just wondering why some cars have the rear caliper on the back side of the rotor and others put it more forward side? is it the difference in front wheel drive vs rear wheel drive or just their preference?

don't know if you know how long you are going to keep it? but since dodge shortened the powerplant warranty you might want to buy a extended warranty i plan to run the wheels off this mine, check out the post for warranties might be a good investment if you plan to keep it a long time..- 14 replies

Airbag light on and no blowers

make double sure when pluging them back in they got put back in correctly and seated correctly. yrs ago my son was messing around with his fuse box in his camaro and comes inside and said dad my car wont run right i went outside and got to looking and he told me what he was doing so i checked the fuses and everything looked okay i pulled some of them out and put them back in to make sure they weren't blown every thing looked okay never could figure it out, ended up taking it to a mechanic and about $300,(plugs and wires and labor) he called and said the car was fixed...ended up being one fuse on the fuel injectors when it got pushed back in, the pin had got bent just enough it was slipping behind the slot it was supposed to slid into.... so check and make sure you got all your connections right ....good luck.... -

any repair at the dealership with dealer parts are usually covered 12 months 12k miles in U.S. not sure about how much coverage is in canada. you need to ask these questions when you go in next time so you will understand your rights...

well you have 3yr and ? km. in the U.S. its 3 yr and 36k miles maybe you are still in warranty if they are doing work for free. you might have a 30 day warranty since you bought it used from them... find out what you have and take advantage of it......

i would have went right back in and told the sales personal that i wanted to talk to the head guy and i would have been talking in a very loud and authoritative voice so all could hear, sometimes the squeaky wheel gets attention quicker that way....

well why didnt you turn right around thats what i would have done. any way take it back and show them what its doing. good luck

the wire shown above the bracket is for most electrical connectors for most trailers, the bracket is for a different kind of trailer connector.perhaps if you are not sure what you need go back to your dealer for a explanation for you question. my truck has a built in connector that holds a adapter that reduces into the 4 wire connector that you have above your bracket that then connects to my flat plug from my trailer...hope this doesn't confuse you any more....

i have asked my dealership when i should change my trans fluid as i have 33k on it and he said do it now or before 60k i said well the book says it should be done at 100k and he said after a little hmm hawing well do it then, they would always after doing a oil change put a sticker on saying next oil change 3k miles down the road. the point is the dealer is always trying to make extra money. P.S. i do plan on doing the trans at around 60 k anyway just as i do my oil changes before the light comes on telling me around 6k or so
