  6. i have the 6 sp in my journeys BUT have had many 4 spd autos in my caravans with the 3.3 eng over the yrs,,that said the 4spds under normal driving speeds should shift smooth and easy with no jerks or hesitations now if you are going up a steep grade and you hit the gas and it downshifts yes there will be a harsh jerk or revs in eng speed same with just hitting the gas real hard to pass it will downshift with revs and hard jerks...hope you find out if you have a problem...and welcome to the group
  7. found using google........ also checking with your local dealership parts office would be a big help as well Dodge journey fuel pump relay switch - Fixya www.fixya.com/cars/t18558873-dodge_journey_fuel... Dodge does not use a fuel pump cutoff switch, that is Ford and Mazda, and that is is on triggered on impact that exceeds 3 G's. You have what is called and ASD fuel pump shut off relay, it is also triggered in a crash. The ASD is locate in the underhood fuse and relay center. Refer to the owner's manual for location.

  11. you probally need to go to your dealership for the lugs you are wanting since you are using steel rims instead of the alloy rims that are more standard,,that said when i bought some new solid lug nuts for my daughters patriot i needed lugs like you are talking about for her center cap but since they were standard on her patriot it was easier to find on amazon
  12. have you tried putting it into neutral and then try starting it,also could be a intermittent key switch problem,so many different possibilities...good luck
  13. welcome to the group ....have you scanned your journey with a good quality scanner?? What causes ESP BAS Light to come on? When your car’s warning light comes on, it means that something is wrong. Illumination of the ESP BAS light indicates a malfunction of the Brake Assist System or Electronic Stability Program. The most common causes why the ESP BAS light comes on are given below: Bad wheel speed sensor Faulty brake switch Bad steering angle sensor Damaged or faulty wiring Bad brake pads and calipers 1) Bad Wheel Speed Sensor................ Following are the most common repairs that can fix the illuminated ESP BAS warning light: Replace wheel speed sensor Replace steering angle sensor Repair brakes Recalibrate the steering angle sensor Install new brake switch sensor Fix wiring issues Reprogram or replace the PCM
  14. needs to be scanned with a good quality scanner to check for codes that have been stored, could be a wheel speed sensor , or many other things, more info would be helpful? eng size, miles, is it awd or just fwd?
  15. someone will chime in that will be more help than me, But i do have to say you must have done something wrong considering what you say has been done,,, , might be a while since it's the weekend. good luck and welcome to the group there will be some good advise coming soon
  16. more info would help at least which eng, miles and other such info? what was the problem before you worked on it? was it running okay? have you cheked yoiuring wiring to make sure something hasn't been damaged or not plugged in correctly?
  17. With so much info given but i concur Jkeaton
  18. put the journey on a lift and then check each rear wheel as you spin it for some noise or binding ..wheel bearings can sound different to a lot of people ,,,my daughters caravan 3 of the wheel bearing was replaced but then she started getting a bad noise and most everyone said it was her rear diff going out...OUCH well ended up putting it into the dealership and they said nope it was the rear wheel bearing had gone bad, a lot cheaper fix...and also 2 other mechanics when i asked them about the last wheel bearing if it was the problem and they checked it and said no its not the problem.... BUT once on the lift have them check the noise if coming from your flex coupling is what it think its called since you have awd
  19. i have NEVER used a dealer battery in either of my 2 journeys ,,,2011 and now 2014....just use a good quality battery correct CCA size and group size, and have never had a problem with them..clean terminals and tight as hell and then spray with battery post protection against corrosion
  20. PLUS have it scanned for codes as well free at most part stores
  21. OEM can be as far as i know, local dealership would be able to tell you with more info and price as well.........https://www.moparpartsoverstock.com starts around $118
