  1. i would use only the plugs what the car calls for, and even for what little the plugs would cost if they are easy to do i would do that also in a heart beat as if you take the car into a shop that will be the first thing they will want to do anyways..
  2. this subject has been beat to death cjeck the forums for them , but i use mopar filters and syn. oil have been using it for yrs.
  3. probally the pads getting worn done easy to change out, just pull your rear wheel and look at the edge of the pad.
  4. so take it to a different dodge dealership and see what they say,get everything they say in writing and keep the paperwork and start working from there. and since you have the extended warranty have it verified from several dealers and then work your way up the food chain from there and be calm and polite and if someone says their is nothing they can do ask for the next higher person in charge,
  5. agree with dhh3 run several cans of it thur with different tanks of gas took time building up and will take some time getting them clean if it works might be to gunked up and require injector cleaning.
  6. the visors i have in my 2014 were the ones from my 2011 journey and they are weather tech. easy to put in and easy to take out no tape or glue used on the front visors, the rear visors are held in by tape and mine wouldn't stay in so i never used them.weather tech visors are the best. look sleek and last a long time. i see so many taped on or glued on ones that are broke and some of it still stuck around some of the window.
  7. just rechecked my sticker says my engine made in Mexico they also make them in Trenton Mi also trans come from USA. hope our journeys made on day shift at least.. and not on Fri or Sat. oh oh just checked they were built on a Monday (4/14) workers hung over and or Temps working......
  8. lol just checked my build date and it was on 4/14.... what are the odds of that or is that just a made up date they use......of course the engine manufacture date would be earlier due to transportation reasons and storage..
  9. run a couple of bottles of chevron gas treatment thur your gas tank before tearing anything apart. it keeps my truck running great as i dont drive it a lot it is what my mechanic recommended to do every 6 months or so worth a try....

  12. dont think he rec a letter just read about one, sounds like his power train warranty taking care of him.
  13. so what was the issue? was the battery leaking?
  14. my aunt had a crown vic and didnt hardly drive it because she wanted it to last a long time well after 1 1/2 yrs it wouldn't start so she had it towed into the dealership and they laughed and told her you only have 900 miles on it. you have to drive it enough to keep it charged up or it will go bad LOL after that she drove it more often. i dont think that is what happened here but like i said i never had much luck with the org battery.if you have advance auto stores up there go on retailmenot.com and click on advance auto coupons you will get one worth $40. off anything over $105. i always get the best one cost about $130. with the 40 off drops it down to less than 100 and the last one i put in my truck was from there and that was about 6yrs ago...
  15. well on the 2011 you couldn't add the rear camera to your journey it was almost a yr later that it then became available to have it added and i had checked several dealers about the back up camera right after buying it....but that is history....
  16. ive never had great luck with the org batteries, replaced my 2011 just before i traded in for my 2014 crossroad it did have 60 k on it when it started going bad traded when it had about 70k... i wouldn't get it replaced at the dealership....
  17. yrs ago my dad had a clear bug deflector for a while and then wanted it to match his van so he cleaned it real good and then painted the back side of it and it looked great and the paint never chipped since it was on the back side....

  20. well thats good but when i drive 100mph i usually have my windows up and the air on......LOL
  21. i always buy the weather tech, in channel kind, just looks a lot better and great quality.NOW that said dont buy the 4 window set as the rear window ones dont stay in the channel like the front ones do unless you glue or modified them i bought them and after a long trip cross country was only going about 20-30 mph i rolled the rear right window down a bout 4 -5 inches and whoop out it flew... oh well stop and got it but later on i just pulled the other one out. WOW just checked their price up there for you Canadians i only paid about $90 for the 4 window set and found out later could have got the fronts for just less then half of that. You guys get hosed on everything up there.....
