car unlocking itself
2late4u replied to 2late4u's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs, Locks & Remote Start
just got home from the movies locked the car manually as i got out shut the door half way inside the garage beep beep beep. oh well if you tell the dealer they just hand you a piece of paper with a bunch of nonsense on it about what or why it does it and they half to see it do it or they cant fix it. does it every once in a while so i don't worry about it. and no the wife's keys were in the house 30 feet away no other fob near it and the not a full moon out so guess ill just live with it.... -
might want to buy a 2015 instead of 2016 .they dropped the powertrain warranty to lower miles and yr on the 2016 and by getting a 2015 you should get a lot better discount and rebate than the 16. same features on both yrs . just a thought....

depends on how you drive when i goose it while driving in town driving ONLY and we have a small town about 4-5 lights i avg 17-19 but if i throw in some hwy cruising with it i avg 21-22 interstate driving depending on which way the elevation is 24-30 of course this is the evic readings which is never exactly right , the only real way to check your REAL mpg is to do several tanks of gas compared to you distance driven which most drivers very rarely check..if you are getting 35mpg you are not driving in a normal fashion if you have the 3.6 unless its all down hill and you are hyper-mileing.

Barbera's Autoland in Philly
2late4u replied to priell3's topic in Buying, Leasing, Ordering & Competing Products
i used to buy all vehicles from the local dodge dealer in decatur al which is the closest one about 10 miles, then they closed and reopened and the new owners are a bunch of idiots so i give all business to cullman dodge dealership which is 15-20 ,miles away but they take real good care of me so far bought my last 3 dodges from them. so sometimes you have to travel a little farther to get the service you want. -
looks great and looks like you got a great price on it. Welcome to the group and yes it really is a little bit overpowered, would get better mpg with a smaller v6 but its nice to have that pickup and go when you need it, be carefull you dont get a speeding ticket as you will not notice you are speeding with the great ride it gives... P.S. are you in the military and if so we all appreciate your service and take care..

Spark Plug Change, Need New Intake Gaskets
2late4u replied to onecrazyfoo4u's topic in Engine & Transmission
true they are higher priced BUT on a lot of the parts they are a better quality then you get down the street,my dad found that out with an alternator for his van yrs ago, the after market ones didnt hold up and he finally used a mopar alternator and never had any more problems with it -
one great source for info is in the manual.

Random Chime During Hard Braking
2late4u replied to lytefall's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
nope -
so much has been written on here about tire size but several have had the 255-50-19 mounted on their crossroad journeys so you should be good to go. different size tires will not void your warranty but you might have some problems getting them mounted as a lot of tire shops will only replace with what the manufacture recommends for the vec... check out the forums for pics on your questions as they have pics of them installed on a journey. i will be doing the same come spring time as of right now i have about 31500 on my 2014 crossroad and the Kumos are about half or a little more wore down.... trying to decide if i want to go to the bigger size or stay with the rec size as what they look like doesn't really bother me and going to the max size might be a problem down the line not sure......read this post for pics Finally, My Crossroad Looks Like The Chicago Show Crossro...

well i had a 2011 with the 17 inch rims and was always having to clean brake dust off them all the time but with my 2014 crossroad with the 19 inch rims i hardly see any of the dust .sure do love that about them. i have about 31 k on these tires and they look like they are about 1/2 to 3/4 used up,so will be able to get thur the winter here in al but will be needing them come spring time. glad i also bought the maximum lifetime warranty on this journey even thou i haven't had no problems with it. went about 75k on my 2011 and had only one small hiccup with it. Forbes mag. rated the journey as a bad car to buy but i think they really didnt know what they were talking about a big vehicle that gets 25-30 on the road ill take that every time....

2016 dodge journey- rear doors
2late4u replied to devo13's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs, Locks & Remote Start
first check your manual to see if the rear doors have child resistant locks, usually a little switch on the jamb when you open them and of course you could always take it back to your dealer since you just got it. -
