i havent priced our journey rotors but i know on my older caravans it wasn't that much more to buy new from advance auto than it was to turn them and that way you always had new thicker rotors that way...also they can ruin your rotors if they try to take off too much to save time...
  8. yea i have about 64 k on my 2014 and i checked my pads not to long ago and they still looked great.stay safe
  9. the pulsating would be from your rotors, should have them turned to correct the problem the pads are ceramic and are tough on rotors... good luck P.S. 65 k on a 2016 is a lot no wonder you are feeling a little pulsation
  10. i was thinking the same thing, and also where they are from as that can make a big difference
  11. should be but as usual poster didnt state how any miles on it
  12. you need to take it to get the charging system checked before spending any more money you probably have a bad alt if the battery keeps dying..
  13. http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com/ is where i bought mine on line, this is a mopar warranty good anywhere there is a dodge or chrysler dealership. already had to use it once for a oil sending unit , worked out good had a 100. ded plus free rental coverage....
  14. A special sensor system in conjunction with the control algorithms in the Climatronic reduces misting-up of the windows and enhances climatic comfort by managing the humidity levels inside the car. From the data delivered by the humidity and temperature sensor in the base of the interior mirror, the Climatronic control unit calculates the dew point temperature of the air – that is, the temperature at which the air humidity would condense. An infrared sensor remotely measures the radiated heat on the windscreen, and calculates the window temperature. To prevent the windows from misting up, Climatronic regulates the volume of air projected on to the windscreen and, with the compressor switched on, also the air humidity inside the car. Relative humidity based on interior temperature can also be kept at a pleasant level. See also
  15. by the way that little black box behind the mirror at the top of the windshield is a humidity sensor according to the glass shop
  16. no it had just been chipped i guess about half hour earlier and I was still driving home on the interstate when it started running across the windshield new one going in tomorrow... P.S. i seen the chip at the beginning of the crack after i got home, the place replacing the windshield says some cars are just more prone to cracks due to the slant of the window...
  17. here in Alabama the local walmart doesn't carry fram oil filters for the journey, also they dont have any listing for the the battery size for the journey either, went to buy one and they said nope we dont list them so i told them the battery group # and he said well we have that one but it would come without a warranty i just laughed at him and walked away, but as jkeaton said i to have used fram all my life in all my cars and never had a problem with them.....
  18. why not use the mopar filter from the dealership, only cost me about $8. each?? that way there is no question if something goes wrong....
  19. didnt take me forever, but whatever.... less than 10 minutes for all the emblems that i wanted off...
  20. you made it sound hard and expensive to remove the emblems... i used bumper sticker remover from autozone and just sprayed it on and let it set a minute then used my fingernail to lift the edge of the emblem and then sprayed a little more of the spray and slowly removed the emblem then wiped it clean ..done ...easy peasy no heat gun no fishing wire no decal eraser or power drill
  21. well was on a trip and heard a small click but didnt see no crack or chip on the windshield but about an hour later all of a sudden heard a small noise and a crack comes from the side of the drivers side about 6 inches long scared the hell out of me at first and then about 10 minutes later it grows another 6-7 inches right thur the drivers eye line of sight.oh well, hope the insurance company has a sense of humor and doesn't raise my rates, any way it will cost me an other $100. deductible never had any broken windows with my caravans but my journeys are a different story i guess..
  22. it would be a $100, repair for me(my ded on my max care warranty) including my free car rental
