  1. just thought i throw out there that discount Tire online is offering extra discounts on their tires for the 4th of July sale they do it for all the holidays so if you need tires i bought my last set from them and i was impressed that they were delivered withing 5 days of when i ordered them and i checked the manufacture date on them and they had just been made a month before i bought them. you pay full price but they are offering 2 mail in rebates and if you apply and use their credit card its an extra $60. off the price, i didnt get the tire warranty but that is up to you if you want it.... and on our big size tires (19 inch) they will save you a lot of money
  2. sometimes on difficult repaired or maintenance its best to go by with dealership service center and that way should there be a problem or question its on them, yes i know it will cost you extra $$$ but might be worth it in my mind....i do all my little jobs like oil changes and such but i did pay the dealer to do the transmission fluid change and i did do it early but wanted it on record since i bought the max yrs and miles warranty,, just my 2 cents worth......
  3. yes they will stay on full high beam, you will have to turn off the drl if you go led on brights...
  4. LOL...... that is some expensive led lights.....
  5. just went and checked mine on mu 14 crossroad with curt hitch and mine are tightened tight, and the rear bolt does have more threads showing then what he has and also the 2nd from the rear also. maybe he took the picks before the final tight torque. i hope so anyway, lol. also i did go back about 2 weeks after install and checked my torque on the nuts okay for me.....
  6. take it back to who did the work and see if they see the problem ( pinched wires or something damaged) good luck
  7. yea them rubber hangers are a tad hard to get off at first just lube them up with dish soap and water or spray some wd40 and get to prying them off.....
  8. would assume it should be straight, but why not check with the dodge dealership they should be the experts on it
  9. best place to check would be a dodge dealership lot, but i dont believe that little flap could cause a check engine light as it doesn't fit tight enough to create a seal , think you need to look for a different problem . good luck
  10. i quit using ramps yrs ago also, bought me a good floor jack and just use the jack stands....
  11. go to the forums page click lighting, check on all different info there.....example led or this The appropriate solution is to fit HIR bulbs - they have the same spread and color, but are 40% brighter than stock for the same wattage. There is a benefit in that the life of an HIR1 and HIR2 bulb is about double that of a conventional halogen bulb. Info on HIR bulbs: http://store.candlepower.com/9011hir.html One key on the base of HIR bulbs has to be trimmed to fit into the 9005/9006 receiver. There are templates for this and it is simple to do. I bought mine from candlepowerinc.com The have a deal for a set of 4 bulbs for $70 . . . . . http://store.candlepower.com/hirsponeseto.html A template for trimming the bulb base can be found on this page: http://store.candlepower.com/mohirbuba.html Edited October 26, 2016 by bramfrank P.S. i have led but if i had to get more i would go with the hir 9012 bulbs
  12. just measured mine on my 2014 crossroad with the curt hitch.... 13 inches. i use mine for a carrier basket for my wife's 3 wheel scooter it does drag a bit on a steep entrance or exit so i just angle off when i see one of them no big problem tho. just go with the curt wiring, a lot less problems then OEM that is what i will do if i ever need the lights....
  13. welcome to the group, look thur the forums for lots of good info
  14. i wouldn't bother getting the rears from weather tech but i love the looks of the the front ones ,better then the stick on kind....
  15. also could be bad connector or bad wires or loose or corroded wiring.....
  16. lawn trash bags at lowes would work for you all
  17. just go to your dealership and ask them they will show you where it is located on the engine in there parts manual....
  18. BUT as i said If a dodge dealership installed it,it would be listed on the service record so it was done by a third party not dodge......well none of my last 5 new cars i have bought i was given the hard sell as you say, guess i dont deal with that type of dealers....
  19. glad you got the problem fixed, kind of like a computer sometimes you just have to reboot.....Cars are getting so complicated and with some many computers and electronics in them and with more to come......sure i want a car that drives itself NOT i dont even want an electric one......
  20. click on forums then click wheels and tires and look for info on what you want.good luck

    Howdy

looks great and know you will love it, i am on my 2nd journey......2011 main street ,now a 2014 crossroad.....
  22. first the cost, second not many people would worry about this happening. 3rd they would have to have something real solid to attach the d rings to. 4th is the liability when it broke they could be libel for damages in a lawsuit.....i have tried to use the d rings on the rear of my journey to hold a small 3 wheel medical scooter and found out real quick it is attached with a small screw into some thin metal. did not hold,so i lifted the rear cargo deck and installed some small chain with some good size bolts thur the bottom and side of the body frame and was able to cut a small bit of the edge of the cargo board so the chains could come up and attach to the scooter to hold it i used 4 chains and still wasn't to thrilled going 75 mph with that in the back in case of a sudden stop. so after a while i bought a carrier from discount ramps and installed a trailer hitch to carry her scooter... feel a lot safer now..
