just measure the distance between the two holes where the bolts go and then make some calls to the part stores tell them what you want and the measurements and they should be able to check the ones they have in stock

Switch from LED to incandescent
2late4u replied to Idontknow's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
wonder if enough power is being sent thur the wires for it to brighten when the brake is applied as he is going from led to incandescent lights, when you get it figured out please inform us in case someone else wants to do this... -
if the caliper piston is not fully extending then it wont tighten onto the rotor....also look at the front of the caliper piston if there is groves like a plus then these are the ones you have to turn in i bought a cheap cube tool that has different nubs on it that fit into the groves and then use a ratchet to turn . here is piture of it about $7.at harbor fright or most part stores

as he stated put both rear tires in the air, both wheels off and have someone press on the brake and spin the hubs if one of them still spin ,then watch when he releases the brake pedal and pushes on it again to see if the caliper is tightening onto the rotor if not then you have a froze caliper or a bad one ,also check the caliper pins on both rear to make sure they are greased

welcome to our group,as said yes journeys do have some problems as all the newer autos have as well, now days our cars come with more computers than the spaceships that went to the moon. so yes there will be problems and or glitches down the line.was just reading a article about how the car manufactures trying to make their software more protective against hackers and still be able to update and be able to fix them in the future...that said have had 2 journeys and loved them both
-
well, it will tell you in your car manual all about it, just keep your rear windows up

always start out by checking a 4-5 yr old battery first, but save yourself some time and trouble just put in a new battery dont fool with thee old one, and just to be sure as even some new batteries can still have a bad cell ,have them put a full charge on the new one and have them do a LOAD check on it just to be sure it is in top shape, i have a 2014 and i replaced my oem mopar battery 2 yrs ago just to be safe as i have never had good luck with them....also Journeys dont like weak batteries...Remember you get more good info when not being a jerk...good luck

which battery fuse did you check? have them do a load check on your new battery.
-
well you never said how long you have had the journey or if you just bought it, and if you added radiator sealant to it? if that stuff has been added to fix a problem ,that can be a cause to plug up your radiator as well, are the fans kicking on as required?did the shop do a pressure check on the system? what did the shop recommend for you to have done? also did you have them replace the coolant with new coolant sound like you have a incompetent shop working on your journey as they should have found your problem weather its a plugged radiator, fans in-op, bad head gasket, water pump,or what ever FIND a good garage that specialize on the coolant system
-
my 2014 did as well , actually i havent had it clunk in so long cant remember the last time it did. I did have the transmission fluid and filter done at 70 k early i know but just to be safe had it done anyways
-
think all he wants to do is ask questions, start with the simple things or just put in to a garage and let them check it out.
-
2014 94 k no ticking on my 3.6,,,knock on wood
-
i wonder if this will work on a journey as your cap is on the coolant bottle not on top of the rad like shown in the video?????
-
i bought all the pads for mine all 4 corners and thought well ill do them at around 70 k after getting everything ready i jacked it up and started and the front pads were probally only 1/2 used up maybe bit more, the rears were wore a bit more i bet i could have got at least 100-120 if i had wanted to run them down but went ahead and done them since i had them and ready to go
-
i have a 2014 94 k on it i just had the plugs and coolant service done at the dealership as stated above most things do have a shelf life,i had already had the transmission serviced at 70 K as well
-
you should never lose fluid out of your cooling system if you have that then you have a overheating problem, might be the cap itself, thermostat, cooling fans not kicking on. i am not a mech BUT you need to get it checked out before you do damage to your engine. make sure in the am the bottle has plenty of fluid before you rive it and get it checked right away...good luck
-
no it could let coolant come out that outlet if the bottle is overfilling,YES you have a problem better find it before you ruin your engine i would change out your thermostat first off
