the upper rear trailing link (control arms) oem are non adjustable, i have had problems with my 2014 with them wearing out the inside of my rear tires due to that, your choice is to replace with the org non adj part or part a higher (about 80-95 per side) plus labor only 2 bolts easy to do, then when you get your 4 wheel alignment which cost about 80-100 if they get out of adjustment or the Bushings wear they can be adjusted

Flywheels are typically found on vehicles equipped with manual transmissions, while flexplates are used in vehicles with automatic transmissions. A manual transmission has a flywheel that is attached to the crankshaft and has a clutch disk in between the pressure plate and flywheel.................................................. What causes a Flexplate to break? Aside from a manufacturing defect, the only things that will cause a cracked flex plate are improper torque on the plate bolts at the crank and torque converter and the most common cause of transmission to engine misalignment; sometimes caused by missing alignment dowel pins that mate the transmission to the engine. ..........had to google flexplates thanks for posting your problem and what they found it to be.......

dont know why i have had problems with mine unless its the added weight from my wife's medical scooter that we carry on a rack that is held up by the tow hitch,, never had a problem with my 2011 but at that time i would load the scooter into the rear hatch back,,,but got tired of that with my 2014.. LOL and also was couple of yrs older as well

what was the total cost for the new torque converter and labor? just wondering

check your door drains at the bottom side of the doors to make sure they are clean and open also check your rear cubby bins under the floor mats to make sure you dont have a leak and collecting water there as well

nope ,,,,my clay bar looked like a small bar of soap, they recommended only using 1/4 to 1/2 at a time in case you drop it, and yes you squeeze it and fold it together like you would do play dough and then rub it on the paint finish and then refold it again then reuse it till you are done and you keep re folding it as you go,,,,dont know what you bought but that doesn't sound like a regular clay bar that detailers use.....check out you tube that will explain the process to you...Amazon this is the last clay bar i bought but havent used it yet but the same thing i used before AMAZON..... Senrokes Clay Bar Car Detailing Clay - Clay Bars Magic Clay Bar 4 Pack x 100g Auto Wash Bar with Washing and Adsorption Capacity for Car, Glass, Vehicles and Much More Cleaning, Towel Included $14.99 4 bars of clay and microfiber rag you can buy it cheaper and or more expensive depends on what brand you buy
-
as always dealerships are a lot more $$$ than reg shops that might be capably of fixing it as well for less $$. sorry to hear about your problems please repost with what you do and what it cost havent heard any one ask this question, have watched a few you tube vidios on replacing the lifters but wouldn't try it myself...good luck
-
when you are using the clay bar you will think hell this isn't doing anything....but just like in the prison movies dont drop the clay bar as you will have to throw it away as it will grab any bit of dirt and sand on the ground,,,keep mixing the bar as you go just keep squeezing it and folding it over to mix in the oxidation from the paint finish...real easy to do but just work in small areas as you need to wax it after you get down.. i just did the front hood and fenders then waxed them and then did the sides and top the next day and the rear the next day but i am a 67 yr old fart and get tired easy....LOL

side note here most part stores have quit reading codes due to the covid virus since they have to lean into the car, that is what i have been told at least. get the codes checked but have to ask how old is the battery,,,,, get it load tested to see if it is pushing correct power. journeys dont like weak batteries ..also have them check your alt at the same time if possible and report back what you find out to be your problem, for others that this might happen to them as well
-
means you can buy without having to get it inspected today just pull out your checkbook...LOL if buying online a LOT cheaper than at the dealership,,,,when i bought mine from Zeigler he had a 100 discount at the time had to have a code think it was save100 might want to check different places and then call them and try to bargain a deal if you are ready to buy right away, i had never bought a warranty before but with engines and trans costing so much and me getting older i said what the hell it is the same as buying insurance youmight need it and maybe not its a crap shoot,,,,,JUST make sure who ever you buy from that it is a oem mopar warranty amd not a third party company
-
since you are just using it for clay bar use ,,use the cheapest you can find,,iv use just about all the detail stuff its about all the same even turtle wax,,actually now i buy my detail spray off amazon buy the gallon,, havent really washed the journey in about 3 yrs i just wipe it off with the detail spray and a microfiber cloth every couple of days if it is really dirty or muddy then of course i would wash it but just bug splatters and a light bit of road film just the spray and rag does the job....Griot's Garage 11148 Gallon Speed Shine (Quick Detailer) Gallon
-
as Jkeaton said just use some detail spray, i didnt see it leave any scratches actually while i was doing it i thought hell this isn't doing anything but after cleaning it off it was so slick feeling and added a coat of wax man it was so smooth feeling just like a show car, ended up buying some more clay bar off amazon for a cheaper price and going to do my daughters mail jeep for her, it is always a mess and dirty she will love it. when i do her brakes and clean her Jeep up she pays for the parts and also gives me a book of stamps....man do i work cheap or what?????? LOL

i bought mine thur that website ( Zeigler ) it is a genuine mopar warranty,,,,,,,,also there are other sites as well,,,,,,,,, https://www.chryslerwarrantydirect.com
