  1. my 2011 mainstreet with 17 inch kumos had about 60 k on them when i put on some takeoffs from a tire store in my area and drove it till about 70k before i traded it for my 14 crossroad with 19 inch with kumos hope i get the same wear and ride out of these as i did my other one as i was well pleased with them... rotate and rotate them babies as with all tires.. my only concern with the 19 inch tires is the cost to replace them when the time comes..
  2. looks like time to buy some new tires for you. you realize that a tire is a wear item and with 30 k on them no way would they be covered. now if after you had bought a tire warranty from kumo then you could file a claim with them but still dont think you would get them to help you much with that milage on them......
  3. how come the 2014 journey owners that bought off the lot cant get or get any answers as to why our drl cant be turned on thur local dealers???? prior yrs of journey owners could get the sales code entered and then get the drl turned on but what about us that the dealers say they dont know how to do it...... any help dodge care i have sent 2 pms to you and havent got no responce even DodgeCaCares was wondering why you havent helped here on this....HELP

  5. my 2011 mainstreet had a little problem with the cruise control buttons sometimes seam like they didnt work but if i pushed a little harder i would feel it make contact and then they would work, dont think it was me as my 2014 crossroad cruise works alot easier so i think it was the buttons . might want to check that out as well good luck..............
  6. i did my 2011 and didnt have no problems, hope you get it fixed. but check your pins and grease them as that has been suggested but as for using a anti-noise compound with wagner pads according to the paperwork that comes with the pads they say that will void their warranty dont know why but i use wagner all the time and have never used the compound and never had any problems with them good luck and report back..

how about checking into why us 2014 journey owners that bought cars off the lot that the dealer didnt order the drl lights, and all the dealers dont seem to know if we can get them turned on? up untill 2013 they could add the sales code and then get them turned on,most dealers had to be told how to do it, but the 2014 cant be done the same way. we have the option thur our 8.4 to do it but not the sales code for U.S. i been told it can still be done like that for the Canada owners. Woiuld really like to get them turned on mine so the wife will quit nagging me about it, and as we all know a happy wife makes a happy life... thanks for any help...................... P.S. as a example my dealer said he coudnt put a rear back up cam on my 2014 untiil i should him the web site for the mopar accs. and it said that it was aval. for the 2014 crossroads and as he at first said it couldnt be done i told him it was the same cam that they had just installed on my 2011 just about 4 months earlier.
  8. sounds like a trip to the dealer, sorry about your problem

    creaking seat

take it in quick and make sure you get it on paperwork, since it bothers you. i would have took it back in sooner. yrs ago i was at the end of my 36k warr. and was noticing i was losing antifreeze so i took it in to the dealer and they did a pressure test (at least they said they did) and no leak well that weekend i drove it back to where i lived about 300 mile drive and the next day noticed it was down again so took it to a different dealer and they said well your water pump is leaking and you are past your 36 k warr. and would cost me around $500 in parts and labor so i said um well here is some paperwork from last week while still in warr. and they looked at it and said no problem its covered. i guess the first dealer never put his pressure check into the computer because the 2nd dealer said they could not find no such vist, always get paperwork...............
  11. as it has been said before ,read your manual it will tell how to reset it very easy...also back of the book is a great place to write down your service work done to your journey.......
  12. my daughter has had that code on her 2007 caravan 3.3 eng for over a yr now, i have checked the internet and it seems to be a very common and hard thing to cure. i would think its not the converter but problems before it o2 sen and or dirty injectors or other items. as hers is on her mail van and she didnt want to spend gobs of money and since it hasnt affected the performance and gas milage she hasnt wanted to try and get it fixed and has used it for over a yr now.of course we dont have engine inspections in albama
  13. wonder why dodgecares doesnt weigh in on this subject i sent him a pm but never heard back from him. i myself bought a new 14 crossroad and after signing the deal noticed it didnt have drl but wasnt worried about it as i fgured the service dept could get them turned on, but as we found out dodge has pulled a boner on this and fixed it so we cant. hell i was willing to pay to have them and since the car was ordered without them i cant have it put on thur the dealer CRAZY i was able to have the back up cam installed even thoe the dealer said it couldnt be done i should them the web site thur mopar to order the parts then they said oh we can do that....
  14. good luck on your battery lasting 5 yrs. my 2011 went bad about 3 months ago (3rys total) and all my other dodge vec. batteries lasted about 3-4 yrs at the best. changed it out myself and i removed the front wheel, i believe in giving my self all the room to make it easier and sure am glad i did... good luck to all
  15. no it cant, just bought 14 crossroad and it didnt have heated seats and dealer rec. Katzkin which i did cost was about 500. and has its own switch that they put in side of seat base. it might be poss. to use dealer parts but prob. be alot more $$ than you would want to spend
  16. DodgeCares how about some help? i bought a 2014 crossroad about a month ago and unlike my 2011 journey the drls are inop and according to the dealer and one of our members they say the sales code to enable them does not work on 2014. sure would like to have them. Is there some way you could research on how or what it would take to get them to work. i have turned them on thur the radio but no luck and the local dealer as good as they have been are no help..
  17. no they are after market made by kat skin they were rec. to me by my sales rep at the dealer that is who they use when not able to do mopar. that said the switch is installed on the bottom side of the seat. and you have to manually turn them off when not needed, but they do shut off when the car is shut off. they work very good but do wish they could have been like OME.cost was $505. tax included...if you are able you can u tube on how to do it your self and save alot if you can, getting to old to try and learn new things like this lol good luck
  18. how many miles? under warranty?any messages on the evic? also go to advance auto/auto zone they will check the care for codes for free.
  19. so 2012 year are you over the 3year/36k warranty i assume so but you gave us limted info, if you are close but over on the mileage i say do like bigstar said and i would def. use a different dealer and dont call them go by and talk to the service manager and they will prob. work with you.. good luck and keep us posted.

    PSI ?

48 psi is really high and if that is when they are cold then when they heat up they will rise to 50 -51 psi . i have never heard of psi that high i always run around 36 -37 psi. true running that high will get you better mpg but you run the risk of having your tires ove-rinflated and risk having a blow out at hi-way speeds. and also your tires will wear out faster in the middle of the tire . with less traction during wet weather.its your choice as to what you want to do but i would let the psi down at least to 40-41 at the most...goood luck and keep it between the ditches.......
  21. if you are not sure stop by some body shop or your dealership body shop with the mirror and they prob. will help you or show you how to do what you are wanting . i have done this with other problems and most places are willing to help you out for the goodwill gesture.
  22. had a 2004 caravan that would bump and make a noise when hitting certin chuck holes but not all the time and it kept getting a little worse so i jacked up the right side and the left and found there was a rubber bushing loose i think it was on a sway bar and it had worked its way out of the clamp holding it. well it was getting late so i lube it up a bit and was able to get it back into the clamp and i tightened the hell out of it. never had any more problems or noise. so doesnt hurt to look under and check things out.. good luck
  23. almost all updates are free but you need to check with your dealer to be sure
  24. i too bought a torque wrench a few yrs ago. found out i prob. had been over torqueing my wheel nuts to tight. 95 ftlbs is not as hard as you would think. but you have a slight tire or wheel problem i would rotate the front to rear to see if it solves the problem good luck also do NOT use grease or anti-seize grease on the studs as that lets you over tighten the lugs also
