a friend of mine was having problem with no heat on her charger they thought it was the heater core and other things ,ran up a big bill replacing stuff instead of checking things out and the repair place said it ended up being the engine oil cooler causing the problem...now to me that doesn't make sense but she couldn't make me understand how that would make your heater feel cold , as they were only worried about it getting fixed than they were to understand why it quit heating......just thought id put this out there...

just other than reading about it, hope they get you fixed soon at least you are covered under the warranty

As Armando has said go to the dealership, i did when having problems with the second row seat headrest i wanted to remove, the service manager went out side and said push Both buttons in hard then just jerk them off which he did ,have then sitting in my closet as of right now along with my back cover shade that i dont use
-
Thanks for responding on how to fix it, was pretty sure removing the seat would be involved as well....

sounds like the dealership was on the right track, sure it wasn't cheap but they got it going might want to let them finish it,other wise sounds like you might just be throwing parts at it,have to say think you got in over your head or wallet for a cheap price on a vehicle, have no idea how much you paid for it at the auction, maybe a couple $$$ might get you even since it is a 2017

as stated above make sure your maintenance has been done, that said dodge recommends the trans service be done at around 100 k but i had mine done at around 70 k if i remember right( only makes since the trans is a hot demanding job to go that long) and just had my plugs and coolant changed at 94 k. you might want to have the trans service done real soon since you are getting to the end of you power train service warranty just in case something goes wrong after the service or they find something, good luck and enjoy your journey...ps what size eng did you get?

2013 Dodge Journey will not start
2late4u replied to Karol's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
go on FB and type there name in and leave a good review also on your home page as well. also you can leave a review on yelp in the yellow pages for others to see everyone takes the time to leave a bad review or complaint but not many take the time to brag on good service on their vehicles for others to see. -
2011 Mainstreet Hitch Mount Luggage Basket
2late4u replied to Weezknight's topic in Hauling & Towing
first off check your carrier for how much weight it can hold, with 1000 lbs of passenger in the journey.make sure you are not overloading your basket with to much weight of the luggage i use a medical scooter carrier o the back of mine and it exceeds the hitch tong weight by about 20 lbs and havent never had any problems, sometimes with the basket can drag going into or out of driveway entrance due to the angle of the concrete has been contoured. you would be better to use a roof carrier for some of the luggage to distribute the weight better....probally less than 200 lbs for the luggage depends on your carrier weight limits. ( is it a class 3 or class 2 hitch)..you will be at the limits or over i would assume since you didnt tell us the weight of the luggage...good luck -

could be the lock on the park lever, isn't there a override inside the center console to put the car into neutral,(it should show this trick in your car manual and if you dont have one it can be downloaded of the internet for free)and also could be the battery temperature sensor has gone bad that is on the end of the battery cable that connects to the battery, so many things it could be,throwing parts at it could cost you more than having it towed in toa qualified garage or dealership to find out what is wrong...good luck

no,same as all cars you have to remove the bolts holding on the pan

Unlocking the doors
2late4u replied to Artful Dodger's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs, Locks & Remote Start
so what do you mean? will it unlock if you click the button on the remote as you walk up? -
have always heard thoes are great batteries never had one till we bought my wife's medical scooters and 1 of the batteries was an interstate brand they stayed god for about 3 yrs and i replaced them with some cheaper ones thur battery plus but they are not holding up as good they cost me about 160 for both of them they were a Duracell brand, and i just found a interstate company that has her size batteries in stock but they are about 220 for the 2 of them ,so as always you get what you pay for BUT when i have to get her some new batteries they will be the interstate brand
