welcome to the group, that said I have always just used the group 86 in my 2014 I use interstate battery and have had good luck with them, not sure if they have them there,,,I would just use the best battery and not worry about upsizing and it wold be better to check out your parasite drain go Thur the forum a lot of discussions there, biggest cause has been the Bluetooth module going bad,you can just pull a fuse to disable it,/ glove box light staying on,or the touch door handle sensors causing the int lights to come on intermittently...good luck on what you find and please report back on what you find to be your problem as well for others

I have always used the group 86 in my 2014 3.6 journey, there is usually a small difference between the two of them the specs are the same but the group 86 has DieHard Silver Battery: 86 Group Size, 525 CCA, 655 CA, 90 Minute Reserve Capacity, For Lower Power Demands vs DieHard Silver Battery: 26 Group Size, 525 CCA, 655 CA, 60 Minute Reserve Capacity, For Lower Power Demands

I just had a battery checked at the parts store and it showed a full charge BUT when he put it under a load check, it showed as being weak,,,,also the battery (Interstate brand) is 4 yrs old...So with all your post I would say replace the battery, but if you want to go the cheap route have it checked and then hope it will still work ...Journeys love a fully charged battery and they act out badly with weak ones....So a 9yr old battery maybe replaced after 4-5 yrs and the battery you have now is probably 4-5 yrs old your choice,,,,,and yes we all know where the battery is located....

did it run or start after putting in the new battery also you say you replaced the battery terminals did you use the correct one with the battery temp connector on it? who did the work you or a mechanic? you need to take the battery and have it checked to make sure it is still good and yes we ALL know where the battery is, good luck -

Hot air blowing on one side when air conditioning is on
2late4u replied to davidmack4044's topic in Climate Control
depends on what kind of warranty you purchased and also what ded you have as mentioned the part isn't that expensive and takes about .5 hr to replace,,,as mentioned check out YouTube the part I held in with 2-3 screws just hard to reach kind of awkward try tapping it with a long screwdriver they tend to stick in the closed position P.S. it has been mentioned to only use OEM blend doors actuators instead of aftermarket/amazon parts that don't last...just a recommendation -
I don't have AWD but it doesn't sound right, might want to run it by a transmission shop and see what they say, should be a free check

I would have to think he disconnected something by accident and does not realize it as his journey was working okay before trying to add the freon, and could be due to an anti theft system if so equipped,,,,,,,,,hope he responds back on his solution after he finds out the problem

try disconnecting the battery cables at the upper jump connection and let the car sit for 15 minutes then reconnect the battery cables and hopefully the reset will help, and no there is no safe mode

the one time that I did have a problem with discount tire shipping the tires to my house I received 2 tires bundle together that were same size that I ordered and then 2 tires bound to gather one the right size and the other one a way bigger tire, what the hell was the the guy putting the order to gather was thinking I don't know,, but I called them that day and they apologized a lot and sent me the correct size and also gave me free warranty on all for tires as well and they said just leave the wrong tire outside the garage as well I rec the replacement tire less than 2 days later

Washer Spray Issue
2late4u replied to MarkCee's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
well if it works okay with the hood up BUT doesn't when the hood is closed then you have a restriction somewhere,, the journeys use the plastic little lines, mine was cracked on the drivers side at the rear of the hood by the hinge, I replaced most of my squirter lines with new rubber lines and the good thing is the rubber lines fit tight and just slide over the plastic lines so you don't need any clamps when splicing the rubber lines onto the plastic lines -
from reading your post, it sounds like your at the end of the road with your current mechanics. you probably don't want to hear this BUT sounds like its time to take it your local dodge dealership and show and tell them everything you have done and let them check it out, YES there will be a diagnostic fee but that does go toward the repair, and the repair WILL be higher than a local mechanic but they have more experience with your engine and vehicle...good luck and take care

he never posted back,so we assume that replacing the harness fixed his problem,it would have been nice of people to report back on the their fixes to their problems on here

Just wondering how has your seats held up? I have the leather /fabric inserts in my 2014 crossroad and my 2011 had the all fabric seat material which still looked great when I traded it in on my 2014 and I remember a lot of post worried about the creases and wrinkles in some of the seats, actually I like the look of the ones in my journey and had noticed real leather looked like that as well.mine has held up real good no rips or real foam breaking down in the seats and since I am close to 250-300 over the years I think has done ,of course I have taken good care with leather/protectant on them over the yrs, In my opium dodge used a good quality seat material in our seats,,,,my grandson has a 2018 altima and his has the beige vinyl / leather seats and they look terrible and the fabric has broken and ripped on the edges, I was looking for replacements seats at the local scrap/ junkyards and all the beige ones were the same just junk now the same year altima with black seats were in a lot better shape not sure if it was a different material or if it was real leather.......

i use discount tire for yrs ,i just seen where they bought out tire rack or at least that is what they are saying, i use to order on line when they didnt have a store in our state and that way i didnt have to pay sales tax and also you need to wait for a holiday as they always run great sales during the holidays and then id take them to our local Walmart to have them mounted and if you buy their tire warranties they are great to work with and they replace them with no argument, my grandsons is really rough on his tires with chuck holes and they have replaced 3 different tires ( MICHELIN )for free and all you do is pay for the new tires warranty which is around 20-30 depending on how expensive the tire is
