maybe a local auto body shop could offer you some help of course they would want to be paid, that said what have you done since buying the handle also was it oem? or aftermarket if so maybe they can offer some help as well, they usually are nut inserts welded in or can use a tool to use a nut insert that is pressed into the holes, you may have to drill the holes if they are not there...good luck

first off find a different mechanic,or at least get a second opinion, the clicking noise is your blend door actuator resetting once they get power which is when you open your doors or resetting after you turn off the car and you get out it should stop after shutting off your car just sit in there for a 1 minutes without touching anything,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,......from google........ How do I know if my blend door actuator is bad? When you start the car, or just the AC system, and notice a knocking sound like someone tapping on your door, that is indicative of a problem with the blend door actuator. Inconsistent Airflow: If the blend door is moving back and forth, then the airflow will be diverted incorrectly or maintained incorrectly.

What are the causes of the P2099 code? Some potential causes of this trouble code may include: The mass air flow sensor could be malfunctioning The mass air flow sensor’s circuitry could be damaged The air inlet tubing connected to the intake manifold could have a vacuum leak allowing unmetered air to enter the engine The oxygen sensor(s) or circuitry could be damaged Anything that could cause a rich condition, such as a faulty fuel pressure regulator or manifold absolute pressure sensor The powertrain control module could be malfunctioning Replace/Repair These Parts To Fix OBD Code P2097 Fuel Pressure Regulator – A fuel pressure regulator is a device used to control the pressure of fuel supplied to the fuel injectors on an engine, even during dramatic changes in fuel demand. Controlling this pressure is needed so that the fuel injectors can receive and dispense fuel at a known rate. So, it is important to replace faulty regulator now! Mass Air Flow Sensor - A faulty mass airflow sensor will cause problems similar to low compression or low vacuum, and will also show symptoms similar to when your vehicle has low fuel pressure from a faulty fuel pump. Thus, replace damaged/faulty MAF sensor today! Electronic Control Unit – ECU monitors the temperature differences in the boost converter with the help of the temperature sensors to prevent the converter from overheating and malfunctioning. Thus, replace faulty ECU immediately. Oxygen Sensor – The O2 sensor can also be at fault leading to lean or rich engine conditions and thus affecting the engine performance and improper fuel consumption. Buy new sensor and replace the faulty one now! Engine Control Module - ECM failures and faults can be very difficult to find and resolve as these are very rare and might require a complete reprogramming of the system to avoid wrong codes from getting stored in the system, leading to misdiagnosis. Replace it now! Exhaust System Parts – Are you seeing this error code flashing? Well, it could be due to malfunctioning exhaust system parts. In addition to this error code, the driver is likely to experience a noisy engine, decrease in power and acceleration. We strongly recommend you to purchase new exhaust system parts from Parts Avatar. Powertrain Control Module - Faulty PCM can disrupt the normal functioning of the vehicle by affecting the transmission system and the fuel delivery system. This will cause the system to store wrong OBD error and thus can lead to misdiagnosis. Diagnostic Tool - In order to be that DIY guy, you need few diagnostic tools to get your car problems pointed out easily. Our diagnostic tools collection will come in handy to do so, so why not have a look?

so did it work fine and no problems after the trip to the dealership or was it still not shifting right and then you cleaned the tpmi/pdc module and has it stayed working fine after that

i am NOT a mechanic but over the yrs have had several ac units fixed on cars and usually when a system has been run out of Freon they always replace the dryer unit ,and then they will find the leak, fix it then pull a vacuum to remove any air and also to verify the system is sealed then they had the Freon to the system, most of the times a leak is at the o rings or hoses..good luck it can get expensive

was the dryer replaced when you had the Freon added ? also did they pull a vacuum on it or just added the Freon.? and ya find and fix the leak

2late4u replied to Corbin5754's topic in Engine & Transmission
wow thats high, of course its been a couple of yrs for mine, i worked for Chrysler here in al and i always bought dodge vans or trucks and the bans at around 90 k would start leaking trans fluid thur a seal and they said to fix that would cost almost as much as a rebuild almost minus parts, i would just fix it them give it to the kids or sell it cheap to other relatives,,,,where are you located just wondering? -

2late4u replied to Corbin5754's topic in Engine & Transmission
it is a 4 speed BUT go to your dealership with your VIN# to get the correct info before checking for a used trans, now not sure how much a used one goes for and also rolling the dice on it, i know the last 4 spd in my caravan only cost me 1200-1300 for it to be rebuilt (about 2-3 yrs ago),,, with a 2015 i would lean towards the rebuild from a reliable garage vs a used crap shoot...but that is up to you...good luck on what ever you decide -
Issues after trans solenoid pack replacement.
2late4u replied to TheHammer85's topic in Engine & Transmission
well I didnt see no mention of miles but on a 2012 dark fluid, and then a flush, only good thing i can point out at least a trans job on the old 4 spd isn't that bad, the last one on a caravan 4 spd was around $1300...have you taken to a transmission shop to see what they think is wrong with it? like 5reble9 mentioned maybe changing the filter and new fluid might help try that before replacing anything else..... i mean changing ecu and throwing other parts to it is going to get expensive, might as well get it redone if you think the journey is worth it,,,,,good luck and report back on what you find out -
well it sure didnt come from the factory with an inline fuse, why not follow where the wire goes to?is the fuse blown as well?

well I rec 2 of my tires ordered, only problem is one is a 215 65 16 and the other is a 235 50 18 (the wrong one) and didnt rec the other 2 tires,so i called Scott at discount tire online and he did some checking and came back and was apologizing a lot and said he had the other 3 tires sent out today, and said he didnt know how it happened and then kept apologizing some more, and i said well i wasnt to happy about all this happening, but not a big deal as my daughter didnt need the tries right away and as we already had the warranty and they are giving us free install and balancing i really couldn't complain to much, he said just leave the wrong tire outside tomorrow and fed x will pick it up. and the only reason we buy the warranty is since my daughter is using her vehicle to delver the mail she had to have 3 of the last tries replaced due to nails and screws ruining them on this last set, her last set of tires were continental tires and they lasted her a whole yr, which in postal use is a long time///LOL

i have a young grandson who is half way thur his apprenticeship for maintenance with Toyota, who is still living at home and has been saving up and says he wants to get a fast sports car whenever he graduates and can afford one,,,i just laughed and said you do realize that for what you will be paying for insurance on the sports car compared to your old truck would pay for the sports car in just a few yrs of insurance payments...LOL but you just cant make them believe you,i guess like we didnt listen to out parents...good luck and tell your son the same

just bought my daughter a set of Michelin tires ( defenders rated at 80 k) from discount tires online instead of going to their store to order them..... well they had a great deal of 110 off instantly and if i used my discount tire credit card i will get and extra 60 on a rebate master card... now the local store will match that price but by ordering on line, the warranty for the tires are about $5 cheaper than the store charges so that is a $20 savings and also buying on line the tax is cheaper by about $20 ...so all that said i ordered them last sat and they were supposed to come in Monday but never got a email on the tracking so i called them and they said there had been a mix up somewhere, and said they were going out Monday nite and should be at my house on Tuesday and to make up for the problem they said as soon as i get them mounted and balanced to send them the invoice on the cost and they would reimburse me up to $ 22. per tire,,, so for a total of $498.40 and free install she is getting a great deal on a set of tires....Discount tire is a great store to trade with if you have one near you give them a try as they rebuild the tpm for free and treat you right every time an d if you dont have a store in your state buy them from discount tire direct online they ship them to you and then they have authorized installers near where ever you live,,,one thing is the offer the best deals at every holiday weekend so try to catch them at that time and also their credit card is easy to apply for and easy to get...MAN i sound like i work for them BUT NO i dont they are just a great honest company for a great deal

Electronics not working after being hit while parked
2late4u replied to JMD1221's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
picture of the fender to show how much It was damaged would help, that said there are a lot of electrical connections on the drivers side, also the pcm (fuse box) has to make a good connection, so many things we could guess but that would be all we can do from here, sounds like you need a good lawyer as well the stores lot where she was parked should have some surveillance cameras if its not to late to get info from them.. if its as she said and she wasnt moving then its his fault even if she was parked in a no parking zone get your ins invoked as it could get expensive the way you are handling it, good luck on whatever you do and keep us informed on what happens -

then make a claim against his insurance company since it was his fault,,did you replace the battery? i would recheck the cables to make sure they both are tight as well before i proceeded to do anything else.other wise it could be any of the things that Oharefred as mentioned -
hope you find the cause of your problem,, probally something for the dealership to fix,yes they are more expensive but they would have a better explanation for the cause of your problem....good luck

one thing my parents did for my brother and me was when we got our first Good paying job ,we had to start paying rent for our room and board and all the things our parents did for us, of course this was over 40 some yrs ago, but my brother had to pay around $10 a week, and me being about 4 yrs younger i had to pay $25 a week (Inflation i guess LOL) anyways mom took what we paid every week and put it in a savings account and when we got married yrs later she gave us that money, My brother never complained about his when he got it but when mom gave me mine and he found out it was about 3 times as much as he got he started complaining and mom just looked at him and said WELL, he paid us more every week and also we didnt have to chase him for it it was always placed on the kitchen table every fri after he cashed his check unlike how we had to get it from you.... also if we ever asked for a loan of money in a big amount from our parents we always would sit down and write out an agreement on the amount, and length, of the loan before it would get repaid to them, it just taught us that nothing was free in life and to take care of your self no matter who you were dealing with. people look at me like it was crazy that our parents did this to us but i look right back at them and said i was raised right and learned the correct way of taking care of business during my lifetime and i also passed this down to both of my kids as well

have the plugs been changed they are due at 100 k, probally not the problem but are over due if they havent been changed, wouldn't think it is the coils the usually are bad or good, someone with more ideas will chime in soon good luck

well 6 yrs of heat and miles might take their toll on the plugs wouldn't hurt to do it then you will be set for another 6 yrs you might as well do the coolant change as well as the the transmission service as well, thats what i did at around 95 k last yr i let the dealership do it since i have the max warranty , but its on record if i should have any problems down the line, and yep kind of pricey at the dealership but oh well you cant take it with you........P.S. actually had the trans done at 60 k and then redone again at the 95 K first time it was around 150 the second time was higher i think it was around 215
