  1. 56054158AG is the camera pigtail and lens according to mopar not sure what you bought, also if you did the install if the sales code has to be added to make the camera work correctly i would check with your local dodge dealership for more correct info good luck
  2. are you sure this is the right part number as it doesn't bring up the rear camera when i checked it????...it looks like your camera lens is upside down? i would get back in touch with who ever sold this to you, ,,,did you do the install? usually the camera lens comes in a whole new trim bracket that you install on the deck lid...
  3. you need to test the contacts at the driver's door to see if its getting power thur the switch,if it did work one time while messing with it then i would assume that is your problem
  4. i just went out and looked at my 2014 3.6 rear brakes kind of hard to see with the tires on but my bottom caliper bolt has 4 equal side on the flange bolt so that would have been the the one with the rubber sleeve
  5. had the same problem on my daughters caravan but it was the rubber tip had swelled up enough that it wouldn't go back in properly, also the part stores never have them in stock, so when i bought some they were not cheap but bought some extras...well long story short if you have such a problem i checked youtube and internet and the rubber tip is actually a anti rattle item, and does not affect the function if its there or removed ...also using silicone grease will avoid this problem i had always used the grease in the little packs they sell you and that is when i had the problems...thanks advance auto
  6. i believe she means she used the fob to push the start button and it still didnt start,,,,,,,,,,by the way it would also be a great idea to invest in new fob batteries as well
  7. i concur that you need a new battery,,,,,your inside lights are acting like most journeys do when the battery goes bad,,, also have the hubby check out the youtube videos on how to replace the battery and clean the connectors with a battery wire tool and use some battery preventive spray on the connections are he gets them nice and tight
  8. just a thought did you use the unlock button in the front doors before you tried opening the hatch thur the opening??? you might run it by a local body shop for more help as they would have done such things before.... and i am sure you can't access the lock from the outside without butchering the metal
  9. yr of journey would be helpful and also which eng and trans do you have?
  10. 2late4u

    I'm new.

    .welcome to the group
  11. great that you got it fixed,as for the journey being sluggish you must have bought the 2.4 and not the 3.6 as it is quite fast
  12. just time for a new battery make sure cables are clean and tight also apply some corrosion spray on the post and cables before you close it up
  13. No its not the cvt transmission when we were looking for her a car i made sure she didnt get anything with the cvt, hers is the 6 speed 4 wheel drive model , one of her friends bought the same yr patriot with the cvt trans and she already had it replaced... i do the maintenance every 30 k on the plugs and whenever she needs brake pads,,,we also had the dealership do the tranny service on it at around 80 k i believe they said there is no filter in there they can change unless you remove the trans they said they do offer an aftermarket filter that mounts outside the transmission case but the daughter didnt want to spend the $$ on it,as she has already ordered a new right hand jeep but they said it will take about 6 months to get it
  14. hate to ask but what was the before mpg ? i would assume that is all city driving with a lot of stop and go?
  15. sounds like a trip to a transmission shop is in your future
  16. my daughter has the 2.4 in her 2016 jeep patriot that she uses on her rural mail route, it has 125 k stop and go miles on it and still going strong, she has replaced all the wheel bearings at least once and 1 oxg sensor 1 set of brake pads all the way around and many ,many ,sets of tires...LOL
  17. why not ask your local jeep dealership for the specs on both the wheels ,would be the best place for the correct answer
  18. what i posted was the price of a complete remote start kit not just the fobs,,,,,as i have heard only new fobs can be programed once and used fobs cannot be programed ,also needs to be done correctly...my advice would be go to the dealership as it looks like you are just throwing $$ at the problem,,,one question was your original fob have the remote start button on it as the is an upgrade over reg fobs that require extra equipment and programing
  19. Remote Start - Mopar (82215575AB) MSRP:$332.00 Discount:$45.65 (13.70% off) Sale Price:$286.35 plus install
  20. any auto parts store can check your alt to see if it is working properly advance auto lied to you or their tester was broke or he didnt know how to use it
  21. try some junk yards/Auto salvages yards
  22. you might want to remove the bluetooth fuse as that has seemed to be problems for some journeys owners along with the glove box light coming on even tho the glove box door is latched
  23. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2014/MC-10069161-0335.pdf 2011 12 13 model yrs,,, from google for more info contact your local dodge dealership
  24. if i remember correctly from past post, since you have installed led into your high beam your drl will stay on full high beam when ever you are driving.weather day or night. the load res wont stop that from happening they only help stop the flickering on the led lights... at least this is what we has been reported here in the past....
