  1. most scrap yards can order them for you from wrecks , dealership, or go online most oem can be ordered new as well.craigslist, and also F.B marketplace
  2. Might be a wheel bearing,,,,my daughters patriot that she uses for her mail route and it was making a noise and it was the loudest at around 30 mph, her reg mech had replaced both front cv axles as they were both bad and clicking and around the same time replaced both front and the left rear wheel bearing but their was still a loud noise and he said the right rear wheel bearing was okay and he was saying the noise was her diff bearing going bad BIG $$$$ on a patriot and i asked him about the last wheel bearing being bad and he said no it was good, well a long story being made short i put in the dealership to be checked and it was the rear bearing was bad, cost us about twice what her reg mech would have charged but was a hell of a lot cheaper than the differential being replaced, also her regular mech didnt want to replace the diff so he wasn't trying to drive up business for himself.
  3. I actually miss the rear windows in the caravans that would tilt out with a flip of a switch, I used that quite a bit,and yes if you had read your car manual you would have read about this problem when using the rear windows....
  4. Just get use to it all journeys do it most of the time
  5. actually hope your battery is up to snuff, did you have the alt checked to see if it is charging correctly? be sure to report back on what you find for others to use the info, good luck
  6. i have to admit the dealership i use is a great one, not quite as good as they use to be ,as they have all new service people there but still leaps and bounds better than the dealership that is closer to me,takes me about extra 20 minutes to get to the cullman dodge dealership but it is worth it. have been dealing with them for around 15 yrs now
  7. i have mentioned it before but would be good to mention it again, BEFORE buying or having any service work done check your dealership close to you, before having work done or buying parts as they all charge different prices and it could cost you quite a bit more if you dont,,, that said i was going to have my daughters jeep patriot trans fluid changed and after watching a you tube video on it i am not going to do it myself,so i called 3 different dodge dealerships and one was 230. one said it would between 200-300 wouldn't even give me a firm price and the one i am going with was 179 and also by the way it is the same dealership i have used for the last 15 yrs and they do great work, but such a difference in price... also this just a fluid dump and refill as the filter is actually inside the trans so it is not serviceable without removing the trans... the fluid is $25. a quart and takes 7 quarts according to the specs so actually the 179 is almost just the cost of the fluid.. and us journey people complain about having to changer a battery in a fender location.
  8. would run it by a local transmission shop for their advice, if its dripping it will run out sooner or later doing a lot ,ore damage, probally just a seal but get it checked
  9. The water comes in when spraying the top of the door with water just like if you were washing the car.................Are you saying the top edge of the door where it meets the roof or the top edge on the door of the window...sounds like your door rubber seal (weather striping) has a gap or small area that it leaks, if water is getting in thur the window area of the door then your drains on the door are plugged.
  10. might be what nate was thinking, about using the blue tape might work as he never reported back if that solved his problem i would just seal around the rails real good also make sure your seal around the top hatch is good and not ripped
  11. interesting but still glad i bought my mopar max warranty so i dont have to fool with this stuff
  12. could be ,maybe the linkage ? local tranmision shop shoud be able to give you more exact advise after looking at it, would be cheaper than the dealership for a free opinion
  13. possible pluged heater core ? are both heater core hoses hot and cold or what?
  14. as mentioned before HAVE you checked the fuses? you could run a temp wire from the battery post to the washer pump to verify that it does work, and also check the wire connection with a meter to see if juice is going to the pump, remember it would only show juice when pressing the button for the pump.
  15. actual i just checked the part they replaced and it was $399. and final price with discount around 239 plus labor,,,it is just the camera with the wire connectors on it....I use to really brag on this dealership but they have all new people there now and seams to have gone down hill with the service employees....such a shame
  16. well i had to have my daughters jeep worked on at the dealership so after i picked her jeep up i left my journey to have the back up camera worked on ,it finally took the big dump about a month ago,it had been working intermittently for the last year, ended up being the camera in the hatch, they wanted $ 624 when they told me that was the problem and i said ah hell no i told you all i had the Mopar max warranty with a $100 ded, and the girl behind the desk says oh let me check and then said yep your right, i just shook my head as they had already entered my Vin # into their computer and i only have any work done on it there, makes you wonder WTH they are doing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, also with any repair at the dealership comes with a 2 year and unlimited miles on the parts and labor as well
  17. that is why mine is in the shop today, really dont like working on some problems, mine is the rear back up camera problem and also that is why i bought the Mopar Max warranty,,,sorry you are having problems but sounds like you have it under control good luck
  18. check with a local wheelchair conversion shop for automobiles, yes they can but will be expensive,,,,some new cars can be ordered with the procedure already done as i use to work for dodge at the Caravan plant
  19. just reposting this info and video that i seen on FB from a work friend. Dennis Mitchell Huntsville Electronics - Former Employees 7m ยท Just got a letter from Chrysler saying the warranty on the headrest has been extended from 3 years to 10 years in case they deploy without having an accident...I had no idea the headrest did this...In the video it is a 2015 Caravan.. mine is a 2017 ...If you have a caravan watch the video..,,,,,,,,,,,,,,since we have the same headrest as well
  20. welcome to the group, remember when posting a problem to list the most info as possible and what yr and miles and maintenance done
  21. fuel relay should be in the black box under the hood on the drivers fender, sorry cant help much more than that
  22. then you still have warranty if its the engine or drive line,,, call your dealership with your vin # and ask what is covered just so that you will know for sure,,, my daughters jeep just started leaking gear lube out her front axle ( 4 by 4)2016 51600 miles called the dealership and he said yep its covered till 60 k in the shop now
