  1. same thoughts here as well , I wouldn't buy an awd myself just more things to go wrong
  2. first change the dam plugs they are wayyyyy over due use the oem copper plugs as well they are cheap and easy to do,have the alt checked and as mentioned replace both it and the decoupler with a new serpentine belt and also make sure your belt tensioner is still working correctly. also you never mentioned when the car was first purchased as that will decide if you still have power train warranty as it is 5 yrs from the date of purchase and 60 thousand miles, very important if you are having transmission problems...also are you in the U.S. ? Canada? or elsewhere as you didnt post your location also very important. with out such info hard to help you..
  3. rough running could be the plugs need to be changed every 30 k,,,,, have the alt and battery checked for free at your local part store,,,,,, also how old is the battery? how many miles on the engine? i am assuming the noise is just a very recent occurrence? also while having the alt and battery checked have them see if their are any codes stored. good luck
  4. from your yr and mileage you might still have power-train warranty still have you checked with the dealership? www.dodge.com/crossbrand/warranty/pdf/2016-Dodge... The Powertrain Limited Warranty lasts for up to 5 years or 60,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first
  5. crystal clear since they installed a new camera lens at the rear tail gate, sorry i dont post pictures if you want to go to your local dealership and just ask to see one there they all are the same
  6. 5026211AA - Genuine Mopar SWITCH-UNDERHOOD https://www.moparpartsgiant.com › parts › mopar-switc... MoparPartsGiant.com offers the best deal for genuine Mopar parts, 5026211AA. SWITCH-UNDERHOOD for $15.87. All parts are backed by the Mopar's ... $15.87 · ‎In stock
  7. also do you have the proper ratio of coolant and water,? did you replace with new coolant? what leaks did you fix before? as mentioned did you replace your 2 thermostats? also as mentioned are the fans coming on at the proper time? after all your journey is going on 7 yrs old might be time to do a back flush and new coolant i just had my 2014 transmission and coolant service done at the dealership, just makes good sense. most water pump problems are leaks as was my grandsons water pump leak on his truck.actually it was a seal leak as most newer vehicle use rubber seals instead of the older style gaskets, but we replaced the pump with a new thermostat as well since it was a 15 yr old truck
  8. never heard that about reset after replacing a battery or alt, also the rebel is right about the TB on the 2.4 i have read about it over on the patroit blog as that is the engine my daughter has in her mail vech. and a lot of TB being replaced due to that problem, i would replace it if i was you
  9. seems like i remember someone posting on here about caliper covers they tried to put on but they wouldn't clear the rim after being installed, be sure to check the clearance real good before driving and then report back on how they fit and work
  10. i have Bluetooth thur my radio but i never use it as to much trouble and to me doesn't work that great,,,why dont you just add an aftermarket blue tooth unit, i know my grandson did in his old pickup
  11. i doubt it as the journey is really not a towing vehicle, you might find something by calling some camper stores or handicap vehicles shops
  12. guess its just the luck of the draw on getting a good one, I had a 2011 (with 70 k and no problems with it) and loved it so much i traded it in on my 2014 and have 112 k on this one and have only had 3 small things go wrong with it and they were covered under my warranty
  13. if you are having to add BRAKE fluid every few months then you have a leak, just clean everything thing as good as you can and then when it leaks a bit you will know what area to examine for the leak, might need to have a qualified mechanic check it out since they have the proper tools and knowledge to troubleshoot the problem, good luck
  14. great to hear this and also great it it cost you nothing ,,,,,But I have to say you have the patience of Jobe
  15. thanks for reporting back what you found to be the reason of your problem so many dont bother, great info for others with this problem
  16. really have no idea and never heard this one before ,might be related to the clock spring,,if you dont want to pay for the dealership diagnostic fee, then your only recourse is not to use the horn i guess, not trying to bee funny or rude.
  17. id go the short route and just splice into it the closet you can to the light .Why go any father and maybe do more damage?
  18. yes of course they will fit, that said be aware your tire replacements for the 19 inch will cost you a lot more than the 17inch and i had a 2011 with 17 inch and they lasted me almost 55k before i replaced them and then traded it in on my 2014 with 19 inch rims which i like the look BUT the cost and not much selection on tire brands unless you switch to a 235 55 19 or 255 50 19 ,and as mentioned before the cost of the 19 inch tires are high priced. you might want to go to 18 inch or 20 inch rims as the tire selection is better with better prices..either way good luck and also you might want to check out for your self sizes of tires compared to the oem by googling tire size comparisons calculators
  19. my mistake thought you were talking coolant temp and not the oil temperature
  20. wheel speed sensor gone bad will also cause the cruise control to not work
  21. sounds way to high, io have the 3.6 eng but i normally run around 185 -200 when i was towing a trailer it would get up to 115-118 but no higher... havs your coolant been changed,, since its a 2014 its due and also might want to replace the thermostat as well
  22. Definitely have your battery load checked and also the alt ,local parts store will do this for free, journeys are bad to act crazy with a low battery charge also make sure the battery clamps are clean and tight.
