-
about 2 quarts maybee 3 if you are doing a flush
-
this would work but you have to do it many times to flush out the lines, better to remove the return line if possible and slowly add as it drains... good luck

Ice building up in corner of front inside door
2late4u replied to journeygirl2014's topic in Interior
i would take it to a different dealer the next time it builds up so they can see the problem and tell them your past problem with it... -
make sure after they fix it that they also repaired the metal that was rubbing against each other or you will end up with some possible rust problems later on. happy trails

both of my journeys rear seats 2011 and my current 2014 rear seats were hard to move from the outside but they moved a lot easier if i sat in one and then tried to move it.also i hardly ever move them so i really don't have a problem with them...I also agree with jkeaton.

2011 Journey - Do I give it back or keep it?
2late4u replied to Draver17's topic in Owner Impressions
no its not wore out, on your next vech. i would rec buying a extended warranty as cars are getting so complicated and expensive to fix and since you know you drive more than the normal person. i was in your situation just last yr except i wasn't having any real problems with my 2011 mainstreet with 70k but traded it in for my 2014 crossroad but before i hit 12k in just 8 months i bought a lifetime max oem warranty unlimited yrs and milage and only cost about 2200 $$ with a 100 deductible per visit. if i had bought it on my mainstreet i would have kept it... check out the forums on this site about where to buy online for half the price you would pay at the dealership.. good luck on your decision -

2011 Journey - Do I give it back or keep it?
2late4u replied to Draver17's topic in Owner Impressions
trade it in on a 2015 4k rebates and dealers are really wanting to get them back. thats what i did and came out real good on the trade and i also purchased a lifetime yrs and milage contract over the internet a a great price...... -
just a thought but depends on how you think.. before you have adjuster file the claim take some rubbing compound and go to work on it and then wax and then decided if you want to file a claim remember replacing the bumper skin will not be cheap and then its a claim on your ins record and might make your rates to go up.. any damage you cant remove put a bumper sticker on top of.......take care

yrs ago just bought a dodge grand caravan and wife and i go to kmart for something and i happen to park 5-10 parking spots away from all the other cars go inside about half hour later we come out and someone had drag a key or screwdriver down the whole side of the van . of course no witness or any thing..some people just hate to see some one with more then they have.....p.S. you might be able to buff most of that out looks most like paint from his vehicle sorry for your heartache.....

i have fwd only and was driving in some real bad ice and sleet last week and was going about 40mph and for the first time the wheels started to slip and the traction control kicked in and the light came on seamed really weird for me and wasn't sure what was happening to the journey so i reached over and pushed the button to disengage the traction unit and had no more problem. so i tried it again and the same thing happened and so i disengaged it again. now this is the first vehicle i've had that had this option and to be honest i really didn't think much of it,seemed to be more trouble than it helped. but as i lived in the north and was use to driving rear wheel drive in the winter then started using fwd for the last 20 yrs, i wouldn't buy a awd vehicle for myself....

only single ding i get is when the gas is getting low but your low fuel light would come on. possibly are you real low on gas?
