  1. welcome to our group.i have a 2014 crossroad with about 93 k on it right now ,have only had 2 problems with it the oil sender unit went bad at about 45 k covered under my extended warranty and a wheel sensor went bad about 91 k dealer fixed it for about$59 ( since it was less than my $100 ded on my warranty) when i was having my plugs and coolant changed out.other than that i really love my journey. good luck on yours
  2. you say ill never buy another dodge BUT I hate to tell ALL car manufactures will do the same thing if they have a recall on the software or other parts, just consider the VW diesel scandle if the owners take it in to be fixed the mpg goes down and maybe other things happen to it,of course i read some where you couldn't renew the tags on one if it hadent been serviced ,maybe that was just in states where the cars have to have a special tag for emissions.
  3. have heard pros and cons on the flush system and i really have never had the flush done, as I always figured you need to change the filter
  4. first thing i thought well really dont like the red tow connector, the lights well their okay different for sure
  5. well just went to the dr today 13 days past surgery, have a real long rail road track going down from about 5 inches above the knee to about 4 inch below the knee, x rat looked great he said he removed the brace and also the ace wrap and then showed me how to put it back on since he said i could take it off for a sit down shower only. he said when standing still i could put a bit of weight on it but not to try to take a step with weight on it.suppose to go back in 2 more weeks ,he said rehab wont start for at least 4 more weeks from now. looks like a long road to go but i have some great family helping me so its all good....LOL that hurt.
  6. tire pressure would not disable the cruise control ,now an abs light or the etc light as well, sounds like all your trouble on an 7 year old vech with 110 k not that much to worry about.
  7. check all your ground straps at the frame and at the starter, loosen them up make sure clean metal then re tighten them
  8. as above dp the trans service ,is it awd? these trans are kind of quirky at times sometimes when driving in city i can feel the trans search for which gear it wants sometimes a small hesitation in it if i am slowing down and then suddenly hit the gas,and sometimes going into park or drive might feel a small thump or bang as it had to much slack then caught gear.actually haven felt any of these in a long time but just some of the possibles quirks iv noticed, i have 93 k on my trans i had the fluid and filter done around 70 k as well
  9. well you have the option to take it to a brake repair shop that should be able to check it out and they usually will do it with without cost if you have it fixed by them they would probally be cheaper than the dealership
  10. also size of which engine ? fwd or awd?
  11. would have to say the dealership would be the best advice to find the correct bolts without having one in your hand to compare them, but after removing them send out for some from the local parts store
  12. most systems do use some oil but since i an not a tech cant really answer just make sure you are using the right freon
  13. let them know that you keep bringing it back for the same problem and that you are starting to think you have gotton a lemon and check out your lemon laws in your state, who paid for the different tires? keep up with the dealership and your timeline on what you are taking it back and what for,i think they are just hoping you will give up on getting it right till they tell you well its to late and to many miles for anything to be done
  14. jump start the car if possible then drive it straight to a parts store and let them do a load test on the battery, you most likely need a new battery it can test good like you are testing it with a meter but when it needs the full voltage the battery is dead under a full load...good luck
  15. well i googled what you said (exhaust pressure sensor on a Dodge journey 2009) and came up with a bunch of different things, first off GO TO A DEALERSHIP and at least they will be able to lead you to the right part or area of your search, you gave us no info on the problem, codes,or engine size or the correct name of the part you are looking for.could be as easy as a egr valve or many other things ...good luck
  16. well to be honest sometimes the solution to the problem can be the simplest things you hate to ask, was actually thinking of the switch but didnt take the time to ask the question as some poster will get mad or act insulted by the question. glad everything is working like it should..good catch rolfe
  17. sorry i stay out of radio and navigation and u connect questions to old and to dumb to help there,,good luck there are others that will help sometimes they might not log on every day
  18. - welcome to the group great picture of your journey, the scenery looks very nice over there
  19. i am sure if you check your local stereo store they might have something that would work,or check out the local auto yards
  20. usually you have a little juice to let the lights go crazy or play the radio, but the first to suspect is the battery if oem then it is going on 4 yrs old, then next after a new battery if it does start i would have the alt checked to make sure it is charging, new cars suck the juice out of the batteries with all the electronic do-dads that they put on them now. thats why I said buy the best battery with the longest warranty as these are not the easiest to change. interstate is real good my daughter got one from cosco for her jeep the other day for around$100 ,i put in a Duracell 2 yrs ago from batteries and bulbs around $110 3 yr/7 yr check tur the forum section under batteries and charging post and read some of them to give you a heads up on what might can be wrong, there is also a battery temperature sensor that is built into the neg cable where it attaches to your battery post have been know to go bad....good luck and hope its just the battery
