  1. you made it sound hard and expensive to remove the emblems... i used bumper sticker remover from autozone and just sprayed it on and let it set a minute then used my fingernail to lift the edge of the emblem and then sprayed a little more of the spray and slowly removed the emblem then wiped it clean ..done ...easy peasy no heat gun no fishing wire no decal eraser or power drill
  2. well was on a trip and heard a small click but didnt see no crack or chip on the windshield but about an hour later all of a sudden heard a small noise and a crack comes from the side of the drivers side about 6 inches long scared the hell out of me at first and then about 10 minutes later it grows another 6-7 inches right thur the drivers eye line of sight.oh well, hope the insurance company has a sense of humor and doesn't raise my rates, any way it will cost me an other $100. deductible never had any broken windows with my caravans but my journeys are a different story i guess..
  3. it would be a $100, repair for me(my ded on my max care warranty) including my free car rental

  9. that had happened to me Dusty not to long ago was wondering WTH is wrong till i thought to check the dimmer switch.... lol P.S. my light dimmer switch is a small wheel switch on the dash panel right behind the wiper switch
  10. you should never remove the thermostat from the engine as that doesn't solve any problems that only is a temporary fix that will cause problems down the road.possible problems is partially clog radiator, bad thermostat, fan not clicking on at the correct time, bad radiator hoses collapsing .you need to get it to a qualified mechanic before you overheat it and ruin your engine....sometimes the cheap comes out the expensive..........
  11. check your owners manual for the limit on the trailer weight. that is what you need to know.... and take it easy
  12. hmm 2011, 6yrs old... the batteries in the valve assy might be going bad. just a thought.....

  14. yes... just google curt hitches and determine if you have reg or led taillights then order it will cost you less than the factory... there are videos on youtube showing how to install the wiring....
  15. if you use the factory wiring you will have to have it flashed at the dealership....if you use the curt wiring kit that is all you have to do.
  16. welcome to the group, my 2011 had the cloth seats and i now have a 2014 crossroad with the leather seats and i actually like the cloth seats better. hope you have many happy years and miles with your journey.......
  17. has to be the wiring as he says the drivers side doesnt work, i would assume the passenger side lights are working okay,I dont believe or have never seen in the manual the ability to turn off the visor lights they can be dimmed but still be on...i also think he needs to find a different mech. should have been to easy to check to see if there was power going to the drivers visor......
  18. welcome, ahh i wouldn't bother with the drilled and slotted rotors, the ones on your journey hold up quite well, I have a 2014 with 62k on it and the pads and rotors look really great even with this mileage but its up to you good luck
  19. look at the seat brackets and see what would involve to have the seat lowered, i found out yrs ago power seats always sit lower than the non powered seats do.finding a seat at a salvaged yard shouldnt be to hard and just have to run power to the cables for it to work dont forget to add inline fuse if you do it.....
  20. most dont know but the manufacture use to have to use a special rivet to attache them to your car. i worked at chrysler and was at the van plant doing Q.C. on the line and all of a sudden i noticed the rivets were silver and a round shape instead of the normal dark colored one with a odd shape, they had to change out about 100 of them, reg guy was out sick and some how they started using the wrong rivets....lol
