go to the forums page click lighting, check on all different info there.....example led or this The appropriate solution is to fit HIR bulbs - they have the same spread and color, but are 40% brighter than stock for the same wattage. There is a benefit in that the life of an HIR1 and HIR2 bulb is about double that of a conventional halogen bulb. Info on HIR bulbs: http://store.candlepower.com/9011hir.html One key on the base of HIR bulbs has to be trimmed to fit into the 9005/9006 receiver. There are templates for this and it is simple to do. I bought mine from candlepowerinc.com The have a deal for a set of 4 bulbs for $70 . . . . . http://store.candlepower.com/hirsponeseto.html A template for trimming the bulb base can be found on this page: http://store.candlepower.com/mohirbuba.html Edited October 26, 2016 by bramfrank P.S. i have led but if i had to get more i would go with the hir 9012 bulbs

Trailer Tow FLASH (2014 Journey Crossroad)
2late4u replied to sharkbait8574's topic in Hauling & Towing
just measured mine on my 2014 crossroad with the curt hitch.... 13 inches. i use mine for a carrier basket for my wife's 3 wheel scooter it does drag a bit on a steep entrance or exit so i just angle off when i see one of them no big problem tho. just go with the curt wiring, a lot less problems then OEM that is what i will do if i ever need the lights.... -

first the cost, second not many people would worry about this happening. 3rd they would have to have something real solid to attach the d rings to. 4th is the liability when it broke they could be libel for damages in a lawsuit.....i have tried to use the d rings on the rear of my journey to hold a small 3 wheel medical scooter and found out real quick it is attached with a small screw into some thin metal. did not hold,so i lifted the rear cargo deck and installed some small chain with some good size bolts thur the bottom and side of the body frame and was able to cut a small bit of the edge of the cargo board so the chains could come up and attach to the scooter to hold it i used 4 chains and still wasn't to thrilled going 75 mph with that in the back in case of a sudden stop. so after a while i bought a carrier from discount ramps and installed a trailer hitch to carry her scooter... feel a lot safer now..

Ive never had any dealership try to sell me a tracking device for any of my vehicles, never knew one existed or why i would want one. I do know most pay by the week car lots installs them so if the buyer quits paying they can track and repo easier that way...plus if a dodge dealership ever had installed one it would be listed on the service record associated to your vin number...

i assuming you have the 17 tires, try going with a used tire we have shops that have 3/4 tread ($45) and 1/2 tread ($35) mounted and balanced i have bought both at times for my daughters mail vehicle with no problems. or take the chance and go new....good luck

your best info would come from the dodge dealership, good luck with what ever you find out.....

all automobiles from time to time might need alignment.
-
some dealership iv seen lately have a spot in their dealership where they drive the car thur a small lane that has some censers set up that supposedly tell them to tell you that a front end alignment is needed, i wouldn't put to much faith in such measures more of a sales upgrade to me.....

you would be more wise to purchase a extended warranty for your crossroad as transmission and the electronics are very expensive for new cars today , check out the forum on them and the sooner you buy it the cheaper it is. all cars are being built a lot better than they were yrs ago but being in AL i dont worry about salt and chemical that they use on the roads but you might want to add the rustproofing as well, good luck on what ever you decide....

Yet another battery drain thread...
2late4u replied to RamRod78's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
doubt that is the problem as my gamin when it is plug into the outlet in the front dash catch all cubbyhole (what ever you want to call that spot) always goes dead when i turn the ign off there shouldn't be no power to that outlet ,unless you changed the wiring there. actual just went out and checked it and yes no power to that plug unless the ign is on. the dealer should know this......- 5 replies
