  1. welcome to the group, had a 2011 mainstreet and traded it in with 70 k on it for my 2014 crossroad and have 94 k on this one only had 2 small problems with this one so far,as you have noticed usually you only hear the bad news from the ones having problems but the good outweigh the bad as you dont hear from them. just take care of it
  2. well since it is so new and the phones are not working right with it take it to a different dodge and explain what the other dealer said and did and see if they can get it working for you..use your warranty
  3. check all the wiring going to that coil pack and inside the connectors to see if there is a short or bad wire somewhere that is what happened yrs ago to my daughters van they kept replacing the coils till one of the mechs caught it the connector where they plug together was shorting out sometimes it would run good for a week and then go bad they replace the connector and that fixed the problem
  4. guess its been raining there, leak could be mostly from the ac drain, hard to tell from here
  5. if its just the radio that is a piece of cake you can watch u tube videos on how to do it very simple to do...the problem is knowing if that is your problem and not something else causing it? you might want to go to a stereo install and repair shop and get their opinun and see what they would charge to help you fix the problem, i think that would be your best bet since you seam limited on your skills also check out the salvaged yards/junk yards for a good radio and or the touch screen which is a different part than the radio.good luck and report back what you find
  6. from what iv heard there is an online book or manual but it has to be purchased, other than this is all iv heard, google be thy friend...good luck
  7. no it wasn't me but some one on the site was saying they had one,, best bet would be go aftermarket thur a stereo install shop or pick one up at a salvage yard /junk yard might just be a loose connection or shorted wire on the back side,,,might just want to try the disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and reboot it ...good luck and report back what you find out
  8. the parts store may not stock that part but it can be ordered and when it comes in you could check them measurements well before buying is there a oriles or advance auto or nappa close by as you didnt state where you live?
  9. just measure the distance between the two holes where the bolts go and then make some calls to the part stores tell them what you want and the measurements and they should be able to check the ones they have in stock
  10. actually for your other post but seems like some bloggers here have bought parts thur this place...........https://www.moparpartsoverstock.com ........https://www.factorychryslerparts.com
  11. ya OEM is more $$$ but it good quality and usually the right part...anyways good luck
  12. did you buy from rock auto? i usually only buy mopar and or local parts store so i can verify before or after and easier to exchange .good luck finding out what you need, why not run buy a local parts store or dealership with your old part in hand
  13. wonder if enough power is being sent thur the wires for it to brighten when the brake is applied as he is going from led to incandescent lights, when you get it figured out please inform us in case someone else wants to do this...
  14. if the caliper piston is not fully extending then it wont tighten onto the rotor....also look at the front of the caliper piston if there is groves like a plus then these are the ones you have to turn in i bought a cheap cube tool that has different nubs on it that fit into the groves and then use a ratchet to turn . here is piture of it about $7.at harbor fright or most part stores
  15. as he stated put both rear tires in the air, both wheels off and have someone press on the brake and spin the hubs if one of them still spin ,then watch when he releases the brake pedal and pushes on it again to see if the caliper is tightening onto the rotor if not then you have a froze caliper or a bad one ,also check the caliper pins on both rear to make sure they are greased
  16. just had aright front wheel sensor replaced few months ago, only thing my journey showed was the abs and traction control light on also cruise control in op due the traction lights on as well s the abs light....... the wheel speed senor is different than the wheel bearing 2014 with 93 k on it ... dont see how the TPM could be the cause if they are still reading okay...u tube on how to fix the wheel senors or just replace it if you are sure it is bad

welcome to our group,as said yes journeys do have some problems as all the newer autos have as well, now days our cars come with more computers than the spaceships that went to the moon. so yes there will be problems and or glitches down the line.was just reading a article about how the car manufactures trying to make their software more protective against hackers and still be able to update and be able to fix them in the future...that said have had 2 journeys and loved them both
  21. well, it will tell you in your car manual all about it, just keep your rear windows up
  22. always start out by checking a 4-5 yr old battery first, but save yourself some time and trouble just put in a new battery dont fool with thee old one, and just to be sure as even some new batteries can still have a bad cell ,have them put a full charge on the new one and have them do a LOAD check on it just to be sure it is in top shape, i have a 2014 and i replaced my oem mopar battery 2 yrs ago just to be safe as i have never had good luck with them....also Journeys dont like weak batteries...Remember you get more good info when not being a jerk...good luck
  23. which battery fuse did you check? have them do a load check on your new battery.
