  1. i would say you have a problem with the drivers door switch as its the only door that doesn't turn on the lights check the wires going thur thur rubber boot between the door and the frame of the body, there was a problem there on some models with broken or bare wires.good luck
  2. hate to say this but it shouldn't be to hard to see where the end was attached to the side of the eng compartment as it can only match a certain small area ,that said i just went out in the rain and looked at my 2014 journey and it attaches right at the corner of your reserve tank into a small hole in the side of the passenger fender there is a small black plastic grommet that the rod fits into ,,,if the plastic grommet is missing then it must be part of the prop rod. you should be able to fix it or have to buy a new one.....do what most every ne did years ago take a broom handle and cut to fit to hold the hood open,,,,did that with my wife's old hoop dee good luck
  3. 2 differences in rear cam OEM you will still have to take your journey to your local dealership to have the sales code added to your computer by flashing it, after market does not have to something like that dont search thur the forum as this has been asked a lot good luck
  4. make sure you report back how it works for other posters that might have this problem, glad i live where its a lot warmer when we get a real bad cold snap mine will let out a squeal but thats the worst iv had.
  5. no way in hell i would have used this type, how would you get it out when you go to do your repair
  6. hard to beat free....LOL
  7. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc
  8. that is the size i have used the last 2 times, better selection of tires as well makes you run about 1 mph faster than your speedo will say, no other problems. 255 50 19 can be used as well but more expensive,,,use a tire size calculator to check what size you want to run just google that discount tire is a great place to buy from and if they dont have no stores in your state wait for a holiday to buy as the run great rebate sales then and have always rec the rebates no problem and most of the time you dont pay no sales tax thur the internet if your state doesn't make them charge it, then just take your tires to where ever you want to have them mounted
  9. that happened to my wife's sister on her hip replacement to them over a yr to find out what was causing her pain in her right hip they went in and fixed it but sad to say she is really not improving she is still having a lot of problems she even went up to Nashville to the big hospital and they did some things but still no relieve she is trying so hard to get well. prayers that this gets you up and going again....
  10. well new update i am 6 months past my last surgery and i got home from the Outpatient surgery center, they removed my wire that was holding my patella (knee cap) together while it healed it had started to push on the side of my skin kind of looked like an angry hornet sting without the redness and was starting to get sore all the time. had to be put to sleep while they cut me open again the same size incision as the first 2 times about 20 staples worth, will have to have them taken out in 2 weeks but i was healed up good and was walking real good but going down stares is rough. still have a long way to go but hopefully will get there in the next yr or so or at least good enough.... so be carefull with your knee caps it is a long and painful rehab...take care all
  11. actually i looked at my 2014 3.6 and looks different from the video from what i could tell the thermostat housing and bleed strew is on the right side of the engine by the oil cooler i would run by the dealership parts department and check it out with them or may be a a local part store would have one as well...good luck
  12. most likely the cause as above statement not a journey but will get you looking for what you need
  13. well a 2010 is 10 yrs old, but still the plug shouldn't be stripping out just go to your parts store tell them what you are driving and ask for a over size plug that simple, i liked the old plugs on the caravans they had a silicone washer that made it easy to snug up to the pan with no leaks. to be honest my plug was getting rounded edges from my wrenches and it is a 2014( brought on my own carelessness, from removing it from bad angles) so i bought a cheap one from the part store till i got a replacement from the dealership then the next oil change o installed it they are a lot better quality than the part store ones,,,
  14. guess you didnt like my comment about being hosed, but if your mech had cleaned the cable ends as he should have and installed a clean new battery, nothing else should have mattered on how it looked. i grew up in mi so i know about salt and rust, but clean connections are all that matters and just as you should know dodge inst the only ones that have put batteries in hard to reach areas, guess you can put it up for sale if you dont like it as well, and i do agree some Journeys are not perfect and have problems sorry you are having problems but glad you got it fixed and back up running
  15. so you had to replace your battery cables as well,if so your mech probally hosed you, have changed my battery in my 2011 and my 2014 once each, and never had a problem with each vech.
  16. thanks for reporting back so now thoes having this problem has some where to start or at least print this off and take it to the dealership....
  17. maybe the dealership parts dept could help with this info
  18. why not goggle it,took me 2 seconds ......P0014 is the OBD-II generic code that the engine control module (ECM) has determined that the bank 1 exhaust camshaft is more advanced than what the ECM has commanded it be. This over-advanced condition could be during advancing or retarding of the camshaft timing.
  19. never bothered to add the bug /wind deflector, makes to hard to clean behind it and it really never helps anyways...like the tag tho learned yrs ago dont drive thur Texas with a lc plate that doesn't let the states name show completey, they will pull you over for that...i know that
  20. no , just looking at it would tell you the same
  21. please take the time to ask him what he did and report back on it, so others might try the fix...hope he fixed it for you....
  22. I would pull the radio fuse AND leave it out for how ever long it would take to see if the radio was the problem,, and if that doesn't stop the problem i would disable the the Bluetooth and see if that is causing the problem ,good luck
  23. might be the exhaust pipes cooling off,if it was your brakes they would be so hot you could feel it just getting close to them
