it could also be a cracked coolant reservoir tank, next time parking it put some paper down so you can see where it is dripping from as well,, also you could get the system pressure checked

Abs, traction control, & Brake light on. No codes
2late4u replied to Frank Joyner's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
i just recently had the brake light ,abs and traction control light come as well, our local part stores checked for codes but theirs dont pull nothing up, but my stepson brought over his scanner ( a better one i guess ) and it came up with a code saying abs module bad internal fault) i sch a appt, with the dealership and they checked with their scanner and it said the same thing (c2200) and then told me they would order the part but it is on backorder till the first of Jan. 2023 so they ordered it for me.. i got to checking around and nobody seems to have them in stock but sense mine is covered under my max mopar warranty i have to wait and not use a aftermarket one..i hope your is NOT this problem,,,,,,my stepsons scanner is one he bought from harbor freight ZR11s OBD2 Code Reader with ABS $139. -

Updates and the infamous 'one click no crank' issue
2late4u replied to Tedybear315's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
any way it might be the key switch itself? -
you could try to do the hard reset to see if that would change anything if you havent already tried that, sounds like you guys are just been unloading the parts cannon on this without having it checked out properly..What was the problem and codes from going into limp mode? I dont believe a bad alt wouldn't put it into limp mode, after sitting so long was the battery properly checked to see if it was still good? after rereading your post is it just the electronics acting crazy? will it start up and run? also which engine does it have?

have no idea if you should buy it,,,AC work can get expensive and if he filled it then yes there is a leak .. no mention of miles? price? or other features,,,good luck on what you decide but i would have a mechanic check it out for damage that you can't see and what he thinks about the rng and trans, does it come with a good title and not a rebuilt title.

dodge journey 3.5 V6 2009 Engine vibration
2late4u replied to Salah-Belkhodja Abdeslem's topic in Engine & Transmission
well for certain it wouldn't be due to your battery charger at home to cause a vibration when idling at a light,,, with them saying that i wouldn't trust them no more to work on it,,, might want to run some gas treatment thur your tank for the next 2-3 fill ups. also when was the last time the plugs were changed ?as well for the air filter,, could be many things as as a 13 yr old car keep us informed and good luck -
C2200 fault code, is what my journey has right now and the part is ordered thur the dealership under warranty as well, but wont be in stock till Jan of 2023 the recall on that wire connection was done as well on my journey back a few yrs ago, oh well.....

abs,,etc,,brake light coming on cruise control inop
2late4u replied to 2late4u's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
i believe this is the part they are saying is my problem from the comment section sounds like quite a few are having problems with theirs as well...since i have warranty guess ill wait till i hear from the dealership on mine or until something happens and i have to get it fixed elsewhere.... -
actually i just went to o'reilly's close by my house and they had one for a fwd 2014 journey and they showed it to me and there is no visible tone ring being shown but it was listed for an abs vehicle, and the parts guy said they are built inside the metal casing,,, one thing i would point out tho is to look for one with the rubber boot that has about 5 ribs on it as a couple yrs ago i had to replace several cv axles on my daughter's mail vehicles and i was using advance auto at the time and the ones they had only a 4 rib rubber boot and for most people that might last them, but my daughter did a lot of tight turns with her caravan and the boots would rip or split, last one i went to oreillys and that one never ripped or split.................BUT before replacing the cv axle i would contact your local dodge dealership and ask them where is the tone ring located, either the cv axle or the actual wheel bearing, i would hate to take a part store sales person to tell me where the tone ring is located as it could be located in either part,, good luck and will be wanting to hear the results on this repair

2late4u replied to mjaegs's topic in Engine & Transmission
welcome to the group i assume the plugs have been changed per sch at 100k? -
after checking cv axle for our journey looks like there is no tone ring on it and now i believe it is built into the bearing,,,maybe John/Horace or one of our other members will chime in on this one he is more on top of things than i am

Welcome to the group,,,,,could also be the wheel bearing going bad, also i believe the tone ring is built onto the cv axle,, when doing tight circles left and right in a parking lot is there any noise such as clicking in either direction would point to a bad cv joint, is the wheel spinning okay with no noise or shake, good luck on what you find out and please report back on what you find to be the problem for others should they have such a problem,, also when you replace the wheel sensor did you check to see if dirt or anything was down in the sensor hole, might try blowing it out with some compressed air just in case
