what eng would help?

might be what nate was thinking, about using the blue tape might work as he never reported back if that solved his problem i would just seal around the rails real good also make sure your seal around the top hatch is good and not ripped

could be ,maybe the linkage ? local tranmision shop shoud be able to give you more exact advise after looking at it, would be cheaper than the dealership for a free opinion -
possible pluged heater core ? are both heater core hoses hot and cold or what?

first which engine do you have?

as mentioned before HAVE you checked the fuses? you could run a temp wire from the battery post to the washer pump to verify that it does work, and also check the wire connection with a meter to see if juice is going to the pump, remember it would only show juice when pressing the button for the pump.

actual i just checked the part they replaced and it was $399. and final price with discount around 239 plus labor,,,it is just the camera with the wire connectors on it....I use to really brag on this dealership but they have all new people there now and seams to have gone down hill with the service employees....such a shame

well i had to have my daughters jeep worked on at the dealership so after i picked her jeep up i left my journey to have the back up camera worked on ,it finally took the big dump about a month ago,it had been working intermittently for the last year, ended up being the camera in the hatch, they wanted $ 624 when they told me that was the problem and i said ah hell no i told you all i had the Mopar max warranty with a $100 ded, and the girl behind the desk says oh let me check and then said yep your right, i just shook my head as they had already entered my Vin # into their computer and i only have any work done on it there, makes you wonder WTH they are doing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, also with any repair at the dealership comes with a 2 year and unlimited miles on the parts and labor as well
-
that is why mine is in the shop today, really dont like working on some problems, mine is the rear back up camera problem and also that is why i bought the Mopar Max warranty,,,sorry you are having problems but sounds like you have it under control good luck

How to test dodge journey 2010 fuel pump
2late4u replied to Assoumani's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
fuel relay should be in the black box under the hood on the drivers fender, sorry cant help much more than that -
then you still have warranty if its the engine or drive line,,, call your dealership with your vin # and ask what is covered just so that you will know for sure,,, my daughters jeep just started leaking gear lube out her front axle ( 4 by 4)2016 51600 miles called the dealership and he said yep its covered till 60 k in the shop now
-
2016 but no mention of miles, you might still have some power train warranty left 3 yrs or 60 k..just a thought

2012 dodge journey back hatch wiring issues
2late4u replied to Jerrycoleman's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
my back up cam has been acting up for the last yr well it finally quit working couple of weeks ago,so i just put the daughters wrangler in the dealership for some power train warranty(inner seal on the front axle) 4 by 4 she has 51600 on the clock so 60 k was the end of the warranty. so when i pick it up, ill drop the journey off since i have the mopar max warranty so it will only cost me my ded ( went with the $100)....ALL car manufactures have their own set of recurring problems....- 6 replies

2012 dodge journey back hatch wiring issues
2late4u replied to Jerrycoleman's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
either splice new wire onto the old ones, or you buy a new wire loom from the dealership, yes this is a common problem on the journeys and of course yours is 8-9 yrs old but yes they did cheap out on the quality but all manufacture do it trying to make the lowest price vehicle with the most profit they can make, the old saying you get what you pay for is true in some respects- 6 replies
