  1. bad tire can make ti pull also my 14 crossroad had a slight pull to the right took it back once or twice they said alignment was right and so i rotated the rears to the front and front to rear and the pull was gone so i took it back told them what i had done and they acted like the problem was solved but i said i want 1 or 2 new tires for the bad ones on the rear after a little haggling they finally gave in and put 2 new ones on for me problem solved...good luck to you
  2. dont know what lights you are talking about guess i am talking about the puddle lights qh well why dont you go by a different dealer
  3. agree with redtomatoman get it back to the dealer for a check up 17-20 in the city and 22-27 MPG on the road is what you should be seeing and i have the K-N air filter had it on my 2011 and kept it for my 2014 but i didnt see any real improvment in mpg maybee 1 mpg but not for sure and i check every tankfull so this is real advice that i am telling you. MPG depends on so many factors that is why so many different post
  4. none on the door that i know of. i adjust mine with the dimmer switch on the dash along the side of the light switch.
  5. both of my journeys have that and i don't have the auto lights, i am sure if it comes from the factory with auto lights then the sensor would be there but i don't believe dodge would put a sensor in there if it wasn't ordered for the auto lights. by the way when i bought my 2011 i asked the salesman and someone in the service dept. what that was and no one could answer that....LOL
  6. the only dimmer i know of is along side the light switch it dims the dash and the lower door lights i have none on the door try diming it at night....
  7. have been reading this post and if as you say after adding the switch they come on and stay on while the engine is running and they shut off after turning the engine off i would say that for all the trouble and considerable cost of adding the sensor and other parts the only downside i see is that the extra wear and shorter life of the head light life but picking up the safety and convince of auto- headlights. i wouldn't try to add the extra equipment..
  8. welcome to the blog lots of good info here.......
  9. so has any one that actually has a crossroad install or have one installed on their journey? still thinking of getting one but am wondering if the hitch interferes with the rear bumper and or does it need to be cut to allow with the install. I am asking as i think i should be able to handle the install but of course all shade tree mechanics think that.LOL any pics of the finished product would be helpful. thanks

  13. well i got over 65k on my 2011 17 inch kumos and still had some tread left, traded it in on my 14 crossroad with the 19 inch have 14k on them so far and looking okay......
  14. is there any synthetic fluid that is recommended since you live up where it gets so cold due to the power steering hoses problem that some have complained about? Well since you haven't had any problem yet ,might be best to stick with the rec fluids...
  15. how peppy is the diesel engine?? welcome to the group
  16. well i don't think the wife is real happy letting go with the $$$ but plan on keeping this one a long time and we do a lot of traveling and have kept my last two trucks 12 yrs and 14yrs. and on the last one the the warranty would have saved me some money and cars aren't getting any cheaper to fix and thies 6 speed trans and engines are getting so hi tech i can see dollars going out as they get older. well wait and see.....I think i got the best price I could have got on dodge warranty...
  17. well just bought the lifetime max warranty with unlimited miles with a 100. ded. was about to go over the 12k miles and going on a trip tomorrow that would have put me over the 12k thus it would raise the price $200. so bit the bullet and paid the $2215. plan on keeping this journey a long time. love the looks and the silver color was real easy over the internet already rec a copy of the purchase and they said mopar will send the reg paperwork in about 3 weeks. you save a lot buying it here than at the dealership hope i don't ever need it but figured if i keep it as long as my truck( 14. years) figures out about to $157 yr.
  18. i don't think that is considered part of the power train warranty , but wouldnt hurt to check...
  19. check with the dealer he can tell you all your options.......
  20. ah good old woodward ave use to drag race there on fri or sat nights back in the early 70s
  21. As far as roads go our unpaved dirt road in Al is smoother than almost any paved road in Mi. P.S, I was born and raised in Clarkston Mi. and as far as Al there is hardly any unpaved roads down here. 22 inch wheels would not look good on your journey, but that is my 2cents worth. take care
