  1. welcome to the group, look thur the forums for lots of good info
  2. i wouldn't bother getting the rears from weather tech but i love the looks of the the front ones ,better then the stick on kind....
  3. also could be bad connector or bad wires or loose or corroded wiring.....
  4. lawn trash bags at lowes would work for you all
  5. just go to your dealership and ask them they will show you where it is located on the engine in there parts manual....
  6. BUT as i said If a dodge dealership installed it,it would be listed on the service record so it was done by a third party not dodge......well none of my last 5 new cars i have bought i was given the hard sell as you say, guess i dont deal with that type of dealers....
  7. glad you got the problem fixed, kind of like a computer sometimes you just have to reboot.....Cars are getting so complicated and with some many computers and electronics in them and with more to come......sure i want a car that drives itself NOT i dont even want an electric one......
  8. click on forums then click wheels and tires and look for info on what you want.good luck

    Howdy

looks great and know you will love it, i am on my 2nd journey......2011 main street ,now a 2014 crossroad.....
  10. first the cost, second not many people would worry about this happening. 3rd they would have to have something real solid to attach the d rings to. 4th is the liability when it broke they could be libel for damages in a lawsuit.....i have tried to use the d rings on the rear of my journey to hold a small 3 wheel medical scooter and found out real quick it is attached with a small screw into some thin metal. did not hold,so i lifted the rear cargo deck and installed some small chain with some good size bolts thur the bottom and side of the body frame and was able to cut a small bit of the edge of the cargo board so the chains could come up and attach to the scooter to hold it i used 4 chains and still wasn't to thrilled going 75 mph with that in the back in case of a sudden stop. so after a while i bought a carrier from discount ramps and installed a trailer hitch to carry her scooter... feel a lot safer now..
  11. Ive never had any dealership try to sell me a tracking device for any of my vehicles, never knew one existed or why i would want one. I do know most pay by the week car lots installs them so if the buyer quits paying they can track and repo easier that way...plus if a dodge dealership ever had installed one it would be listed on the service record associated to your vin number...
  12. i assuming you have the 17 tires, try going with a used tire we have shops that have 3/4 tread ($45) and 1/2 tread ($35) mounted and balanced i have bought both at times for my daughters mail vehicle with no problems. or take the chance and go new....good luck
  13. your best info would come from the dodge dealership, good luck with what ever you find out.....

    Rolly

    prayers for his family....
  15. all automobiles from time to time might need alignment.
  16. some dealership iv seen lately have a spot in their dealership where they drive the car thur a small lane that has some censers set up that supposedly tell them to tell you that a front end alignment is needed, i wouldn't put to much faith in such measures more of a sales upgrade to me.....
  17. you would be more wise to purchase a extended warranty for your crossroad as transmission and the electronics are very expensive for new cars today , check out the forum on them and the sooner you buy it the cheaper it is. all cars are being built a lot better than they were yrs ago but being in AL i dont worry about salt and chemical that they use on the roads but you might want to add the rustproofing as well, good luck on what ever you decide....
  18. doubt that is the problem as my gamin when it is plug into the outlet in the front dash catch all cubbyhole (what ever you want to call that spot) always goes dead when i turn the ign off there shouldn't be no power to that outlet ,unless you changed the wiring there. actual just went out and checked it and yes no power to that plug unless the ign is on. the dealer should know this......
  19. Steve please reply after you find out if its covered i would say it would be but not sure which ext. warranty you bought......good luck
  20. just check out some more 2017 on the dealers lot simple.......
  21. so actually why is a compass that important? i know where ever i am headed which way it is. both my 2011 and 2014 have a compass and to be honest i have never needed it,of course i dont go off road or thur the woods, so guess it might come in handy there....
  22. mine is being behind a long busy stretch of cars all going 70 -80- and of course the guy along side of you wanting you to slow down just enough so he can NASCAR around you so you have to slam on your brakes and maybe cause an accident.
  23. well i also have a 2014 crossroad with 58 k on it no problems with my rotors just checked my pads and they look like over half the pads are still left, never had any problems with my sunglass console on any either of my journeys, sometimes my trans gives me a hesitation once in a while like it is trying to find the gear for the speed i am going doesn't worry me a bit. my divers seat every so often might move back or forward a quarter of an inch just enough for me to feel and then it doesn't do it again for a long time so no big deal, my dealership is great so i would suggest to find a different dealer as you are not tied to the one you bought from. i pass up the closest dodge dealership to me ( as they are they worst dealership) to go to. the one i like and have bought most of my vehicles from over the years is about 10 miles furthest but worth the drive. glad you like your journey as i really love mine.
