  1. well you never said how long you have had the journey or if you just bought it, and if you added radiator sealant to it? if that stuff has been added to fix a problem ,that can be a cause to plug up your radiator as well, are the fans kicking on as required?did the shop do a pressure check on the system? what did the shop recommend for you to have done? also did you have them replace the coolant with new coolant sound like you have a incompetent shop working on your journey as they should have found your problem weather its a plugged radiator,fans in-op, bad head gasket, water pump,or what ever FIND a good garage that specialize on the coolant system
  2. my 2014 did as well , actually i havent had it clunk in so long cant remember the last time it did. I did have the transmission fluid and filter done at 70 k early i know but just to be safe had it done anyways
  3. think all he wants to do is ask questions, start with the simple things or just put in to a garage and let them check it out.

  5. i wonder if this will work on a journey as your cap is on the coolant bottle not on top of the rad like shown in the video?????
  6. i bought all the pads for mine all 4 corners and thought well ill do them at around 70 k after getting everything ready i jacked it up and started and the front pads were probally only 1/2 used up maybe bit more, the rears were wore a bit more i bet i could have got at least 100-120 if i had wanted to run them down but went ahead and done them since i had them and ready to go
  7. i have a 2014 94 k on it i just had the plugs and coolant service done at the dealership as stated above most things do have a shelf life,i had already had the transmission serviced at 70 K as well
  8. you should never lose fluid out of your cooling system if you have that then you have a overheating problem, might be the cap itself, thermostat,cooling fans not kicking on. i am not a mech BUT you need to get it checked out before you do damage to your engine. make sure in the am the bottle has plenty of fluid before you rive it and get it checked right away...good luck
  9. no it could let coolant come out that outlet if the bottle is overfilling,YES you have a problem better find it before you ruin your engine i would change out your thermostat first off
  10. i just hobbled out to my journey and actually there is no hose that connects to that ,it must just be a vent as on my 2014 3.6 the same thing just the the plastic elbow that you have pictured. the return hose must be under the bottle or is the same hose for the overflow.
  11. well just run by your local dealership they can show you where it goes ,the name of it and even price one at the parts window or just look at one on the dealers lot and see for yourself , i have a bad knee so kind of hard for me to go look at mine in the garage for you as well looks like you have a very dirty or leak as well from your picture
  12. well sounds like it wont last to much longer without the 3.6,,,they must be needing the engines and trans for other platform models...such a shame and for them not changing the shape of the journeys i think is a good idea as always thought it was a sharp looking suv oh well limit the options and sales go down and then they can justify canceling it

  14. use to see a lot of caravans, but since they discontinued them, have been seeing a lot of journeys now as well

    who knows? from here we dont know much about how it runs ,how it has been taken care of. some journeys owners have gotton to your number.good luck ps if its a 2.4 you need to change the timing belt SOON
  17. so are you saying the battery is dead or what? we need a lot more info but hey you have warranty use it
  18. sometimes i get a dull ache in certain positions but goes away after moving the leg, just waiting on insurance to approve a mri for second surgery
  19. seen the surgeon today he didnt want to do surgery right away he wants a mri first to see if the tendon is torn as he doesn't think the patella has re broken,waiting on the hospital to call and sch that
  20. the book calls for the trans service at around 100-120 k i believe but i had mine done early at around 70 k it only makes sense that one you should do early
  21. like armando said check all the connections at the starter and the neg at the frame a lot have said that was there problem,good luck
