  1. got almost 30k on my 19 inch kuhmo tires and they look like they about half wore out although i do a lot of interstate driving and that is where the journey gets the best mpg. city driving will get a lot worse mpg. funny thing about my rear tires seam to be wearing down faster then the front,i do rotate them
  2. it could mean a difference in the price of your ins the way they classify it. my ins calls mine a truck also

    vegas bound

well got back yesterday had a great time.had a bad run of poker results but that's life i guess, the trip round trip was 4450 miles and used 157 gal of gas avg out to 28.34 mpg not bad considering 2 adults and luggage and a 3 wheel scooter tossed in the back got caught in 2 bad hail storms on the way home thought the windows were going to bust out was surprised to find only one small ding on the roof and if you look real hard you can see several other real small ones nothing bad though. while we were in vegas the car was saying only getting about 13mpg with all the stop and go driving and the red light waiting.so with out that tank of gas mpg would have been a lot higher.the traffic out there in vegas was really terrible they drive like idiots and you really have to drive defensively or you will be in an accident for sure. the journey drove great with only one hiccup and that was on the way back it said i was headed n/w and i knew i was going east so i checked the settings and went to the compass and did the relearning thing by driving in a full circle after pushing the button and that fixed it right away had to laugh on that one. almost got 30k on it and only had it about 1yr and 5 months. glad i bought the unlimited yrs and unlimited mile warranty, plan on getting my moneys worth out of it....
  4. sounds like a trip to the dealership to confirm that you do have it and then if you cant get the right fob from who you bought your journey you will have to buy one good luck

  6. sounds like its time to find a new dealership as the way you talk about it and their mech.

leaving in the morning from al and will stop in Tunica MS for the day and night (free room) and then will stop in Oklahoma City and then Albuquerque NM at Rt 66 casino and then hit Laughlin the next afternoon and stay 4-5 nites then up to Vegas for about 25 (free nights) nights then back home the same way. did my synthetic oil change last week top off my air pressure to 37 psi as the fall weather just hit us and my tires dropped about 3-4 psi whole trip should be about 4500 miles. Oh and by the way the free nights are sometimes not always free LOL might even buy some scratch off tickets on the way also.
  9. you probably have a bent or warped rim, it can happen from curb rash like dhh3 said rotate your fronts to rear and if you still have the problem have the rims checked they have tools to check that. i seen cars going down the road in front of me and the rear wheel will just be shaking and wobbling.
  10. just take your headrest off the second row seats, did mine the first day i had it.they have a 2 buttons at the base and then just yank them up they will come out....have them sitting in the closet along side the rear cover that i don't use..
  11. this topic has been beat to death WHY start an other one??????
  12. have to ask why did you have it done at two different places?
  13. considering he is trading in a car that wont pass inspection. the dealer are always going to ask a higher price on their car as they always do.
  14. i checked my dealer for the remote start he wanted about $525. parts and labor . but i didnt do it.
  15. good point lobitz68. but it sometimes happened with me already out of the car and then the wife getting out her side and she is pushing the lock button and i am at the rear of the car probably couple of feet away from the vehicle. And she doesn't have her key with her.. oh well i am not worried about it as when it does it i always just use the key fob to lock it at least it is beeping to let me know it is unlocked. Cars are becoming like computers full of bugs and glitches and cant always be explained.....
  16. same for me as aukfan33 has said. also i dont have a smart phone just a old flip phone that version keeps wanting me to upgrade.LOL
  17. well we load my wife's 3 wheel med scooter in the back and was using the two tie down rings that are near the hatch to help secure with some small chain ,but was always wondering how much it would take to yank them out well i found out couple of days ago. had to make a panic stop and the left one pulled out and after i looked it over it is only attached with a thin screw into what looks like a spring clip that they push over a hole. Ended up removing the rear plastic cover over where the hatch locks and drilled a hole at each side and attached a chain with a big screw about 1/4 inch big, no way to get a nut on the other side but it tightened down real good so hope that will help secure it
  18. my 2011 came up with a code with something about the transmission after i was backing out of my daughters long straight driveway as i was hot rodding it backward, took it to the dealership and they said the transmissions do this sometimes kind of like computer error as they said there was no problem with the trans. oh well thats when i saw my future 2014 crossroad and bought it that day...what a sales ploy LOL
  19. looks okay but think i like the black better..

    Trim issues

    no problems with my crossroad
  22. no diesel engines over here in U.S.A.good luck
  23. has the battery been checked any parts store can do it for you. no mention of age of the battery either. i would be replacing that before any thing else is done especially if its more than 2-3 yrs old..all these new cars have electronics that draw low power when turned off and make sure you don't have a rear light on that you might not be noticing. also make sure all cable connections are clean and tight....
  24. i always have them use the plug that has a patch built into it double protection. sometimes just a plug can fail and come out, usually cost around $20 as they have to break the tire down as vs just plugging it on the rim. i once bought a used truck tire that had a plug patch on the side wall near the tread never had any problem with it of course i didnt drive like a mad man with it and i made sure it was on the rear just in case...
  25. every one will jump on me for this but unless the nail is in the sidewall,as long as it is in the tread part, if you can find some one to plug-patch it you can use it on the rear tire within normal reason. have done it many times. problem is finding a station that will fix it for you. other than that buy some new tires its up to you. good luck.....
