  1. maxes out at 38.dam never had my radio higher then 23 and i am hard of hearing LOL
  2. i would just wait a while and when you take a trip to another town or state go by the local dealership and have them do it.it dosent take but about 5 minutes if the tech knows what he is doing shouldnt cost you no more than 30-50 $$ at the most my dealer did it for free since i bought the car from them of course their was some problems finding a tech that knew how to do it....
  3. Ray to bad the old plant closed down you probably could have got a new one in a day or so and then they could have checked out the bad one for research sure do miss going into work there. when you have a job that you enjoy and people that you enjoy working around its not even like having a job. take care... dave just a note to the rest of the readers we worked at the huntsville Al .chrysler electronics plant and we built just about anything electronic that went into the cars we were the only electronic plant owned by chrysler but we had to be just as cheap as all the other competitors when we bid on the contracts , but when mercedes bought chrysler they sold us off as fast as they could which didnt make sense but they wanted the $$ that they milked out of chrysler before they ran us into the ground...oh well.....
  4. my 2011 never used any oil between changes (about 6-7k) and sold and it had 75k on the odo. sounds like it is burning the oil if you dont see the grips. my 2014 has 20k and oil is always correct
  5. 2late4u, on 22 Aug 2014 - 1:41 PM, said: well just bought the lifetime max warranty with unlimited miles with a 100. ded. was about to go over the 12k miles and going on a trip tomorrow that would have put me over the 12k thus it would raise the price $200. so bit the bullet and paid the $2215. plan on keeping this journey a long time. love the looks and the silver color was real easy over the internet already rec a copy of the purchase and they said mopar will send the reg paperwork in about 3 weeks. you save a lot buying it here than at the dealership hope i don't ever need it but figured if i keep it as long as my truck( 14. years) figures out about to $157 yr. check out the forums marked extended warranties use this web address http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com/ it was where i bought mine and was the best price for it.. good luck
  6. just another reason to let the experts do the work as cars are getting so complicated and expensive to repair now days.HOPE you find or get this fixed soon and cheap....
  7. best question so far........................................
  8. maybee journeyman2 could answer this question... either way they do sound better than stock....
  9. i would think it is not possible to use the smaller pads as they would not fit into the caliper correctly as they would be to small, if your not sure of what size pads or which ones you have take your vin # to the dealership they will be able to tell you which ones you have.. and take some pics with your phone or camera to show the dealer what you are talking about... good luck and keep us posted
  10. better yet return it to the dealer and let them fix it so in case something breaks its their fault..
  11. the after does sound better ,a little deeper sound, do you noticed a drone or deeper noise at highway speed. after i changed my truck muffler to a flow master and then duals out the rear it raised the noise level and the wife was not a happy camper but it was to late to go back. also the affect that with the org. resonators have drip holes and knowing how much water that does drip out of them wonder how long your new ones will last?
  12. lol i have a set of front pads for my 2011 that i traded in got a 2014 crossroad now...
  13. have your dealer check your vin # if its on there it will show there. also doing additional engine work might void your warranty in my opinion if its not broke why take the chance your already covered on the powertrain why mess with it......and you can buy an extended warranty thru the internet from mopar for about 800-900 look at the extended warranty post. i bought a lifetime miles and yrs max warranty for about 2200. and that covers everything as it said if its mechanical and breaks its covered. 100 deductible after the 3yr 36k warranty and also after the extended powertrain warranty plays out. air cond ,electronics ,
  14. depends on road conditions and the elevation of the route. Going out to vegas from al i avg 23-24 best mpg 27 on the way home 24-27 with 2 tanks avg 31mpg due to elevation thur arizona and new mexico and wind pushing me instead of against me
  15. they will, and i am sure you will be 100 percent happy with the repaint and if not keep all your paperwork and be nice but firm and continue up the chain of command until you get it fixed . but i am sure they will take care of you....
  16. i worked at the st louis caravan plant for 2-3 yrs before i retired and the car also could have got damaged at the plant and got repaired there and that would not show up on any carfax report or any paperwork. i was in inspection at the end of the line and worked day shift and hate to say this but it is the truth we would put red tags on them going down the line for defects mostly paint defects and they would set them aside and try to fix them and then rerun them later and if we caught them again they would set them aside again an wait for a rainy night and then run them down the line on second shift to get them out the door it would piss us off on day shift but nothing we could do about it.....
  17. seen one being towed today behind a big motor home ,he was from Canada. wonder if he is on this blog oh well the front wheels were off the ground on this one. cant see where that would cause any problems on any fwd.
  18. lol, as long as they need to be. that said they come standard length, you can buy them from any auto shop
  19. yea i would continue to follow this up, that would bother the hell out of me.. i had aa caravan that was white and the rear bumper guard was a off white color the dealer buffed it out the best they could but since they don't paint the covers they come in already painted their wasn't much they could do so i let it go but it wasn't as noticeable as your door.. i would go get 2 estimates or letters from some of the paint shops confirming that their is the noticeable paint differences and as far as the dealer telling you that they might have to paint half the car say so what at least it will be a closer match as a whole paint job. good luck... also get paper work every time you talk to them and all work done on it...
  20. was this a dodge dealership or private shop..
  21. rotated my 19 inch tires today 2nd time got about 19k on them, they are still looking great but dam these 19 inch tires and rims are heavy or i am getting older.LOL i really do like the crossroad rims as they don't show the dust on them like the 17 rims did,
  22. thats about right i traded my 2011 for my 2014 crossroad. dealer gave me 12k on trade so had to add 10k. 2011 had 75k on the odometer but was in great shape. on avg you lose 3-4k per yr for the first few yrs on any car or truck. now if i had tried to sell it might have got 1-2k more but liked the crossroad so i did it. also with most used cars not much warranty left and with cars getting so expensive to repair . i purchased the unlimited yrs and miles max warranty over the internet on this one . plan on wearing it out.....
  23. are you both talking about the mopar back up camera or aftermarket back up cameras that might be the difference in your discussions....
  24. jkeaton is right...after you are driving and hit the reset and like you said it read 35mpg that is not a real mpg you are getting as it doesn't take into account starting and stopping. only real way of checking your mpg is to use 2-3 tank full of gas and using your miles you have driven and divide to get a true mpg reading also depend on driving conditions and how you drive no one person gets the same but that said about 22-23 on avg for me city and hwy. straight interstate about 24-28 mpg depending on road conditions and how many rest stops..
