my daughters patriot 4 wheel drive was making a clunking noise when turning both ways but not all the time and when turning in a full turn no clicking sound i was thinking cv joints but wasn't sure what as they looked good when i checked them visually, anyways her reg mech said both front c v joints were bad and replaced them and the noise went away.

i would be making a trip back to where you had it worked on last and be raising some hell for sure, as said they never replaced the nut and spring washer on that axle and would demand that they fix it for you

i have them in my journey, they come with the 2 holes in them but you really dont need the hooks as these mats fit so perfect that there is no way for them to move around, they fit the floor pan exactly perfect.. i really love them just pull them out and and dump any thin g that is on top of them or vacuum them and put them back in... NOW they are not a carpet like mat. more like a plastic type of fiber that doesn't absorb water but they look great.. they are a great price on Amazon right now for around $83. for the 2 front mats in gray and around $70. for the black which i have............AMAZON 3D MAXpider Carpet Floor Mats for Dodge Journey 2012-2020 Custom Fit Car Floor Liners, Classic Series (1st Row, Gray) Visit the 3D MAXpider Store 4.2 out of 5 stars 18 ratings Price: $83.60 & FREE Shipping

Engine RPM surge when coming to a stop
2late4u replied to DodgeaWrench's topic in Engine & Transmission
i am old school on the 3.6 6 speed they recommend changing at 100 k ,had mine changed at 65 k and will do again at 120 k...only makes good sense as no fluid will last that long without degrading and buildup with gunk, i did cheat and lwt the dealership change it as i got a great service price on having it done -

Dead car twice in a month 2015 SXT FWD
2late4u replied to journeylemon2020's topic in Engine & Transmission
i assume you have had the alt checked since you say the lights dim while at a light, also some have said their problem with dead batteries was the fuse that controls their blue tooth and by pulling it ( the one under the glove box solved their problems)good luck and please report back on what you find to be the problem -

weather you have the 2.4 or the 3.6 you will also have to buy a spark plug socket that is magnetic as well as the hole the plugs go into are about 3-6 inches deep, i change my daughters 2.4 plugs for her and bought a plug socket but it wasn't magnetic just had the rubber plug that is suppose to hold it in and it still keeps falling oust of the socket so i grabbed a 6 inch piece of air line tube off my wife's oxygen concentrate ( one of the old tubed that is) and stuck it onto a small Phillips screwdriver and the other end fits over the connector on the plug and that way i can install the plug hand tight before using the ratchet to tighten it....

had a 89 pickup truck and it caught on fire under the hood, insurance covered the cost to fix it new hood and all sorts of electrical harness repair and a complete paint job as well looked great but it wasnt to long i started to notice some glitches in the way the truck was starting and running so,I traded it in on a new dodge truck before it started to go bad..................they wanted to replace the wiring harness but they had a hard time getting one so they patched it up

try removing the Bluetooth fuse from under the glove box, some posters on here said that was their problems on the battery draining on them. and i am sure dodge dealership could find the problem and fix it as well
