Front driver side brake sticking
2late4u replied to Nil Skrzypczak's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
have read where rust will build up under the bracket that holds the rubber brake line going to the caliper and can put enough pressure to reduce the brake fluid,,,also has the caliper slide pins been cleaned greased ,as well as the brackets that hold the brake pads in the caliper been cleaned and greased as well -

might just want to remove the connector and see if there is any Corrosion on the pins or see what might be the problem,,if you called the company that you are talking about to see if it is truly plug and play?- 7 replies

the clunks or knocks i have heard sounded kind of like a problem i had with my 2009 caravan which i found out was the sway bar on one side had worked the bushing out of the clamp probally wasnt tightened at the factory to begin with, but that clunk was a lot louder than what i hear from inside my 2014 sounds like something is loose just a bit, but i checked it all over and never found anything never did complain to the dealership as it seemed to be a non fixable noise from what had been discussed here on the forum... NOW as far as squeeks if you are hearing them, i was able to find and fix that noise there are 2 round body rubber bushings one on each side just behind the front wheels and you dont even have to jack your journey up i used some silicon from amazon and sprayed them real good and that worked for a few months and then heard a few squeaks so i sprayed them again, after that time i havent heard any more squeaks for over a yr now DuPont Non-Stick Dry-Film Lubricant Aerosol, 10 oz 4.5 out of 5 stars 5,373 $7.99$7.99 ($0.80/Ounce) FREE delivery Thu, Oct 27 on $25 of items shipped by Amazon Or fastest delivery Tue, Oct 25 ) -

sounds like you got a deal on a journey with a lot of problems,as far as the ac that is probally a blend door actuator problem check out youtube for more info on thoes i believe there are 3 of them drivers passenger and one in the middle...as far as the rest for others to comment on...good luck and welcome to the group

Vibration type noise from R side at highway speed
2late4u replied to djw11's topic in Exterior & Body
120 Kilometers per Hour = 74.564543........ well you could reinforce it BUT i doubt that is the problem, most of the time when i noticed plastic parts making a noise it is more of a loud banging noise, I personally havent experienced the noise you are talking about,,, BUT i have also wondered about all the plastic fender well panels in all 4 areas being attached with just filmise push buttons, seems like they could make a lot of road noise while traveling down the road. -
advance auto was testing my battery one time on my 2001 truck and also the alt and then he printed out that my starter was reading low on current but he said dont worry about till it goes out that was around 10 yrs ago and my stepson is still driving it with no starter problems...LOL

i am not needing any tpms, i was just wondering who actually has had to replace any and at how many yrs they got out of the OEM ones. i dont buy anything off ebay i just dont trust the quality and possibly counterfeit parts, yes i know i will pay a bit more locally but if i have problems at least it is easier to get the $$ back and or quicker to get the right parts .my daughter and her husband had some problems with some stuff they bought off ebay mostly was able to get it straightened out but they did get stuck one time with no satisfaction

Help required ETC warning light on dash
2late4u replied to grahamcook's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
have you had it scanned for any codes? that will lead you in the right direction without throwing parts at it..... a solid warning light means you have a problem but still okay to drive it to get it fixed, a flashing warning light means to shut it off and have it towed or damage will happen to your journey...you might be able to clean it first before replacing it depends on your situation on $$ and parts available check out you tube for vidios on how to clean or replace such part but id get it scanned first for codes -
need to have someone scan it with a good scanner for codes,,,traction and abs lights can mean a lot of different things from a wheel speed sensor to a bad abs module as that is what i an waiting on for the dealership to get the module in stock come jan1

so are you saying it has a clutch? probally the starter from all the info you gave us...LOL

googled this on the lifespan of the TPM battery.......... TPMS Sensor Battery Replacement - My Vehicle Tires myvehicletires.com/tpms-sensor-battery-replacement The estimated life expectancy of an OE TPMS sensor is 5 to 12 years, with the average lifespan being 7 years. TPMS life expectancy is directly related to the number of radiofrequency transmissions the sensors make. Driving habits greatly influence the number of RF transmissions a sensor makes in its lifetime. How Best Do I Preserve My TPMS Battery?

So we had a cold spell, almost got down to to 40 degrees, and my low tire light come on, so i fired up the air compressor and top them all off to 36 psi most were around 31-32 excet left front tire it was at 28 so I got to checking and yep found me a screw right around the inside tread wall, good thing i bought the tire warranty from discount tire so will be off to see them next week..but got me to wondering i have 133.5 k on the clock and its a 2014, so has anyone had to replace a TPM sensor in the wheel yet due to a low battery?

i have been running that size. 235 55 19 for yrs with the standard 19 inch Crossroad rims,,,actually you could go even bigger but some say they rub a bit in tight turns or you can grind off a bit of the strut base so it doesn't,,,i havent run the bigger size so i cant comment on it..check out the forum section on tires for a lot of info on this subject,,,also Welcome to the group as well
