who knows? from here we dont know much about how it runs ,how it has been taken care of. some journeys owners have gotton to your number.good luck ps if its a 2.4 you need to change the timing belt SOON
  3. so are you saying the battery is dead or what? we need a lot more info but hey you have warranty use it
  4. sometimes i get a dull ache in certain positions but goes away after moving the leg, just waiting on insurance to approve a mri for second surgery
  5. seen the surgeon today he didnt want to do surgery right away he wants a mri first to see if the tendon is torn as he doesn't think the patella has re broken, waiting on the hospital to call and sch that
  6. the book calls for the trans service at around 100-120 k i believe but i had mine done early at around 70 k it only makes sense that one you should do early
  7. like armando said check all the connections at the starter and the neg at the frame a lot have said that was there problem, good luck
  8. well the poker game is going to have to wait a long time for me, just got back from the ER and they say my patella tendon has came loose from the bone as it did before so I have to wait for Tues morning to see the surgeon and see what he says. 7 weeks of rehab down the drain, and back to square 1 again
  9. I am doing a lot better each day, still cant get rid of my limp and i can only bend my knee 90 degrees, it is still swelled a bit and tight but i am not slowing down got to get better. getting ready for that casnio trip on Sept 7 and noticed i had 6400 ( no reminder message)on this oil change so thought well its a nice morning and the wife's asleep ( so she cant bitch at me for doing this) so time to get the oil changed, cleaned the cabin air filter and also the engine air filter. all done and ready for the trip cant wait i love my poker game
  10. well 2012,,, 7 yrs old you got the mileage okay dont know on the years depends on your warranty they have shortened them up, and usually its only inside parts of the drive train,a quick call to any dodge dealership will give you a qualified yes or no on both questions
  11. yep and the cruise wont work with the abs light on, actually your brake system will still work like they were designed in the old days but with the abs lit up you lose the anti- skid system and cruise control.
  12. nope they cant read abs codes, happened to my 2014 couple months ago ended up being the right front wheel sensor, i was having my plugs and coolant changed out at the dealership and had them fix it only cost me $58 for the part and labor dont know if they gave me a cut on the price due to the other work or not...part usually runs from 20 -50 depending on which one, your local garage might can read the code if they have the real expensive one but i didnt want to buy one just for this
  13. he has the push start as all 2011 and up have the new key fobs and your fob actually also has a mech key to unlock your door as his does also, probally just the electrical gremlin popping its head up..
  14. dont know why anyone would want the nav unit i dont have it but i am glad i dont as so many complain about it on here and on Face Book but to each there own i guess
  15. i was just reporting what someone else solved their problem.
  16. there is a lot of parts in an air conditioning unit so just wondering what did you replace all new,,,,,,,,,,,was it the compressor, dryer, the inside unit, blend doors plus many other small parts on a 6 yr old car, sounds like you might have a compressor problem due to mpg loss, hard to tell from here
  17. that broken plastic seat cover can be reattached wit 1-2 placed black screws and will never come loose again,my 2011 it happened to the passenger side seat and the same on my 2014 as well i think when the wife gets out she slides out and catches the plastic top and it just breaks loose as it is held on by just a cheap plastic slide hook... lol if i bought a new journey tomorrow i would just automatically just drill a hole or two and run a black headed screw in their to fix it before it became a problem
  18. thanks for reporting back with your results and what they did .might help out the next poster with this problem, so many after getting it fixed never re-post their fix
  19. if i was in your position, i would change them all out at 1 time why? well the vec has 99 k on it and you say you are having problems before, also probally be cheaper to have them all done and over with at one time ALSO very important is do NOT use sub grade parts use only the best parts you can buy. usually you have a left, right ,front, and rear or might be called the transmission mount as well, good luck... depends on the roads you drive and the weather conditions that the mounts are subjected to during their lifetime. i would suggest using mopar OEM mounts unless you find something better...
  20. well still love my journey,,,had a 2011 put 70 k on it then traded it in for 2014 and bought the lifetime warranty on it and plan on driving it into the ground have 93 k on it right now
