  2. yes i read 18 months but you could have been over the mileage,,, we are not mind readers, you was talking about fob batteries ( $3.00 at the most)and they dont cost no 100 ded ,the info you gave us didnt make much sense, good luck and hope it keeps working good for you
  3. well he must have been past the 3yr36k warranty and had the extended warranty due to the 100 deductible,,as if you are within the 3 yr /36 there is no ded... i love how they give us all the info when asking a question...LOL
  4. wel as you can see a few have had this problem but didnt bother to report back after they got it fixed.good luck and please report back how you fixed it for others that might have this happen to them
  5. sorry but it didnt come stock with that size,,225 55 19 are what come stock but yes you can go up about 255 50 19 is about the biggest without rubbing, you can go to bigger rims and put some really low profile tires on there as well , welcome to the group i run the the 235 55 19 as well throws the speedo off by 1 mph faster then the journey shows you a tire comparison calculator to help you Tire Size Calculator - Compare Tire Sizes | Tacoma World
  6. playing a dangerous game there doing that,,,, just take it into any good repair shop tell them what you found before you lose your braking ability and kill someone or yourself......tire changers are not looking for leaks and or dont care as they are being rushed to get the job done PLEASE have someone check it over most would probally do it free if they know they get to fix it......
  7. more likely low fluid which also would assume you have a small leak or your brake pads are wore out or a brake caliper froze up and not working correctly ,,,get it checked out by a professional brake shop .......how many miles and have the brakes ever been changed front and rear???????
  8. welcome to the group
  9. trade that pos in on a new vehicle and save yourself some trouble and big expensense
  10. yes you might would have got a better price on it if you had bargain that in with your purchase, but yes i would go with the dealership remote start but it will cost you more than aftermarket but then you have a mopar acc, that in case it cause a problem its their fault,so much new software and stuff that can interfere with today's newer electronics...try googling remote starts for dodge journeys
  11. have no idea, thats why i bought a lifetime warranty on my 14 crossroad

    clay bar

dont hesitate it is so easy,i couldn't believe it was that easy...hell re waxing the car was harder than doing the clay bar just keep it wet with the spray bottle while rubbing with the clay bar....
  13. very well could be the actual touch sensor in the door handle or many other things if you cant do many of things listed here, its dealership tme or an electrical repair shop time
  14. first what was causing your over heating problem ,so others might have same problem?second its your transmission is slipping would be my guess... but change the oil and filter i assume you have the 3.6 eng since you left that info out if so the oil sender unit is on the drivers side and down halfway under a bunch of stuff hard to get to they have a video on how to replace it on u tube the proper way takes about 2-3 labor at dealership but if you have the expertise and the tools it can be done mostly by just feeling where it is and get it done....good luck and report back on what you do and if it fixes the problem
  15. well no info on age of journey or miles, might be low on fluid, but you should run it by your local trans, service shop and let them see what you have going on,good luck and report back on what you find out
  16. check out u tube vidios on replacing clock springs and also price one from a mopar discount on the internet
  17. well i would say it was something you did that has caused the problems that you are having, so why did you want to clean the battery post as that is quite a chore to go thur just to clean the battery post, how old is the battery as today's electronics are very sensitive to battery voltage, i would have the battery load tested before doing anything else just to see what shape it is in, and from there makes sure you tighten everything back tight on the cables as well there is always a battery temperature sensor attached to one of the battery cables where it connects to the battery make sure that wire is connected and tight as well, it is an angled nut on the end of the cable,,,other than that good luck and please report back to what you find to be your problem...
  18. sounds a lot like its the clock spring, but could be something else but no its not a fuse as all the different thins have different fuses...good luck and report back on what you find
  19. welcome to the group, i have no info but am sure someone might know,,,good luck
  20. well i am doing a lot better with the knee, have been going to rehab for about 3 weeks , getting better but still a ways from normal but they said it will probally be at least a yr to get back to almost normal. doctor is talking about when i go back to see him dec 27 for x ray and then he said he is thinking we need to remove the wire from my knee as the one end of it is pushing on the skin on the side of my knee looks like a big pimple with out the white head on it...LOL doesn't hurt but is a bit sore if you press on it....bad thing is when they remove the wire they have to cut you wide open again, like they did for the first surgery...dam that is about 20 staples..oh well has to be done ....you all take care of your knee caps...............

    clay bar

i bought a clay bar kit off amazon about 6 months ago and never got around to using it as i have never done it before ,we had some good weather a few days ago so i seen it sitting there and thought well i would do the front of the journey and then the left side another day and so on...at first when i was doing it i thought hell this isn't doing nothing, and then i wiped it off and DAM the paint finnish was slick as owl shit, so i finnished the rest of the hood and front fenders and then came back with a coat of wax, i couldn't believe how slick and smooth it was,,,i did the other side the next day and then finnished up the next day on the roof and right side..i used the mothers clay bar kit ,it comes with a bottle of detailer spray and 2 small bars of yellow clay and a microfiber towel cost was around $14-15 only used 1 bar of clay and that was because i dropped the first 1/2 bar on the ground and they say throw it away if you do that so 1 kit would do about 4 jobs depending on bad or how big the vehicle,,,mine is a 2014 and i really havent ever wax it since i bought it, but i do keep it wiped down with detailer spray at least once a week
  22. well to late for this advise but if it was running okay before and not after the undercoating i would have been back to them as it sounds like something they might have done to it, cut a wire or damage something other than that i have no experience with the o2 sensors good luck let us know what you find in case it happens to someone else
  23. sounds like the fan and your thermostat is working correctly to me, not sure why you got a code but 194 and running and 295 when sitting at idle sounds okay/
  24. welcome to the group,if you change out the rims stick to even size rims as the tires are more available and cheaper
  25. so if this all started right after your brake job at the dealership and have been back and the said they need to break in for a while ( which is bullshit) i would go back and demand they fix what they messed up on their dime ...be nice but be firm and dont stand for no double talk
