glad to hear, and as always when replacing electrical parts it is always best to go with OEM parts yes higher but usually better quality and they always seem to work better then after market parts.

2014 Journey hesitates on acceleration
2late4u replied to wicketbear's topic in Engine & Transmission
need more info on what eng you have if 2.4 change your plugs as they should be changed every 30 k and only use OEM plugs dont use any thing different. or do you have the 3.6 eng. the plugs on them go 100k but that doesn't mean they are still good might want to have them replaced but on the 3.6 it will cost a lot more to replace them as they are harder to change.good luck -
i have a 2014 3.6 and we haul my wife's 3 wheel med scooter on a carrier (75lbs) and her scooter weighs about 175 lbs..journeys seams to handle it great. i have had some problems with the upper rear toe links that were OEM that got out of adj and ruined a set of tires so i had some adj toe links (aftermarket) installed so i can keep the 4 wheel alignment correct....but if you chair weighs 300 lbs i believe you will have a lot of problems...good luck

how did you not notice or ask if the nav was important to you.....yes it can be replaced and look in the forum for more info and also plenty of help on you tube about how to do it, weather tech advertises a cup holder that will hold your cell phone as well.welcome to the group as well

have you replaced your thermostat,or is it the OEM, you might want to do that and a coolant change just to rule that out, also is the electric fan kicking on and off like it should, check the connector to the fan as well to make sure it connected and tight and look for any deformations to the connector as well, as far as the oil cooler is concerned most complaints on it is that they crack or leak cant remember anyone complaining about one going bad by restricting coolant problems...good luck

12 weights is a bad wheel balance.no tire is in balance that way, and that could be causing your problems with the way the journey is driving, and the size of the journey is what it is before and after you buy one. so what else is bothering you today???????????????

i would assume it is connected to the wiper function, are the wipers working? also you could check with a meter to see id you have power going to the washer pump, also there is a separate fuse box under the glove box under the dashboard hard to find and see but there is one there,,,,or you could call the local dodge dealership and talk to the parts department they have all the part numbers and books. good luck P S just in case my daughters van was not squirting fluid and it ended up being a hole in the hose between the pump and the squirters but i could hear the pump so thats gave me a clue to search for it

i am partially to the in the channel as i was able to reuse the vent visors out of my 2011 when i bought my 2014, just be warned the rear visors can be a problem staying in the channel i dont use the rear visors for that reason, some have had good luck with them, to me they just look better

they usually reset after the engine and all power has been shut off, not sure if opening a door would reactivate them to reset, either way there is no real problem except the replacement of them
-
no wheel spacers from the factory. maybe can you provide a sound clip? if brakes and rotors are okay , do you have awd or just fwd?
-
just google on you tube, never have had to replace mine, they all are in a bad space to work on, i would only use a OEM MOPAR part myself will cost you more but better quality on a hard to change part...good luck ps as long as it is working and just clicking i wouldn't worry about it

my advise is to take it to a repair shop, you have spent $60, so far and still not what is even wrong, i dont fool with ac work as there are to many variables of what could be wrong, but if you are not hearing or seeing the compressor clutch starting and stopping then you either have a bad compressor and or leak in your system either way you will have to have the correct tools and knowledge to fix it,good luck
-
if you have dual air then you will have actuators in the rear as well, the clicking noise is when it iis resetting or a gear with a missing or broken thread on it.
-
nothing with new tires would cause engine problems like you described unless they messed with it, have the mechanic double check the battery under a load test and also might could be your throttle body causing the problem. good luck and please report back what you find to be your problem

Are my rear struts self-levelling????
2late4u replied to Raythecaddie's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
check with your local dealership since you have a RT, they used different stiffness on the struts then reg journey, you can still go aftermarket as well -
yes your oil pressure sensor has shorted out and isn't reading correctly my 2014 did the same thing i had a extended warranty and it was fixed all i paid was ded. of 100.the dealership said the oil pressure just wasn't reading correctly due to it shorting out but that the correct oil pressure was never affected. you can google this repair on you tube.

2011 Dodge Journey Mainstreet Not Shifting Correctly
2late4u replied to ALLIEM's topic in Engine & Transmission
first off buying from a buy here and pay here car lot was your first mistake they buy all the crap that most honest dealerships wont keep and then resell it at a huge markup from what they paid for it,,,by the way have your boyfriend fix the oil cooler leak as driving with it leaking is a big chance on ruining your engine.good luck -
i had just seen this as well, dont have this kind mine are the old ones that have a long pin or bolt that you have to insert thur the hole to hold the jack in place, but all my years even when using them i still dont remove the jack i always just release enough weight onto the jack stands and then set the floor jack with enough pressure on it just in case...
-
not sure what you are asking about work with dynamic built in... but yes you can add both factory navigation radios and back up cameras as well, and any aftermarket items as well,,,you need to search the post dealing with either item you want to read,,,they both have been discussed quite extensively... lots of good info on both.
-
there is only on line manuals and you have to pay for them that is what has been posted on here before. sounds like you have found your problem you just need to figure out what is causing it to drain the battery good luck and report back what you find out for others that might have this problem

i have a 2014 crossroad and i only use rain X the pink washer fluid (winter time) that way dont have to worry about switching over before winter time and have never had any problems with my light coming on unless it gets low
