  1. what i posted was the price of a complete remote start kit not just the fobs,,,,,as i have heard only new fobs can be programed once and used fobs cannot be programed ,also needs to be done correctly...my advice would be go to the dealership as it looks like you are just throwing $$ at the problem,,,one question was your original fob have the remote start button on it as the is an upgrade over reg fobs that require extra equipment and programing

  3. any auto parts store can check your alt to see if it is working properly advance auto lied to you or their tester was broke or he didnt know how to use it
  4. try some junk yards/Auto salvages yards
  5. you might want to remove the bluetooth fuse as that has seemed to be problems for some journeys owners along with the glove box light coming on even tho the glove box door is latched

  7. if i remember correctly from past post, since you have installed led into your high beam your drl will stay on full high beam when ever you are driving.weather day or night. the load res wont stop that from happening they only help stop the flickering on the led lights... at least this is what we has been reported here in the past....
  8. lol just a black screen on my computer

  10. better late than never,,,, welcome to the group
  11. Well it is 2 yrs old first i would get it load checked and also have the alt checked to make sure it is producing what it should, (BETTER to know it is good than to think it is good)then i would take the time to remove the cables off the battery and clean then and the post real good and then reattach them tight and then also spray some corrosion spray to the terminals and then go from there, also check the grounds up at the jump terminals to make sure they are clean and tight also the starter and frame as well. all this is free and just makes good sense take some steps, before chasing other thoughts as to what is happening
  12. well you could remove the window control panel from the door and test to see if you got power to the switch ,I would guess the motor for the window has went bad, the wires going thur the door frame to the door in the the rubber boot are know to be a problem area for broken or frayed wires that might be a problem.,,,good luck and welcome to the group
  13. i hope you try to get a refund on the defective unit....
  14. TrueDrive 2014 Dodge Journey - Wheel Hub and Bearing - Front, Driver or Passenger Side, AWD/FWD +5 Hover over main image to zoom $61.99
  15. actually the tone ring is built onto the cv axle at on all i have ever seen as it spins around ,the abs wire sensor pickup sends the signal to the computer. i am sure that is how it has on journeys as well, that said your wheel bearing as well could be going bad and that as well can cause a wheel speed sensor to show as bad depending on how many miles you have on your journey.....here is a link showing replacing a tone ring,,( i didnt even know it could be replaced but for the trouble and cpost a new cv axle would be the quicker and easier solution as well)
  16. yes when you google your 2013 journey 3.6 oil filter it will bring up pictures of this design 2011-1013
  17. local auto zone dig, my daughter's jeep and said which wheel speed sensor with their code reader....dont see where you are located Kieran
  18. from a dodge dealership up in michigan over the internet,,,,mine doesn't cover batteries or wear items.....and yes the 09 came with the lifetime warranty as they were trying to assure everyone that chrysler was going to stay in business,,,,,,if you check on it i know if my repair cost more than what the car is worth they will only cover up to that and the rest is on me and then they can void the warranty. and yes also dodge doesn't offer this max warranty any more
  19. use a code reader and or go to your local car part store they usually will read the codes and be able to tell you what MIGHT be wrong otherwise you are just guessing...yes with thoes lights on it is usually a wheel speed sensor and fairly easy to replace and not very expensive, that said not sure on the awd light as i dont have awd but they do need to be serviced at certain intervals,,,but on mine the abs light and traction control light and came on when it was a speed sensor..........you could just remove each wheel and right behind the hub is a bolt that holds the sensor in the hole just remove it and wipe it off DONT use any brake cleaner on it and make sure everything looks clean and then reinstall the sensor and bolt....my daughters jeep patriot light came on and there was some trash in the hole blocking the sensor from activating the signal to the main computer,I cleaned it off and drove it a few miles light went off and no more problems
  20. i also had never thought much of the ext warranties myself but after having my 2011 70 k with no big prob, i traded it in on my 2014 and ended up buying the lifetime warranty on it over the internet cost me $2200 for it, LOL my local dealership wouldn't even sell the lifetime one, as i really liked the style of the journey. I have had to use it 2 times so far nothing real big both visit would have cost me over (1k together) but only had to pay 100 each visit so around 800 so i am still in the hole for a while which is fine with me....LOL
  21. agree with john , i would say the part is defective if you have tried 2 different times with new seal,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,where did you purchase it?????????
  22. there are 2 different oil filters for the 3.6 , also change your own oil as most places will over tighten the oil cap and can crack the housing, it uses a o ring to seal
