as you said maybe the place you bought it from can help with whatever is wrong ,no mention of any warranty from them but they may help since you just bought it as a goodwill gesture,,,Please report back on what you find out is the problem for others to see

well after 138 k miles and 9 yrs, i open the hood and my little black cap that covers the oil filter canister has flew the coop.... no big deal its just an unused twist off cap that doesn't do anything so i call the dealership and its a 10 days wait to get it and $18, for the piece, so i got to thinking since i am so cheap ill just take that old plastic polictail sign that i had standing in the corner and cut a round 6 inch circle ,and it fit down in the recessed hole just right and i have it drying with the some black paint right now and then plan on a few drops of silicone around the edge and i can also use 2-3 small finnish screws i have to give it a bit more hold down strength. I have to save that money for the kids inheritance so they can go thur it like a hot knife thur butter....LOL

nope no idea here , But you might want to disconnect the battery cables up top and leave them off for 15 minutes or so then reconnect,,kinda like rebooting your computer,,good luck let us know if it helps

i googled this from your question....... Transmission range sensor ? on 2019 dodge journey.= also you might want to try this on you tube as well Depending on the car in question, the Transmission Range Sensor may often be referred to as the neutral safety switch or PRNDL (Park-Reverse-Neutral-Drive-Low) input and can be found outside the transmission box or on the valve body. -

2late4u replied to Ms Vicky's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
i havent had any problems with my led headlight bulbs flashing as long as you the ones that are cannabis compatible and to be honest i havent paid more than $40. for either of my 2 sets of LOW BEAM BULBS,,,do NOT use led for your high beam bulb..most regular bulbs are getting expensive as well....just wondering if she got the right bulb for the right spot -

which bulb was it high beam or low beam? not sure on the voltage but if it was your low beam led bulbs use less voltage so that might be a work around -
please report back on your repair for others to learn from i hear there is a special way to bleed the system since it involves the abs unit,, also you will have to have it enabled to work on your journey either the dealership or maybe the scanner you got if it will do it...Where are you getting your abs unit they are all backordered here in al?. of course mine is being taking care of under a warranty so thats why i am waiting on the OEM part
-
also even if you find an ABS off a junk journey or aftermarket one it will have to be coded for it to work on your journey by a dealership or someone that has a real good scanner that also removes the bad code in your journey correct code is C2200-49 internal fault is for a bad ABS unit
-
you need to have it scanned with a good quality scanner that works with abs codes, mine has thoes lights on with code C2200 i have been waiting 4 months for the dealership to get the abs module back in stock, they have been on backorder for over 8 months from what i have been told.... like i said you need a good scanner even the 140 scanner from harbor freight will tell you

2014 2.4 Won’t start randomly
2late4u replied to markfs33's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
If the battery is over 3 yrs old get it tested ,,,,, have it load tested to see if it is in good shape....no matter what you think if it is good or not get it tested as that is the easiest to check and cheapest usually free at most part stores,,,also it will involve some time and labor but if it checks out good then remove the cables and clean and tighten them before doing anything else.... 95 % of non start problems are from weak batteries that will run the radio show the lights work and the horn can work but not start the car..also checking all grounds on the frame and starter for corroded or semi loose connections will create on and off starting problems..LIKe i said simple and free things to do before going after expensive fixes by guessing -
for what it worth they say to use a oem mopar part, up to you....report back on what you do and how it turns out?
-
good luck ...My experiences with water leaks on cars and roofs of houses is the leak IS NEVER where you think it is.....LOL one thing you could do is plug the plastic washer hose under the hood to see if it stops leaking back there,,thoes plastic washer lines are a piece of crap and could have froze and that can be the cause

Diagnostic code-P0562-system low voltage
2late4u replied to Hammer's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
HOW old is the battery, it needs to be charged but they say its good.......now days all new cars demand a strong battery as well a working alt to stayed charged,,hard to tell you what to do ,,but if the battery is over 3 yrs old I would replace it with the strongest correctly group sized battery, and then move on to having the alt checked out by a reputable garage
