the wire shown above the bracket is for most electrical connectors for most trailers, the bracket is for a different kind of trailer connector.perhaps if you are not sure what you need go back to your dealer for a explanation for you question. my truck has a built in connector that holds a adapter that reduces into the 4 wire connector that you have above your bracket that then connects to my flat plug from my trailer...hope this doesn't confuse you any more....

i have asked my dealership when i should change my trans fluid as i have 33k on it and he said do it now or before 60k i said well the book says it should be done at 100k and he said after a little hmm hawing well do it then, they would always after doing a oil change put a sticker on saying next oil change 3k miles down the road. the point is the dealer is always trying to make extra money. P.S. i do plan on doing the trans at around 60 k anyway just as i do my oil changes before the light comes on telling me around 6k or so

just checked ebay for 2014 3.6 oil filter cheapest was about $7.75 for 6 filters next deal figured out to 54.95 for 6 =$9. each ill just get mine at the dealer i pay about $8 with my discount.

did i miss something after watching the video it looked like they did help with the air flow but the video said itself after fuel mph test no improvement seen, so the cost vs no improvement equals minus investment..

local tire shop has some 245 45 19 take offs that look really good says he would let me have a set of 4 for $250. mounted and balanced... checked the tire calculator and they would act be a tad smaller than org tires 225 55 19, would throw the speed off about 2 or 2.5 at 70 mph he said a lot of camaro guys upgrading to bigger tires is why he gets them has about 7 tires 2 of them look almost new the rest about 3/4 tread left on them...

to be honest i've seen some places that charge more for their oil filter than what the dodge dealer charges for it. but either way shouldn't be more than $12. max also be careful about which oil filter they use, the 3.6 uses different filters depending on which year vehicle you have. quick change or small oil change places MAY not know this... check with your dodge dealership and they will show you the difference in them... my 2014 3.6 takes a different one than my 2011 3.6 did......

when you say index fingernail do you mean the nail like 1/16 inch or your finger and nail.seems if your clearance is that close you would scrape or rub on the bracket when hitting bumps.... that is real tight... any chance of a pic showing the tire and the strut bracket for how close????

hmm why not ask your dodge dealership...

i believe he has tried that already and there is nothing left of the bolt head ....

all i know is you have to have your fob on you if you want to lock or unlock the rear hatch so i would say the switch has some intelligent as you would call it. more like a bad wire as you say since you have seen some flickering of the lights..other than that?????

egr valves usually make your vehicle stall and or stutter never heard of one leaking coolant.

i think she needs to take it into a component mech and let him tell her what is wrong as i don't think with the info any one on here can point to a single mech problem without seeing the vehicle.

well i got close to 60k on my 17 inch kuhmos never had any problem with them, i have a 2014 now with the 19 inch kumhos and have about 33k on these but they are getting close to the tread bar and one of them is almost there, don't know why that one wore more then the others as it is evenly wore across the whole tread. anyways that is what i've experienced with both of my journeys rotated the tires every oil change and not a lot of so called city driving and a lot of interstate travel. always keep my tires at about 37 psi. Would have like to have got more wear out of this last set don't know if its because of them being a bigger size or what. What size are your tires? and when you do change you will have to go to a bigger size ( If you have the 19) to get a lot of different kinds of tires to pick from......

was 25 degrees yesterday and mine a a yelp for about 2 seconds also had a appointment at my dealer to have a plastic door sill replaced so drove up there and the part they got in was wrong and i had asked about the noise and gave them the number of the service bulliten and as usual they say will it make the noise NOW and i said no it only happens when first started and is real cold so they tell well we have to hear it so you will have to leave it with us to check tomorrow if you want...oh well
