  1. check the part yards like lkq if you can't buy an oem part have you checked with the dealership parts center?
  2. would try to paint it white, myself
  3. op said it was coolant, but i believe it is the ac hose draining water and whoever did this out the clamp on there so it wouldn't get pushed back up thru the hole
  4. WOW that looks like big puddles of fuel, hope it is what you are hoping for from the previous owner, but that looks like a big leak somewhere, keep an eye on the rear floor above the fuel tank as there could be a pressure leak from the fuel pump spraying upwards, my granddaughter had an old caravan and the top of the fuel pump was right under the floor and they were known to develop small cracks and leak/spray fuel from the plastic nipple that came out of the fuel tank on the way to the engine
  5. First welcome to the group,,,,, we dont diesel in the states but i would be having the fuel lines checked from the rear to the front for leaks and also the fuel rails on top of the motor as well that said also check to see if fuel is noted on the front firewall, that said i did have an old truck around 20 yrs ago i was getting a gas smell inside the cab and it ended up being a return vapor air line going back to the tank that they ran thur the inside of the cab ,it had rusted out. it was located right under the step rail along side of the seat, i dont think you will find that to be the cause but you never know,,,,good luck and also what is the avg mpg on your journey also when you find out what the problem is please report back for any others that might have them happen to them
  6. go to forums click on Brake, Chassis & Suspension and then click on green pin for torque specs
  7. great fix, there is always a workaround to save $$$
  8. no I havent heard anyone complain about this
  9. Have no idea,,,sounds like you need to find a different AC repair shop I hope you found the leak or whatever was your problem before getting more refrigerant put in
  10. Welcome to the group as well...
  11. no real set mileage for it to come on depends on how the car is driven i guess, can be rest really easy,it won't come on at 3k,,, i just use the trip od reading i have 2 settings (a and b) so use the bottom one for my oik change amount ,,,,,,,,,,,, but i do at least 5-6 k before i change mine
  12. looks like the camera lens is mounted upside down (shooting up) what is that the top of your garage door?
  13. 14. well you keep replacing the battery but you havent found the problem that is draining the battery, yes some cars are lemons but that goes with the territory of buying used vehicle , i have had 2 journeys one a 2011 traded it in with 70 k a few problems (mostly the undersized brake rotors) and my 2014 crossroad with 128 k on it with a few small problems and also on my 3rd battery... love it and going to run the wheels off it, sorry you are having bad luck with yours but find the cause of the battery drain hopefully

welcome to the group and good luck on your mods
  16. just went out and looked again after watching some youtube, removed the felt covering and i agree i can't find that resister anywhere under there of course i am an 69 yr old fat man and that area is hard to see and it is around 90 degrees and in the sun so i give up...i hope when he gets it fixed he reports back on where this part is for others to use the info....good luck p.s. i followed the other grey wire but couldn't see where it went but that has to be the wires that hooks to the resistor
  17. went out and looked at my 2014 as well and never did find it,, why not go by your local dealership the parts guy should have a drawing of where it should be at least i did get to see my fuse box under there, that no one seems to know about....LOL
  18. sometimes its best to go with OEM parts with electrical parts , yes they cost more but they are more compatible than aftermarket components,,, your choice good luck
  19. yes it is the alternator, just because it is new doesn't mean it isn't working correctly,i assume you got it from a local part store i would be checking with them to get a different one as you didnt have this problem till you changed it out,at least in my ,mind that is what i would be thinking
  20. looks like it would work ok if that is really what you want for the price
  21. well the camera lens can be replaced, make sure it is clean and try using some polish on it as mine is very clear
  22. plenty of videos on youtube show how to do it and yes some on this site has done it,,,now that MAY not be the problem as my rear camera showed some of the same problems you mentioned and then finally went out , i took it to the dealership since i had the mopar lifetime warranty on it and they ended up saying the actual camera went bad, i would have thought it was the wiring or other problems... BUT since you did notice a difference when wiggling the wires i would assume that is the problem ...good luck
