well at least they cant say they didnt see it happen,,,,

a bad tire can cause a bumpy ride but it usually doesn't go away after it warms up , re-balance and move the front tires to the rears to see if that helps also remember which front tire you put on which side, might could be a tire problem i had one when it was new and that was the only way i found it balancing didnt fix it they finally replaced it. and usually a bad or warped rotor you will feel in your brake pedal but also you sometimes can feel it in the steering wheel.

depends on what engine and trans you have ???? you didnt state what you have............... also your biggest mistake was going to jiffy lube

Air Conditioning Filter (Maintenance Schedule)
2late4u replied to rozey66's topic in Maintenance & D.Y.I.
i assume you are talking about the cabin air filter as the only other filter is the engine air filter...easy to change look on you tube for journey cabin filter change right behind the glove box takes about 3 minutes to change out, check around for a replacement some of them are real expensive, you might find one for around $10, i bought a k-n cabin reusable air filter just pull it out and wash it out and then let it dry for a bit and then spray some disinfectant Lysol on it as well ..... i clean mine every oil change as well -
Lockpick C8 in 2016 Journey

you bought electronics not suitable for your year journey? WHY? and yes i would assume you are sol unless you can find some one to sell it to....to be honest something like that i wouldn't buy anything used unless it was from a friend and i KNEW it was in good shape and working.....sorry about your problem but good luck on re selling it. -
i watched a u tube on cleaning them as well, great that it worked for you and would be a great idea to do before replacing with new ones
-
plenty of videos on u tube for checking motor mounts , get some one to watch the engine and put it in gear, foot hard on the brake and give it a bit of gas the engine should move some but not a whole lot, might also be a transmission mount as well,,,also check your wheel bearings by lifting and put on jacks and then spin and manually rock the tires to see if any thing wrong there. good luck and report back what you find

just like any company they can charged different amounts on any product that they want. just contact them and see if they want to beat the other companies price, best way to do it..When i bought mine i bought from Zeigler as they were the cheapest at that time but things always change....also if you have to have a repair thur a dodge dealership prices can vary from dealerships to dealerships on parts and labor....
-
remember some one had posted he bought a journey from car-max i believe and they kept bouncing him back and forth between them and Chrysler on a repair problem, i personally wouldn't buy a third party warranty, of course the warranty i bought on my 2014 was the first one i have ever bought on a vehicle in my life, so far i have had to use it one time so far and it saved me about $400. with the add $100 ded i had to pay plus paid for a car rental bill while being repaired.,,,, i paid around $ 2200. for it when i bought it.
-
would only buy a warranty if you plan on keeping it a long time, if just a few years might not be worth it kind of like gambling

welcome to the group

welcome to the group, that said i love my 2014 journey and also had a 2011 journey,no real problems with either one, but since i am retired and planning on keeping this one forever i bought a lifetime unlimited warranty on my 2014 ......sorry to say dodge doesn't offer that warranty any more to present buyers but they still offer some great warranty's even on used low mileage journeys, if you plan on keeping this journey for a long time period ,with the cost of engines and transmissions these days you might want to check into one , several of us have bought off the internet and get a BIG discount on the OEM MOPAR warranty instead of a third party company....good luck and here is some info on warranty's..www.chryslerfactoryplans.com .www.chryslerwarrantydirect.com ,,

identify these parts please
2late4u replied to wpginterceptor's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
the video doesn't show him replacing the other bushing and i would recommend it as well ,plus an alignment, plus any other part you might want to replace but this will fix your camber problem -
identify these parts please

the upper trailing control arm is what was causing my rear tires to wear on the inside of the tires.... i kept having problems with the OEM part as it is non adjustable, that is why i went aftermarket for the adjustable one since then no problems, i had them do both sides as well, and of courser you then ten have to have a 4 wheel alignment done.................... -
identify these parts please

assuming that is the rear upper trailing arm i had mine OEM which is NON adjustable replaced with an after market one which can be adjusted..Moog RK100119 Control Arm price from amazon is about 70 plus tax the other one i assume is the lower one -
sounds good, use to like that stuff when i was younger,,,now at 66 yrs old between the ringing in my ears and the sound of my bones creaking and me grunting when i get up or down , i appreciate the quite sound of my journey
-
tips look nice where did you buy and cost of them i assume you have to have the old ones cut off and the new ones welded back on
-
i believe the trans service is at 100 k the same as the plugs on the 3.6 and coolant at 120 k i had my trans done at around 65 k and then at 100 k i had the plugs and coolant clanged out and will have the trans done again at about 130 k even tho i have the max lifetime warranty on my journey i just dont want any surprises just makes good sense, have been thinking on having the power steering fluid changed out as well

2late4u replied to Mudshack's topic in Engine & Transmission
