  1. never had that happen to my journey but years ago up in st. louis while at work a sleet and snow storm came in and when i went to leave my caravan rear wheels wouldn't turn, got out and looked and thought wth, so just got back in hit the brakes couple of times then put it in reverse didnt break loose so i just put it in gear and hit the gas the rear tires drag for about 10 feet then broke loose and all was fine, checked the rear drums and pads about a month later when i got home and better weather and there was no damage...
  2. dealership parts man would be your best info on if they have just the harness and what ever else you would need.

  5. looks great , tell him to be careful...
  6. yes most of the time i dont try to use the auto fill lever on the pump, i squeeze the trigger myself and when it clicks off and i still want to put in more i pull the pump nozzle out a little bit and lift the back side of the pump handle up so it shoots the gas in at a more down fashion i can usually get in another half gallon or so in. there has been a lot of discussion about this on this forum,i dont think it would not qualify for the lemon law. lol and to be fair ALL the different car manufactures have different problems and you would NEVER buy another vehicle if they listed all the problems big or small that they have with the car they are trying to sell to you.
  7. why use something you are not sure of , you probably paid as much or more then you could have bought a mopar oil filter from the dealership or even cheaper off the internet. that way you KNOW it is the correct part and covered under the dodge warranty in case something should happen. good luck on what you find out and decided to use......
  8. front or rear where does the noise sound likeit is coming from? put it up on jacks all 4 wheels in case you have awd then turn the car on put the wheels in motion and listen at each wheel for noise, you could go to most brake shops they usually will check your vec. for free just hoping they find something so they can fix it. just get a price if they tell you what is wrong first so you know what it will cost. good luck
  9. you only have one part per side, i am thinking of adding a drop of silicone to help anchor it on where it doesn't touch any grease.
  10. check with your service manger at your dealership to ask and answer your concerns they know best..
  11. just checked he could get a lifetime yrs and mileage $100 ded. mopar for around $2580. bumper to bumper..
  12. doesn't hurt to add some power steering fluid as they come with the minimum from the factory also checking into the forum on power steering whine and hose problems i heard their is a service bulliten or recall on this for Canada folks good luck.
  13. my 2011 mainstreet had that in it ,wish my 2014 had it also dont see why getting one from a salvage yard wouldn't work,as all it needs is a power to it...
  14. http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com/ check out this site for mopar warranty i got mine from them and was a lot better deal then froma local dfealer... just plug in your info and you will get a quote right away... as always it depends on how long you plan on keeping your journey i plan to run the wheels off my 2014 so i bought the max unlimited miles and yrs plan with a $100 ded. and at 40k my oil sending unit went bad while out of town so went to a dodge dealer and they said yes i was covered so they gave me a free rental car and took about 4-5 later they called and said its fixed they said it would have cost about 450 -500 with the rental car without the warranty.glad i bought it. i paid about $2200 for my warranty..
  15. it snaps onto the seat rail at the front end on the right side it would be on the outside or right side and the drivers on the outside or left side rail. it to protect you from getting scratched or getting your pants leg or dress from getting snagged on the end of the seat bracket that connects to the floor bracket...be careful putting it back on they break easy
  16. just for kicks i check lkq parts and 3.6 with about 51k goes for about $1800. U.S. then you have labor charges and extras.... and as usually you are buying a pig in a poke as you dont really know how great the used engine is compared to a rebuilt or new but is a lot cheaper.
  17. what is up with all these post with missing sentences? is it the posters or the site.. bet its the new format messing up
  18. not normal take it back to the dealership since you are covered on the warranty. i really dont like the 10-15 second delay before the camera comes on it should be an instant thing... sometimes if i start it up and shift real quick the camera comes on before the warning does... i bet there is a way to disable the warning instructions. as the engineers that design stuff usually leaves a way to get rid of it..
  19. havent had no real problems but liked the old forum better....i have a chrome desk top computer
  20. dealership will be the most expensive place to have it checked or fixed ,find a good mechanic as you probably will need a used engine from the scrap yard or an aftermarket engine. sorry it happened but i always check my oil at least every two weeks or less. by the time the gages or idiot light tells you anything its to late..only takes less than a few minutes to check your oil , antifreeze levels......muy daughters drives a postal route. and i check her vehicles because she doesn't seem to remember to do it, have caught hers several times being low on oil and antifreeze....
