Random Chime During Hard Braking

so much has been written on here about tire size but several have had the 255-50-19 mounted on their crossroad journeys so you should be good to go. different size tires will not void your warranty but you might have some problems getting them mounted as a lot of tire shops will only replace with what the manufacture recommends for the vec... check out the forums for pics on your questions as they have pics of them installed on a journey. i will be doing the same come spring time as of right now i have about 31500 on my 2014 crossroad and the Kumos are about half or a little more wore down.... trying to decide if i want to go to the bigger size or stay with the rec size as what they look like doesn't really bother me and going to the max size might be a problem down the line not sure......read this post for pics Finally, My Crossroad Looks Like The Chicago Show Crossro...

well i had a 2011 with the 17 inch rims and was always having to clean brake dust off them all the time but with my 2014 crossroad with the 19 inch rims i hardly see any of the dust .sure do love that about them. i have about 31 k on these tires and they look like they are about 1/2 to 3/4 used up,so will be able to get thur the winter here in al but will be needing them come spring time. glad i also bought the maximum lifetime warranty on this journey even thou i haven't had no problems with it. went about 75k on my 2011 and had only one small hiccup with it. Forbes mag. rated the journey as a bad car to buy but i think they really didnt know what they were talking about a big vehicle that gets 25-30 on the road ill take that every time....

2016 dodge journey- rear doors
2late4u replied to devo13's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs, Locks & Remote Start
first check your manual to see if the rear doors have child resistant locks, usually a little switch on the jamb when you open them and of course you could always take it back to your dealer since you just got it. -

Manufacturer:Mopar Part Number:55111389AF Part:HUMIDITY SENSOR Replaces:55111389AD, 55111389AE don't think any journeys have turbos but i could be wrong, I was twice in my life according to my ex-wifes.

Fiat Chrysler also is recalling 275,614 Dodge Journey crossovers from model years 2012-15 in the United States to replace some parts of their anti-lock brake systems. Water intrusion may disable the vehicles' anti-lock braking and electronic stability control systems, the company said.

got almost 30k on my 19 inch kuhmo tires and they look like they about half wore out although i do a lot of interstate driving and that is where the journey gets the best mpg. city driving will get a lot worse mpg. funny thing about my rear tires seam to be wearing down faster then the front,i do rotate them

My insurance co calls my journey a Sport Wagon , not cuv or suv
2late4u replied to Billy Billy's topic in Owner Impressions
it could mean a difference in the price of your ins the way they classify it. my ins calls mine a truck also -
well got back yesterday had a great time.had a bad run of poker results but that's life i guess, the trip round trip was 4450 miles and used 157 gal of gas avg out to 28.34 mpg not bad considering 2 adults and luggage and a 3 wheel scooter tossed in the back got caught in 2 bad hail storms on the way home thought the windows were going to bust out was surprised to find only one small ding on the roof and if you look real hard you can see several other real small ones nothing bad though. while we were in vegas the car was saying only getting about 13mpg with all the stop and go driving and the red light waiting.so with out that tank of gas mpg would have been a lot higher.the traffic out there in vegas was really terrible they drive like idiots and you really have to drive defensively or you will be in an accident for sure. the journey drove great with only one hiccup and that was on the way back it said i was headed n/w and i knew i was going east so i checked the settings and went to the compass and did the relearning thing by driving in a full circle after pushing the button and that fixed it right away had to laugh on that one. almost got 30k on it and only had it about 1yr and 5 months. glad i bought the unlimited yrs and unlimited mile warranty, plan on getting my moneys worth out of it....

Remote start question
2late4u replied to Roadking98's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs, Locks & Remote Start
sounds like a trip to the dealership to confirm that you do have it and then if you cant get the right fob from who you bought your journey you will have to buy one good luck -
well i understand now why some journey owners complain about mpg. all the driving around vegas and waiting at the stop lights we are getting about 15 mpg and man do they drive crazy here. having a great time and watching all the half naked ladies walk around....l see alot of journeys out here also..

well got into vegas and hooked up to the free wifi. so far havent had much luck but having a great time. took about 3days driving out about 1800 miles kept track of the gas and avg 25.5 overall with 2 people a medical scooternand 2 heavy suitcases the evic was saying we were getting anywhere from 28mpg to 25mpg per fill up but checking it to gallons into mileage was avg of 25.5 which i was happy with as going out i believe the elavation is agaisnt us hope to get a little better going home.oh well having a great time and the people out here in vegas are like wow, love how the ladies dress or hardly dress see you all later.....

leaving in the morning from al and will stop in Tunica MS for the day and night (free room) and then will stop in Oklahoma City and then Albuquerque NM at Rt 66 casino and then hit Laughlin the next afternoon and stay 4-5 nites then up to Vegas for about 25 (free nights) nights then back home the same way. did my synthetic oil change last week top off my air pressure to 37 psi as the fall weather just hit us and my tires dropped about 3-4 psi whole trip should be about 4500 miles. Oh and by the way the free nights are sometimes not always free LOL might even buy some scratch off tickets on the way also.

you probably have a bent or warped rim, it can happen from curb rash like dhh3 said rotate your fronts to rear and if you still have the problem have the rims checked they have tools to check that. i seen cars going down the road in front of me and the rear wheel will just be shaking and wobbling.

just take your headrest off the second row seats, did mine the first day i had it.they have a 2 buttons at the base and then just yank them up they will come out....have them sitting in the closet along side the rear cover that i don't use..
